The day when I decided to buy Fazer 25 and R15S , Yamaha discontinued these two fully faired moter cycle. After waiting long time finally switched now to Gixer sf250

I bought FAZER25 done with my first service n I can say that.. it's engine Refinement n breaking system n smoothness n instant pickup and all about specifications, it's amazing n also about exhaust.. u will enjoy it will Riding.. worth buying it .. don't judge by its look.. as always Yamaha as its best performance... A really good attempt to get inputs from public. When I first saw a fazer25 on road i saw a stylish scooter than a faired bike. Yamaha should have given this bike a full fairing with dual headlights as that of the fazer150

Truly Fazer 25 looks better in flesh than pics.. and also I don't like same head light setup of FZ 25 on Fazer instead of the double headlight. But Kudos Yahama, they know what people want from them and deliver the exact thing. Yes, Yamaha!!

Sahi pakde hai. The twins are for people who want a whiff of performance but don't want to leave their good FE, comfortable ride and easy maintainence coccoon. Too bad the rear suspension upsets that balance.

out of box fairing and Yamaha did great job by keeping its unique identity over all similar looking bikes. Superb move
i miss that dual headlamp setup of fazer 150.. in fazer25 the just installed the fairing around headlamp of fz25.. but i still liked it though

I never measured mileage of my fazer 25 today after a long time i drove 445 kms continuously and i got mileage of 41 approx. Bike is too good but unfortunately service is extremely poor mechanics fail to rectify the problems in one go still i must say this is the best bike in its segment.

We keep asking Yamaha for ABS but they never listen. I am a Yamaha nut, and I am waiting for R3 with ABS for forever now. Coming back to Fazer here, I have to say, after looking at it for real, I did change my opinion. Its not so bad, its just that stupid color combination that kills it. But in that Matt grey it does look good in real. All in all I think it's a no brainer for the price tag it has. Its completely different from all the bikes in market. I see people asking for a comparison with RS200 but still the comparison will not make any sense because Fazer stands out so differently.
Rumors of a 250cc Yamaha bike started back in 2012 and it was said that they will release it in 2013, but we got it in 2017. So the this bike is made for 2012-2013 times and not for 2017. This is the reason why Yamaha are always late to any game. All manufacturers are looking ahead into the future and they are bringing their products, but Yamaha guys.. its a shame really. Chao..

back then in around 15yeas ago from now.....im from a remote village. the first time i saw the fazer150 and fz150 i was stunned but then till then i never knew r15 existed
the time 4:20 when music starts in background i forgot every thing and i was drifted to goa ibw 2016 video, can't even describe how amazing that video was actually "amazing " is not exact word for it. its much much more than that ... i am speechless now. do have words to say.

@ 01:10 to 01:12 did anyone notice that, headlamp was shaking? Eager to know about its fit n finish & quality of plastics used, since I heard that Yamaha has bit compromised on its plastic quality.

At 1:18 seconds exactly there was a splendor which transformed into fazer immediately into fazer at 1:19.......... Ghosts there powerdrift?

Great review.. i was considering fz25 but by the looks of fazer i will opt for this one as touring on fazer might be more comfortable than on fz25.. i dont see anyother option in 250 segment with this kinda price.. cheers

Mileage of FZ25 becomes very poor at triple digit speeds. We were doing a saddlesore on 2 bikes, NS and FZ and tank range was almost similar, where NS was a 12 litre tank and FZ with 14 litres. That was a big difference. However, on 2 digit speeds at 80-90, FZ triumphed the NS by a small margin. However, below this speed is when FZ goes a long way out to deliver outstanding mileage,. Especially cruising at ghats with a superb economy. Not sure how Fazer will fare in this area. However, since this is a direct competition for a fuel injected RS, it will loose out on economy at triple digit speeds and top speed for sure.
Which one was more comfortable at triple digit speed? Did both of you successfully complete saddle sore?
lockhrt999 - Both of us completed it, successfully. This was my 10th saddlesore, successfully completed and first for my friend. Cannot speak on comfort, since I had strapped on the Ride on Air and my friend rode on the plain Yamaha seat throughout and he never complained on the sore butt, at the end of the ride. On the other fronts, both were street naked. Both have Bybre brakes, which can easily lock, if we do not apply it progressively(NS is now available with single channel ABS). Yamaha used to take off initially due to the higher torque, however, once we were on triple digits, Ns came out on its own beating the Yamaha. Again, top speed honours goes to NS.

Griffin Muffin - around 1650 kms under 21 hours and 50 minutes. Also, weight of the vehicle did not matter much for us, when both of us were almost weighing close.
