Agree 100% on the "no enemies please" front. I wouldn't mind some environmental hazards, but there are already a ton of games with creepy-crawlies that you have to constantly fight, and it's nice to have some different priorities for a change.
In case anyone is interested, ppq means parts per quadrillion, ppt means parts per trillion, etc. On earth the atmosphere has an oxygen concentration of about 21 parts per hundred. This means that for every 100 particles, about 21 of them are oxygen particles.
Also think adding enemies may not be a good idea but what I would like to see is animals that we could breed / tame, after all animals are all part of an eco system
Drop down 10 blue chests and just go do the grind and get a tonne of resources. And then get about 6-8 o2 canister refills and go exploring, machines still work whilst you explore.
- on top of that ship you have a yellow chest (the best chests and you can deconstruct them to collect resources from the chest) - the seed lirna, it will be used to craft the rocket that will plant vegetation on the planet and oxygen bonuses, this rocket can only be unlocked at the end of the game because you have to produce a lot of biomass - you have 3 oxygen generators, the 1 and 2 that are placed inside the buildings, the third can be placed outside - when you have the machine to produce food , try to vary the seeds a little , some are better than the others , I think beans are the best , but you will need aubergines and mushrooms later on
So Z, that sandy cave you dont recognize? With the sand waterfalls? That is the one I mentioned on the last video. You will need the t4 Backpack and quite a few trips to clear out the iridium in there. And you are going to need to start making chests and such for just specific resources. Especially Iridium, cause your gonna need TONS to make the best heaters and such.
Just discovered your channel and this game, and the more I watch you play it, the more i want to play it myself. Very Subnautica vibes from it, more so if there is land creatures further out, or when life starts to spawn
I mean its an uninhabitable planet that you are making inhabitable, so I don't see how there would be enemies in the first place unless you release them into the planet. But yeah, no enemies would be best.
He left a seed behind that gives 6x oxygen. He should be bringing everything out of the ships, and bring it all to base he will need it all. Also, growing food not really needed, there is plenty of Space Food all over the place that you don't need to grow any food to survive. lol
You need to be more thorough with your searching when looting.Climb on top of that first wrecked ship you went into to find a gold chest with some of the games best loot. There is another if you follow the right side of the canyon down from the ship.
And "p" stands for "pico", an International System of Units prefix for '10^-12'. So "1 pK" is '1 pico Kelvin', or .000000000001 on the Kelvin scale. 0°C = 273.15 K. So get those T4 heaters out, it's gonna take us a while! Lol.
downloaded the demo of this game literally 5 days ago..its awesome, iridium is quite abundant just search and later you can launch rockets to attracts iridium and uranium rich asteroids to crash and you loot. Fyi the prologue of this game is shorter version the demo is the entire version which is playable.
I was laughing so hard at him shaking his mouse around over the blueprint without reading and then declaring confidently that there was no food crafting 😂
6 mins in and I already feel like deconstructing SOME parts of a wreck if not all should have been a thing in Subnautica. I'm really the digging the idea of recycling wrecks as it feels pretty realistic.
@@Shalyn-ln9tu but that isn't enough right? You have tech like a laser cutter and propulsion cannon..you should be able to deconstruct some wrecks...at least the interiors.
@@EdilbertFernando you do, you use the fabricator to break it down. It makes more sense that something bigger than a hand held device breaks down bigger pieces.
