Why do manufacturers keep putting gorgeous 2.8k oled panels even 4k oled panels at 90 to 120hz on their laptops that don’t have GPUS, but when they toss a 3050 ti or better in them, they knock the display down to 1080p 60 fps on an IPS panel?
I got this Laptop the i5 1650 16gb version and from my experience it is a great laptop for my use which is some light gaming such as HALO, Mass Effect legendary edition, Alien isolation, and such. I also use it for streaming services and other personal uses and never had an issue with it.
They have been very reliable for me, lasted more than 4 and half years n still going with no hiccups with their older model when i went back to school for self upgrading. It was a cheaper alternative and still didnt disappoint. Sometimes the more expensive and 'branded' label doesnt even last as long or remain problem free.
thank you for the review and i've been very interested with this laptop, anyway from what i see the laptop is only have a single fan right? and is it getting toasty on laptop surface?
@@troybakker7628 yeah is the i7 that you mentioned, but I don’t know if there’s a gpu in it. I’m just pissed at MSI because I still have the one-year warranty (I bought the laptop in August) and they are refusing to repair the battery…
@@Crushtado is the battery really broken or was it bad to begin with? And maybe you have lots of apps running in the background which take up a lot of recources and thus battery. So a fresh windows install might help or going to task manager and disabling startup with pc for many programs
I’m currently looking into this with the i7-1280p, Intel iris xe graphics and 32gb of ram. Is this going to be comparable to the laptop in your review?
Can I connect my 1440p 144hz monitor to it and actually enjoy those 144hz? Because currently I got an old laptop and I can only get 60hz on that new monitor.

mine is a gtx, my battery crashes everytime it goes below 50% and keeps breaking, i really dont reccomend this laptop
I wonder how this compares to the upcoming stealth 14 from MSI
I'm gonna be honest, I've seen your website for years and always thought it was sketchy cause of the name. Now I know there's nothing to worry about.
not sure if you know... but the amazon link goes to the xps 13...

I just bought mine and the battery life is so bad it only lasts for about 3 hrs fully charge. I don't know if that's how it's supposed to be.
I have the same issue with this laptop, worst part of it so far

@@Crushtado do you have the version with the i7 1280p or a other cpu and do you have a gpu if so which one

No dedicated graphics are a lot better than integrated
