I bought this phone about two weeks ago and though I keep seeing reviews that its disappointing since there is no headphone jack or charger included, still I am satisfied with my purchase. I came from a Redmi phone and I agree with what you said, iba talaga ang user experience sa Samsung. It may not be as impressive on papers if we will compare it with other brands, pero when you get to use it, thats when you will truly fall in love with it. For me, A73 5G is a phone that will give you a flagship experience on a budget.
Tama po kayo ganun din yung naexperience ko mula nung samsung na ginamit kung android phone, para kasing hindi rin worth it yung on papers ng ibang brand parang gimick din kasi di gaya sa samsung hindi nila nilagay on paper pero meron din naman silang features din pala nun. And of course yung ONE UI nila pinaka the best na UI na nagamit ko sa lahat ng android phones, plus may 4 years os updates and 5 years security updates pa sya. Kaya medyo natatakot din ako bumili ng phone sa ibang brand.
The snapdragon 800 series is normally reserved for flagship phones while the 700 series is for midrange phones. Since this phone is considered as upper midrange, I'm not really surprised with the use of snapdragon 778g...The processor is highly capable and is very battery efficient which is perfect for my use case.

Using A73 for a week now and I am satisfied with its performance..It's practical.Originally intended to buy the Z flip 4 or IPhone 14 but instead settled for a more utilitarian phone. I even got a free charger, speakers, case and P1000 discount. I got what I need from this phone (YT, Spotify,Netflix, boring stuff) and something more to buy with the savings I made with this phone. My little pet peeve for this phone is the lack of 3.5mm jack got a lot of IEMs but it's not a deal breaker for me will use an external dac instead or TWS (buti na lang meron pa SD slot) . Three things sets apart A73 from the rest of its price category ( not including the discounted s21fe) a very premium feeling UI, longevity and its software support . Overall if your looking for a low key phone that gets the job done at least on quasi flagship experience (not a gaming phone or anything niche). I think this is the phone for you.
I was torn between the S22 Ultra and the iPhone 13 Pro Max but I saw this beauty on display and I was blown away that it has almost flagship-level specs. This device exudes practicality and I bought it right away, not only did I save a lot of money but I get to enjoy its features that are just enough for me and it has been my daily driver without the bells and whistles.
Same here. I already made up my mind to buy an Iphone because I have another apple device but when I tried this phone, I realized that this is just what I need and server its purpose. So I ended up buying the unit even before watching this review :-)
I have this phone exact color as well. What i love about this phone is the night mode camera excellent color. I also played Mobile Legend works pretty good. Battery health is great on Android 12. The heating while gaming is around the camera area but minimal probably around 36 to 37°c
Been using Samsung Galaxy for around 10 years now, and I've been a fan of their Galaxy A series. Nag-start ako with Galaxy Y, nagamit ko siya nang mga 3 years din before ako bumili ng first Galaxy A ko which is yung A5(the 2015 one, from their sinaunang A series line up). Nagamit ko naman yon for 5 years kahit ba isang beses lang siya nagkaroon ng OS update 😂 performance is ok so napagtyagaan ko until 2020(pero may pagka-slow na that time & rom is no longer enough to run some of the apps), so doon nag-switch na ako to Galaxy A71. Now I still use my A71 na oks pa rin performance, aside sa games na makikitaan na ng pag-lag at high settings, especially Genshin. Medj tempted ako ngayon dito sa A73 5G kaso parang di naman ganon ka-laki for me yung improvements plus ok na ok pa rin naman 'tong A71 ko so I am gonna stick with this phone for a while longer, maybe until tumigil na ang Samsung sa pag-update ng OS nito(parang 3 years or 5 years yata yung plan na OS/security update for A71). Waiting na lang ako for Android 12 update coming this May! And also for future Galaxy A series, abang-abang na lang ulit ako ng review from Ms Mary since big help siya for me in making decisions pag usaping smartphone. :)
A71 din phone ko pero a few days ago biglang nag off then ayaw na mag on :( Di na bagsak or nabasa. Nag off bigla sa pocket ko so akala ko accidentally ko na power off. Nag on naman after pero mga less than 5 minutes nag off ulit and this time while I was using. Then ayaw na mag on ulit nag vivibrate pag i hold yung power and volume down and black screen. Pina check ko and sabi ng technician need daw replacement ng screen and around 8k. Really weird dahil di naman na bagsak, nabasa or overheat tapos sira nadaw yung screen. Wala nga kahit scratch yung screen dahil may screen protector. Really disappointing kaka update pa naman to Android 12 a few weeks ago then biglang nag black screen.
Had to go back here again after watching several phone reviews, finally nagka-new phone na rin ako at ito yung unit na yun. So, happy and thankyousomuch for the review, it really gives me the idea of the phone first before having it.
Alam mo ba Girl mary hindi po pwede ilagay ang fingerprint sa malapit gitna kasi battery na nasa gitna.. medyo makapal kasi ang optical fingerprint, kailangan nasa baba malapit charging board...
I currently own this a73 5g this jan 2023 definitely worth it and does the job plus good camera. I used to be always buying top spec phones since they became 'smart" but i only end up just using them for basic stuff so i went to mid range series phones since 2016. Much more practical for people like me who are not power users
I'm using my Samsung a71 until now,, and I never regret anything about it,, Samsung is the best in terms of display,, I enjoy watching movies and video,, in Netflix and other apps..
for the price and as a backup phone, not bad. no headphone jack isn't bothersome for some dude who uses DAC dongle most of the time if not wireless buds. still prefer this over some cheap brand devices. ☆☆☆☆
sulit naman talaga, wala nang pero pero kung sa lifespan ang usapan. Di tulad ng ibang phones yes maganda nga ang offer na specs sa mababang presyo pero di man lang tumagal kahit 2 or 3 years.

