Hey, also Madison is a beautiful city for a day trip. It's in between two lakes, and has lots of shopping, food and a nice walk up state street with shops and views of the state Capitol.

Hey I am from Milwaukee Wisconsin! A few key things you should do here is go to local state parks , they are so abundant and DOOR COUNTY! Especially, Fish Creek. Since you’re bringing your car here it is gorgeous there in the summer and is about a 3 hour drive from Milwaukee. A couple of local state parks that are popular are 7 bridges , Lions Den and the Oak Leaf Trail. Culver’s has the classic curds but there are many different types and it’s worth it to try them all especially since some places serve a wonderful aioli with it!

You're going to love Milwaukee in the summer, so much to do. You seem to be near Cathedral Square which has Bastille Days in July as well as some nice bars and eateries as well, Also Summerfest, and all the other fests that are in the same location are easily walkable from your location as well. The 3rd Ward has great eateries and shopping as well. Welcome to Milwaukee. *Avoid Water Street, it's very young and drunk.

I feel you on the car shipping. I shipped my car from AZ to Hawaii and the guy didn't ask me for my ID. The only reason why I trusted him because I contacted his number directly. You are a champ for moving because it's a waiting game and a whole lot of $.... I'm happy you're back with Joe and making new memories.
Luckily I did partner with Roadway, so I worked in exchange for the move rather than pay. But car shipping and such is also expensive yes !

Make a potty schedule and stick to it. Or do crate training. I'm also from the area! Skating at Pettit, especially at Christmas. I'm a speed skater, but people seem to really enjoy public skating on the Olympic oval. Also LA Reve in wauwatosa is tasty and has great dessert s and is in a cute walkable area.

I spend $750 at Costco for my husband at least once or twice a year usually around the holidays- when I’m baking a ton and also get random gifts they have there. But every month to every two months- I spend around $250 or under at Costco for our day to day bulk basics. So that price is totally normal! Also I eat like an athlete- 180 grams of protein a day lol 😂 so I think that is why the cost is so high as well. I do F45 workout daily- teach Pilates and also weight training at a PT- so yeah I need to eat a lot to stay that active
