Technical Highlights
AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension based on AIRMATIC enables a driving experience characterized by a high level of agility, neutral cornering behavior and optimal traction. A new AMG-specific feature contributes to performance driving dynamics: active roll stabilization with two electro-mechanic actuators working independently of one another on the front and rear axle, as well as fully variable torque distribution.
48-Volt on-board electrical system technology with EQ Boost: The engine found in the GLE 53 is supplemented with a powerful and efficient Integrated-Starter Generator, in addition to a powerful electric auxiliary compressor. This integrated electric motor system, known as EQ Boost, assists the combustion engine by adding up to 21 hp for short periods of time. EQ Boost also assists when accelerating, making driving without the combustion engine turned on possible ("sailing") and supplies the battery with power by means of high-efficiency recuperation. By doing so, it makes fuel savings possible that were previously the exclusive domain of high-voltage hybrid technology.

I love the carbon fiber interior. Do we functionally need it to reduce the weight for performance? No.
But do we love it? Yes！ It's part of the spirit of AMG. AMG Buyers don't want to look normal in an AMG！
I would be pissed if i bought that car and the dealer told me it needs to be broken in and driven slow for 1000 miles only to find this video of you romping on it..

Im going to own this car in the near future.
It goes much faster then 4.3 to 60. I’ve driven one and had a 22 ordered before they announced they’re not making the V8 this year. It will do 0-60 in 3.6 anytime.

For a more affordable but the same great look, AMG53 , is just 20-30K more than the regular GLE, that is a bargain for such a exclusive coupe.

It’s okay but it’s not good to have in USA because u can’t really do 100 percent only 65 percent so it’s a waste of money and have fun at the gas station because v8 eats gas like it’s a fat baby

0-60 in 3.42 i own one.. where did you get 4.3?? Are you driving on a mountain? I'm 500 feet above sea level and pulling every time 3.42 to 3.59
My numbers are close to yours and the road I tested it on had a slight incline. Even with the slight incline and crappy road it did 3.6 consistently.
Am I right that there is no launch control (aka race start)? I can’t find it in the car manuals.
@@rhall75 there is a launch control, have to go into AMG performance and then click drag race, click button, wait for 3 beeps and watch the 3 circles get filled to green while your pressing down brake and foot too boards, then release and it will record your launch.
So I have the GLC COUPE AMG package and this car makes mine look like shit lol…

And no where near 6500lb. MB lists it just shy of 5400lbs.
I have a locked in place 3.42 and been getting that from 3.42 to 3.56 , 3.58, 3.49, 3.51.. these are my recordings in my drag race software that comes with car.. I hit 3.4s with 93 octane .. 91 I'm in the 3.5 range..
