Who's really better for the world economy? | Business Beyond

  • America First, or America and Friends? In this edition of Business Beyond, we look at presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, and who might be better for the world economy - as examined through the lens of what we know about their planned trade and energy policy. Will Trump's tariff-everything-plan put the United States ahead, or will Harris's multilateralist approach be better all around? Will the plan to "drill, baby, drill" catapult the US into what Trump likes to call energy dominance, or will Harris' lean towards renewables attract more investment? And most importantly - how does this all affect you?

I'm working on my 6th decade of life. When my grandfather entered the workforce the minimum wage had the purchasing power of $30 in today's money. Since then executives and investors have seen their purchasing power increase while the workers actually generating that profit have seen their purchasing power decrease...across the board! Reducing inflation just means prices rise less quickly, it does not mean we will ever see prices lower in relation to income. It is the drip drip drip of increasing price vs current pay that the American worker feels.

It is a national security issue having to buy energy from a foreign country. Let's produce the energy we have here. The issue that both candidates have an issue with is spending money we don't have. The money is printed and that is inflation. The result is rising prices not price gouging from corporations. It really shows Harris's incompetence of not knowing how economics works.

Our government has no idea how people are suffering economically in the world today well, Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain safe, because I earn close to millions of dollars monthly trading cryptocurrencies.

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just going into crypto investment , and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic

I'm surprised you mentioned and recommended Ksenia Alice. I came across the testimony of one of her clients on CNBC news last week.

She's worse for the general civilian economy due to no compromises on foreign wars and her push against cheaper energy policies which is subsidizing Europe's loss of Russian energy, in the wake of Chinese green tech competition. She also would push for more corporate censorship. She would however have better foreign relations with allies, but would be inspire less passion and criticism. Overall, Kamala would perpetuate the current US policies, as per advised by her admin staff. Trump would cause radical changes, good and bad.

@@chadfallon3378 Only the fact that Trump is a criminal with 34 felony counts is already enough not to bother having him as a US president candidate 🤪.