Sabi nga nung iba, mas mura yung entry level tapos iyon pa yung may power brick. Pero para sakin, yung pinaka disadvantage talaga nito ay yung headphone jack. Kasi midrange phone sya and most users ay gumagamit pa din naman ng headphones. I bought the Samsung Tab S7 FE Wifi version with the same chipset sya nito for 30k, buti na lang sa tablet section ni Samsung di nila sobrang tinipid. Siguro same package din ng mga ipads. I
galing ako sa highend phone(12promax) but so far di naman ako nadisappoint dito it still has everything i need, it help me saved a lot money to spend on other stuff as well.

A52 4g .gamit ko .subrang ganda after mag update ng u.i 4.1 software update.subrang smooth..lakas makasagap ng WiFi connection ..kahit nakiki WiFi kalang .sa camera naman .subrang wow kahit nasa lowlights .
Baliktad maam Mary "hindi lang naman software ang coconsider, pati ang chipset" instead, dapat "hindi lang naman chipset ang cinoconsider dito, dapat pati rin ang software". Kasi aanhin mo ang mga flagship specs kuno kung may nadedeadboot, nagfefreeze ung screen, nagooverheat at iba pang samut saring issue. Hindi mo rin siya magagamit ng maayos. Ang samsung binabalance niya, ung power at durability. Hindi lang sila basta salpak ng salpak ng kung ano anong mga high end chipset diyan. For example, magsasalpak ka diyan snapdragon 870, e kung ang cooling system naman ay hindi ganun kalakas, paano na lang magiging temperature niyan? Parang pwede ka na magprito sa likod ng phone mo kung ganyan.
Kaya nga!!! Ang daming nagrereklamo sa A73 na to kesyo panget daw at mahal. Syempre para sa iba na manggagaling sa outdated na Aseries or Jseries (or kahit anong old android phones) malaking upgrade to. Mejo pricey kase binibili mo din yung name ng brand. For me, this is a decent phone. It works fine i was using a32 then upgraded to this., maayus sya ofc depende sa consumer pa rin. Di ko alam bakit daming nega na comments eh for me ang ganda naman talaga ng phone. If ever na you are using A52 or A71 up- i dont think nga na maeenjoy mo cguro for me di pa worth it mag upgrade if thats the case. Better wait for the next new phone na ilalaunch nila. ❤️

I got mine samsung A73 5g 256g highly recommended...iba talaga si Samsung compare to other brand...sabihin na natin overprice pero worth it naman sa performance...meron din ibang brand ang ganda ng specs kung basahin pero sa actual ang pangit gamitin...
As per paper..2 days to last ang battery, if not used..😁 But actual used, as per review..14hrs only in a day to last..normal use of FB, messenger, youtube, whatsApp.. But overall, still good phone..lalo na sa IP67 rating water proof..👍👍👍
Since 5th grade. from phones to tabs tv or what. always kami nakasamsung. Very insired kami sa quality and alam naming tatagal siya. never tried pther brands since for me eto na talaga yung masasabi kong pinakatatagal sakin though mas mahal siya tapos medyo mababa specs compared to others pero still❤️
Wala man siyang headphone jack pero yung software support niya na 4 years android upgrades at 5 years security patches, at ikaw yung hindi laging pala-palit ng Phone, sobrang sulit na nitong phone na ito.
Thank you for the review. Budget consideration this phone works in a very utilitarian and good way. However in the review the chipset was labeled non-future proof because a "predicted" future apps would be so demanding this will not be suitable anymore. What apps are you talking about? VR? 3D rendering apps? games? There are toy cellphones from Oppo, Xiaomi, OnePlus etc. that are with higher specs chips and way more expensive but makes no sense for practical users. I am sure all the forced marketing strategies make reviewing phones profitable but common-sense people will find this phone enough. Let the toy users and social climbers spend for devices most will never be maxing out. Peace!
Almost 8 months na since we bought my (last and final I guess😹) na smartphone which is this Samsung A73 5G and I must say worth it yung almost 30K for my daily use palang for my studies and also for my leisure. Camera wise solid rin and yung specs niya goods for over all performance. Looking forward to the next years A series ng samsung but I settled (for now) in my A73 5G. Maganda nga sana, willing ako i-overlook ang kawalan ng headphone jack dahil may wireless earbuds naman na ako at usb-c adaptors pero ang medyo masakit ay bukod sa may mga inalis gaya ng charger at telephoto lens, tumaas pa ang price nya despite using a 2021 mid-range SoC.

