Guys, this is exactly what America needs to see. You need to broadcast this everywhere. The hobby will grow immensely, and Karens will become an endangered species. Local governments will discover they better back off if they want to be elected again. Taking away a kids toy that teaches aeronautics, engineering, electronics, and keeps them out of trouble will not be tolerated. It will inspire a new generation of kids interested in technology just through being contagiously fun.
@@KenHeron Sorry Ken, I don't mean to bust your chops. You and your buds put the best vids ever, and I think you are one of the best FPV fliers around. I'll pull my "Mench " comments. Steve
Good to see that a TV channel is showing interest in FPV drones. This is the entertainment and learning process I was waiting for. Both of you are the best drone ambassadors.
Super ! Imagine, a live feed of a long flight streamed to a THEATER full of people who've PAID for a thrill ride - not unlike a rollercoaster ride - except that there is NO anticipation of direction by the crowd, that's purely pilot control.
Was at the park on Sunday and watched a father teach his 9 year daughter and she had a avata and she was amazing with it. I was flying my M3P and once I get confident I want to try FPV
This actually makes a great intro video into fpv. This is a showcase of what is possible in the hobby, especially from the eyes and testimony of a first time experience.
Man it's hard to fly my drone anymore now. I have restricted zones all over now.... Freaking sucks, didn't have them before and now we do.... I can even fly around my house now
Ken thanks for all the laughs. always fun and learned lots... looking buff joshua. again thanks to your assistance and help in the early years things are rocking.. From Mt Lassen watershed topography and digital maps to Montecito real estate accounts to zooming my 7 in everywhere in between. thumbs up!!! john munro
I can definitely relate to what that guy was feeling, I remember the first time a friend of mine was flying and I had on a spare set of goggles. To say that it was disconcerting is to simplify it too much. And when I got my own goggles and started flying I was only in angle mode, and that was confusing enough. Eventually I tried horizon mode and started doing flips, I thought it was the greatest thing ever lol. I’m still not a great flyer in acro mode, but I can at least usually do flips and rolls and manage to bring it back down in 1 piece. It’s a weird sensation at first though, and what bardwell put that guy through would have disoriented him so much that he was probably doing the right thing by staying down, otherwise he probably would have fallen over. Great video, both of you looked like you had fun putting it together and it was very funny.
I know right! especially in my case since they were like 20 mins away from me....btw I might be in your area near dirty myrtle around the 15th of April but it's not set in stone yet
That's how I felt the first time I flew an fpv drone. In fact, I had to fly sitting down for the first several sessions until I got my fpv legs. Now, when I'm flying, it's just my shoulders and head that bob around. My feet stay firmly planted.
Hahahahaha! I love your vids, Ken. Always so fun to watch. The Columbia guy was great too. How cool that they did this with you. Wish I had their show in Colorado, i'd watch it just from this vid.
Josh, completely unbothered by those guy wires. Me: Flew to a radio tower, suddenly see the wires. Become a 90 year old man crossing the street in Manhattan in moving traffic. Absolute deer in the headlights. So yep, that would be me needing to lie down or something.
Brought the man to his knees!
Indeed! 😎🤘
Yep! I saw that too. An audio and visual treat 🤪

Time for step 2

I couldn't agree more, and there are plans to do this with other news outlets. 🤓👍
"You've seen drones before, but have you seen drones...do this" had no idea what was coming! I'd be trying not to laugh if I was there.
You really took that Weatherman along for a wild ride. Great FPV flying, and very entertaining video. Thanks for sharing Ken.
"Do a slow forward roll".... does double back flip
This was awesome! Hahaha. Joshua and Ken make a great team! More please!!!🍺🍺👍
More to come!
This NEEDS to go on TV.
Stay safe there with your family, Ken! 🖖😊
They are creating a story with it at the TV station. I will share it on my live stream!
@@KenHeron Nice! It's going to be fantastic! 😃

Haven’t laughed at two talking heads so much since “Anchorman” 😂🤣😂
Great job! Thanks for representing well

Thank you Klaas!
I loved the incessant paper shuffling. Reminds me of 80's comedy.
We need to change FPV to Fighter Pilot View just feels better.
love that you're sharing the fpv hobby i really hope someday it will get bigger and maybe even kinda mainstream
Great Ending and Credits. But really the whole video is awesome start to finish. 👍👍
Ditto....this was epic!
It was AWSOME
The smile I needed this Monday morning!
This is the best "What is fpv" video ever. Definitely shareable. 😂
Love the Heron Bardwell colabs. ❤
for this weatherman the skys the limit, now back to you in the studio Ken!
Yea this should be a thing. Give people goggles and record the reactions.
Oh weve been giving ride-alongs for years...the BEST way to get permission from the police to fly somehwere is to put the goggles on em!
A combination showcase of indoor whoop/avata flight and outdoor ripping....this vid alone sums it up.
Super !

I need a news channel like this,
In the words of Chris Farley "That. Was. Awesome!"
Thank you kindly
Ken and Josh are the mashup the world needed. Love this tag team. :D
Man that was too much! I loved it. Can’t stop laughing 😂

Has to be one of my favorites! Great job Ken and JB!
I have a spare goggle set precisely to watch peoples minds blow in real time, a cop asked me for links to buy a kit 😂

Time for Ken to do drone reporting on the 📺 News.
One of your BEST videos so far of 2023 Ken! 👍👍👍 Start to finish

Wow, thanks!
Joshua is an AWESOME AWESOME guy, thanks for allowing him to share our hobby
Couldn't agree more!
This is why Ken is the best.
This is fantastic! Thank you Ken & JB. You’re superb representatives of our hobby/community. ❤️👍🇬🇧🤓
Ok so that was awesome Ken. Love it when you and Bardwell are together, it's always a funny video!.
Exactly why everyone should carry an extra pair of goggles when flying. Seeing and hearing people's first reaction to the FPV view is awesome
Really great video, Ken! 👍🏼👍🏼
Absolutely wonderful video. I love it when new people are introduced into what we do.
Easily the second best video you've ever made.
you guys had me dying laughing at this whole video.
Localised hurricane LOL
🤓
@@KenHeron Proud of you Ken. I would have done the same.
Cool vid. Bardwell approached the 'crash it' portion as well as you could have hoped for. Nice job.
man that concrete wall behind them had its name on it tho... drone got lucky, jb went easy and took pity
@@00fluxone ha, it did get a mention! (the wall)
Ken and JB make a perfect team

There's just something so fun seeing new people go for a ride in the goggles. Add JB into the mix & it's a real party now! 🤙🎉❤ Nice job you guys! 🥰
This just proves how much we rely on a single instinct or sense, try walking and flying 😂, I remember that feeling when I first flew 😂

You do the ultimate cool things! The Avata is seriously on my wish list.
Strongly recommend looking into other cinewhoop options, batteries are cheaper and you can repair whatever breaks at your own discretion
Super cool
honestly amazing! half the time I can't tell if you are joking or not which makes it hilarious
