It's huge that JSN went to the Hawks too because he'll have Pete Carroll who is all about taking your best trait and having you focus on that. Pete will want him to run underneath routes from the slot and get down without taking hits. Geno Smith is spoiled with killer receivers
@@LoganGuerriero There’s a difference between being a full time slot receiver and a receiver who runs some routes from the slot. Full time slot receivers rarely lead their teams in receptions unless there’s no other competition at WR on their teams.
Lmao chill, I’m a Hawks fan but this team ain’t close to that caliber, YET! Team is headed in the right direction but still need a few pc’s to even be able to hang with the Eagles.
@@Tmatlow05 Between the Hawks and the Eagles, who has the better WR room? The better RB room? The better TE room? Our rookie tackles were amazing last year. I'll wait.
@@Tmatlow05 there is no pure "dominant" team in the NFC this year. 49ers have qb issues and i want to see Hurts back up his performance from last year. So the NFC is wide open and I think if we're healthy, we can beat anyone in the NFC besides maybe the Eagles
Yeah he slow, but we got Lockett and DK as our speedy WR at 1 and 2, while K9 will be setting up some sweet PA's for JSN as everyone brings the attention away from him, this guy will contiguously get us 1st downs and eat up 7-8 yards per play at YAC could be off the charts as well. Great fit for our system and he'll fill that role that Eskridge never could, which opens up our playbook! Bottom line, he'll eat cause DK and Tyler will command doubles, and he so smooth with getting behind defenders!
Don’t forget about Noah Fant, everyone is forgetting about that guy. He can catch too. I think he’s going to have a huge season with everyone trying to cover the trio of receivers and rb’s Seattle has.
Top end speed is overrated. Its not like its common for guys to score 60, 70 yard touchdowns all the time. I am completely fine with a bunch of 25-30 yard crisp routes.
Like James said, Edelman, Kupp and St. Brown. Not to mention Hill, Randall Cobb, and the list goes on... Don't know what you're trying to achieve with this comment
He’s not slow he just doesn’t have elite speed, not everyone can be fkin DK level athletes. JSN ran a faster 40 than Amon Ra by a significant margin if your only dig at a stupidly productive slot Wr is that he’s not a track star you clearly need to stop playing fantasy football.
Steve Smith was one of my favorite receivers and hearing his take on JSN is awesome.
I wasn't sure about jsn until I saw how good olave and Wilson were in NFL Jsn was clearly best wr in that room as underclassmen
Marvin Harrison Jr next year 🔥
Even Harrison knows JSN IS BETTER 💯
And both Wilson and Olave have said JSN is better than them both lol
JSN will be the next Devante Adams.
I think I can see talent. I know this gentleman can see it. Mr smith has the integrity to tell us for free. Thank you Mr smith for ur commentary
Love the insight from Steve Smith

Jsn will lead the team in receptions easily he’s gonna be used all across the middle
@@LoganGuerrieroNo way. It’s like y’all forget DK Metcalf is still on that team. And Tyler Lockett.
@@whatwhat9004 the slot receiver always leads the team in receptions just look at college with olave Jsn and Wilson all on the same team

Geno to JSN for the NFC championship next year. Great throw and catch. I can't wait.

Steve Smith 👍🏾
The comparison Steve gave to the New England dude was interesting ...damn forget his name...Edelman maybe...ya, how many games did he help finish ?
Definitely a couple afc championships and at least a superbowl. You don't know who Julian Edelman is?
@Andrew S
Ohh ya, I know of him...but when you hate New England Patriots....I usually use the F word for the names.
The hawks offense about to go off.

Spot on. Speed over 5-15 yards is where you get separation in the NFL.

Does he not play like Amon-Ra St Brown?
Reminds me of No-E
What about J Reed or J Hyatt?!
Hyatt will have his own video!
Love you Steve. I bought an 89 jersey
and you think he cares?

Hes a slot receiver. He can only have so much value.
Perfect for for the Seahawks. They have 2 great outside receivers with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

You deff don’t know football lol, SLOT receivers are fucking killers in the league
It hurts his value when it comes to contract negotiations. A primary slot receiver is not fetching 25mil-30mil a year.
Dude is slow. In that 1st highlight, 3 dudes ran him down.... including a linebacker.

Cornball acts like he’s faster
He is really good at running his routes, though
And getting 1st downs
Dude is so slow he is consistently open.
1600 yards without top end long speed and you are concerned, dude gets opens thats all you fucking need lmao