No headphone jack. No FM Radio. I think you can use a headphone if you buy a type c headphone connector. My main reason that is why I like the A series is its headphone jack and FM radio. Imagine listening to FM radio without consuming data is good. And no worries not being able to charge your wireless headphones. If ganito lang na walang headphone jack at FM radio. Bili na lang ako ng S22+. Kasi halos the same lang dahil wala na rin ang magandang features. Di tulad ng A72. May FM radio at headphone jack. Wala lang 5G. Kaya Im sticking to my Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro na matagal na pero worth it.

Mary Bautista that chipset is plentiful enough for the A73. If you’ll compare it to the A72’s chipset, also take note the Nothing Phone 1 is also using that chipset, keep in mind that chipset is no slouch, it has four cortex A78 cpus. Before you undermine everything do your research properly.
Watching this review from a Lenovo S5 pro and Samsung J7 prime devices. 😊 Yung Samsung J7 prime ko nabili ko last May 2017 for P13k+. Ilang ulit nang nahulog at nabagsak sa lupa, semento, tiles at WORST, nahulog sa balde ng tubig pero hanggang ngayon buhay na buhay pa rin. Kaya di talaga ako magsisising bumili ng Samsung kasi yung specs at quality niya, proven and tested na. 😊

I'm really disappointed with samsung A series. Nung bagong labas ang A50 and A50s Wala pang 2 years nasira na. Then Bumili ako ng A71. Wala pa din 2 years nasira na. Nakakapanghinayang lang kasi tuwing nasisira tapos na sa warranty.
been using this phone for almost a year now and I really satisfied esp. the camera, battery, fast charging, dual speaker, and AMOLED display. Downside lang talaga ang no headphone jack. Hindi magandang option ang adapter kaya I have to buy bluetooth earphones. Another disadvantage is the sim tray. I want to have a external memory card but I have to compromise on having 2 sim cards. Its bittersweet na this is the last A7+ series that they gonna release.
Yes until now i'm still using samsung a7 2018 iba padin ang experience pag samsung ung brand ng phone. Matibay naka ilang laglag na. Maganda din for gaming and ung storage sapat lang sakin. Pero katagalan sa camera ako hindi satisfied dahil madami ng nag labasan na mas maganda ang quality ng camera. Overall still torn and undecided to buy a new phone. My samsung a7 2018 is perfectly working and still smooth.

hello po, di ko alam kung ako lang. i bought my samsung a73 1 week ago. pero napansin ko na may glitching horizontal line sya sa upper part ng phone screen. di naman sya ganun ka visible pero pag tiningnan mo ng mabuti, mahahalata mo sya. di ko naman sya nabagsak o nabasa pero kapag binababaan yung brightness, nakikita yung parang glitch lines
Dalawa I option ko samsung a73 and huawei nova 9. Pero pagkakita ko sa Huawei nova 9. Na inlove ako kahit walang google super ganda. May 3rd party naman Gapp parang may google nadin ako.. I still considered samsung in future.

Alam mo ba Girl mary hindi po pwede ilagay ang fingerprint sa malapit gitna kasi battery na nasa gitna.. medyo makapal kasi ang optical fingerprint, kailangan nasa baba malapit charging board...