@@Shalyn-ln9tu Okay let me try to be clearer. You're referring to salvage that is readily found...I'm referring to entire chunks of a wreck..like the stairs, unscannable base pieces like Data Terminals, Doors etc.
What are you running your graphics on? When I'm playing it takes the graphics a bit long to keep up. Also what should my mouse sensitivity be at? It's really slow to look around.
After playing it myself, there is no real day cycle. The solar panels always produce, 24/7. Also later in the game you can unlock nuclear power which greatly out produces the t2 solar panels
Seriously loving the playthrough, I think some enemies could add some really interesting mechanics to the game though. Even if it's dealing with hostile creatures after terraforming the planet, or maybe you can introduce wildlife depending on what stage of terraforming you've accomplished, or maybe just defense robots in the old wreckage around the map
Plus, some enemies would attract a totally different genre of survival game players as well, increasing the success of the game and development by getting some of the more "aggressive" players
If you build a nuclear reactor make sure you feed it's materials that it needs to make energy otherwise it'll blow up and you would have to start all over again AKA game over. the material you need for the reactor is uranium which is only found during meteor storm. Oh the ship that you just went in that spot you were checking out is actually cave with crystals in it which is what you would need in late game. by the way I love your vids.
I think enemies would be cool but don't overdue it. Subnautica is perfect reference of a good balance. It's always manageable depending on where you go so you build and travel accordingly.
What? I would love enemies, imagine finding mewtwo and conquering that race or something. And then being able to travel to other planets and keep doing it with different races like articuno/lugia/kyroge until you become the master race. I used Pokémons because enemies don’t have to look scary and creepy 🤷🏽♂️ just a thought tho
Just started playing this yesterday and I’m ADDICTED. love how there is no enemies and you can just relax and do your own thing. Nice video 👍
Agree 100% on the "no enemies please" front. I wouldn't mind some environmental hazards, but there are already a ton of games with creepy-crawlies that you have to constantly fight, and it's nice to have some different priorities for a change.
Yeah. Keeping it me realistic with random realistic disasters and Malfunctions would make it better
same
@@shadowproductions969 1000% agree with the 'enemy' decision. If you want to increase difficulty, I would add sleeplessness/fatigue effects.
@@doelbaughman1924 1000000000000000000000000000000000% agree
Don't worry they don't actually plan on adding any aliens.
In case anyone is interested, ppq means parts per quadrillion, ppt means parts per trillion, etc. On earth the atmosphere has an oxygen concentration of about 21 parts per hundred. This means that for every 100 particles, about 21 of them are oxygen particles.
My head hurt but I looked that up your right
Nice
Thanks!
Very sciency
I thought this was common knowledge. But then I saw "very sciency" in the replies
Also think adding enemies may not be a good idea but what I would like to see is animals that we could breed / tame, after all animals are all part of an eco system
i know its 2 years ago but loving this series, you've got my sub!!
Haha!
Ep.1:
"i wanna fix the floating base"
Ep.2:
*builds a Gigant floating base way above the ground*
That ice cavern is genius good on the game deves blocking a rout by having you progress first
Drop down 10 blue chests and just go do the grind and get a tonne of resources. And then get about 6-8 o2 canister refills and go exploring, machines still work whilst you explore.
16:20 yup that’s when solar panels work
Check on the roof of the giant ship :)
yes you should :)
Ah, Z. Heating up the planet one kerosene space heater at a time.
This game looks really cool. And yes I agree no enemies.

Iv been waiting for this to come back
Z1: lets take whats important... oxogen.. water.. no actually lets take all the seeds food and oxogen aren't important.
the amount of times he went over the food grower
Hello z1 just saying I found a game called a township tale on Vr it’s a open world survival vr experience
I love this game. I picked it up after watching your first episode and I've been just waiting for you to release episode 2. Keep it coming.
Watching you build gave me Subnautica vibes.
It's just on land and with no big creatures wanting you in their bellies
no big creatures yet*
true

Take those little red plants they say they give you a 150+ oxygen boost
There is one in the developmental branch that gives 600%. I think the best in the regular branch is 400%
@@Bradbeard-nv1vo you can get the 600% one its at he ship on the hill its the only thing z1 missed there
Just discovered your channel and this game, and the more I watch you play it, the more i want to play it myself. Very Subnautica vibes from it, more so if there is land creatures further out, or when life starts to spawn
I'm finding these videos for this game very addictive and enjoyable too
Loving this series need longer vids
Such a cool game, I also don’t want them to ad enemies.
You want to get ON TOP of the ship, trust me. The view is AWESOME! ;)
Thank you for continuing the series. Can't wait for part 3. 👍
I mean its an uninhabitable planet that you are making inhabitable, so I don't see how there would be enemies in the first place unless you release them into the planet. But yeah, no enemies would be best.
3:50 "We're going to put a little base right here," or "oxygen shacks" as I call them.
Let the wait for a new episode begin 😔😔
great ep, made a lot of progress.
You have more yellow in the sky than dark red you started with.
I actually laughed when you said “It’ll take a hot minute”
He left a seed behind that gives 6x oxygen.
He should be bringing everything out of the ships, and bring it all to base he will need it all.
Also, growing food not really needed, there is plenty of Space Food all over the place that you don't need to grow any food to survive. lol
Food growers helps with oxygen generation too
I love when games use F for flashlight , or L for light or even T for torch.
Shift for run / F for flashlight
I like that he reads nuclear reactor like he's amazed it's in the game when he just read it in the last episode.
You need to be more thorough with your searching when looting.Climb on top of that first wrecked ship you went into to find a gold chest with some of the games best loot. There is another if you follow the right side of the canyon down from the ship.
11:40 Oh no the silicon shortage is spreading
You'll want bean seeds. They give the most health. You'll also want two or three food growers
Caves! I’ve already finished the game and yes it is ice.

just started playing, watching your vids gave me a good start
Would be nice if you could "pull" needed materials automatically out of the storage for crafting Things.
yeah but ship chests and storage chests are the same files, they can't know which is which.

I know one preacher that you don’t want to be fighting against THE XENOMORPH!!!!!
Is the planet round or is there just an edge to the map?
Currently there's an edge. The devs plan to expand the map, but I don't know if they plan to implement an entire round planet.
Looks fun, but with no map it does not look friendly for the directionally challanged...I can lose my bearings turning a corner.......
Can you place heaters and veggie tubes outside?
6 mins in and I already feel like deconstructing SOME parts of a wreck if not all should have been a thing in Subnautica. I'm really the digging the idea of recycling wrecks as it feels pretty realistic.
Technically you do with the metal salvage. Your drop pod is your only means of survival

Martian the video game starting Matt Damon we NEEED potatoes
need more of this plz upload 2 video next time :)
👍
🤔...I can already tell that you'd need to have some/several outposts (of various sizes) dotted across this planet.
With your building style, you’re gonna be screwed if they add structural integrity xD
Those poor stairs support so much weight xD
Lower gravity probably
You are looking for iron.... how about deconstructing all the storage crate?
Correction: subnatica titanium this game silicon and iron
Awesome
Out of curiosity, why does everyone put heaters inside the shelter?
Okay what- I looked at your playlist with the stuff and they added all of that??? Or did you just get a key???
“because solar panels only work at night”
Great Vid, but wish you would stream some of these on twitch a bit. Never really see you streaming at all.
With some aliens game x2 fun
Why you don't pickup all your stuff on that another house close to the spaceship
how do you turn on the light ?
Hey remember you left alot of seeds and stuff by the crash
Where's the void train
This looks like such a cool game sadly it's not early access on steam or anything.
Wow z so solar panels only work at night
you should of left the seeds and taken the plants you need to grow plants before growing food lol
cool
Such a RAD GAME...... and I'm totally on board with the NO ENEMIES.... I feel like it would truly ruin the game.
Keep'em coming Buddy 🤘🤘
My only question with his CONSTANT worrying about Power is if there is a Battery in the Tech Tree.
After playing it myself, there is no real day cycle. The solar panels always produce, 24/7. Also later in the game you can unlock nuclear power which greatly out produces the t2 solar panels
Don't add enemies, elements are the enemy
They are seeds whit oxygen multipliers: 150% 200% 300% ...
They are better
*'Installs solar panels'*
*"We're going to have power for days"*
that "space flashlight" sucks. you can do all these other fantastic things, but make a decent flashlight?

no monsters? aliens would be great? cant figure out out to get to 175000 ti and fabric
why do you need 175000 ti and fabric??
Mmmmm content
It's not Silicen it's Silicon
Would be great with a "prioritize" function, so if you don't have enough power, only the items missing power goes out.
Breakwater is that still a thing eneymor
He has been uploading videos on it. One of which was today
Oh
I am retarded pls forgive me your exalance
Id like to see them add a mode where you dont need o2 maybe like a creative or builder mode for those who like to just build or explore
Where is farming sim