I currently own this a73 5g this jan 2023 definitely worth it and does the job plus good camera. I used to be always buying top spec phones since they became 'smart" but i only end up just using them for basic stuff so i went to mid range series phones since 2016. Much more practical for people like me who are not power users
I'm using my Samsung a71 until now,, and I never regret anything about it,, Samsung is the best in terms of display,, I enjoy watching movies and video,, in Netflix and other apps..
Cons:No Headphone Jack Snapdragon 778 only plastic back plastic frame 5,000 mAh only no charger in the box really disappoint 😏😏😏
for the price and as a backup phone, not bad. no headphone jack isn't bothersome for some dude who uses DAC dongle most of the time if not wireless buds. still prefer this over some cheap brand devices. ☆☆☆☆

Sabi nga nung iba, mas mura yung entry level tapos iyon pa yung may power brick. Pero para sakin, yung pinaka disadvantage talaga nito ay yung headphone jack. Kasi midrange phone sya and most users ay gumagamit pa din naman ng headphones.
I bought the Samsung Tab S7 FE Wifi version with the same chipset sya nito for 30k, buti na lang sa tablet section ni Samsung di nila sobrang tinipid. Siguro same package din ng mga ipads. I

A52 4g .gamit ko .subrang ganda after mag update ng u.i 4.1 software update.subrang smooth..lakas makasagap ng WiFi connection ..kahit nakiki WiFi kalang .sa camera naman .subrang wow kahit nasa lowlights .

Kasi aanhin mo ang mga flagship specs kuno kung may nadedeadboot, nagfefreeze ung screen, nagooverheat at iba pang samut saring issue. Hindi mo rin siya magagamit ng maayos. Ang samsung binabalance niya, ung power at durability. Hindi lang sila basta salpak ng salpak ng kung ano anong mga high end chipset diyan. For example, magsasalpak ka diyan snapdragon 870, e kung ang cooling system naman ay hindi ganun kalakas, paano na lang magiging temperature niyan? Parang pwede ka na magprito sa likod ng phone mo kung ganyan.

Kaya nga!!! Ang daming nagrereklamo sa A73 na to kesyo panget daw at mahal. Syempre para sa iba na manggagaling sa outdated na Aseries or Jseries (or kahit anong old android phones) malaking upgrade to. Mejo pricey kase binibili mo din yung name ng brand. For me, this is a decent phone. It works fine i was using a32 then upgraded to this., maayus sya ofc depende sa consumer pa rin. Di ko alam bakit daming nega na comments eh for me ang ganda naman talaga ng phone. If ever na you are using A52 or A71 up- i dont think nga na maeenjoy mo cguro for me di pa worth it mag upgrade if thats the case. Better wait for the next new phone na ilalaunch nila. ❤️

Thank you for the review. Budget consideration this phone works in a very utilitarian and good way. However in the review the chipset was labeled non-future proof because a "predicted" future apps would be so demanding this will not be suitable anymore. What apps are you talking about? VR? 3D rendering apps? games? There are toy cellphones from Oppo, Xiaomi, OnePlus etc. that are with higher specs chips and way more expensive but makes no sense for practical users. I am sure all the forced marketing strategies make reviewing phones profitable but common-sense people will find this phone enough. Let the toy users and social climbers spend for devices most will never be maxing out. Peace!
Almost 8 months na since we bought my (last and final I guess😹) na smartphone which is this Samsung A73 5G and I must say worth it yung almost 30K for my daily use palang for my studies and also for my leisure. Camera wise solid rin and yung specs niya goods for over all performance. Looking forward to the next years A series ng samsung but I settled (for now) in my A73 5G.

Maganda nga sana, willing ako i-overlook ang kawalan ng headphone jack dahil may wireless earbuds naman na ako at usb-c adaptors pero ang medyo masakit ay bukod sa may mga inalis gaya ng charger at telephoto lens, tumaas pa ang price nya despite using a 2021 mid-range SoC.

No headphone jack. No FM Radio. I think you can use a headphone if you buy a type c headphone connector. My main reason that is why I like the A series is its headphone jack and FM radio. Imagine listening to FM radio without consuming data is good. And no worries not being able to charge your wireless headphones. If ganito lang na walang headphone jack at FM radio. Bili na lang ako ng S22+. Kasi halos the same lang dahil wala na rin ang magandang features. Di tulad ng A72. May FM radio at headphone jack. Wala lang 5G. Kaya Im sticking to my Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro na matagal na pero worth it.

Mary Bautista that chipset is plentiful enough for the A73. If you’ll compare it to the A72’s chipset, also take note the Nothing Phone 1 is also using that chipset, keep in mind that chipset is no slouch, it has four cortex A78 cpus. Before you undermine everything do your research properly.

Yung Samsung J7 prime ko nabili ko last May 2017 for P13k+. Ilang ulit nang nahulog at nabagsak sa lupa, semento, tiles at WORST, nahulog sa balde ng tubig pero hanggang ngayon buhay na buhay pa rin.
Kaya di talaga ako magsisising bumili ng Samsung kasi yung specs at quality niya, proven and tested na. 😊

I'm really disappointed with samsung A series. Nung bagong labas ang A50 and A50s Wala pang 2 years nasira na. Then Bumili ako ng A71. Wala pa din 2 years nasira na. Nakakapanghinayang lang kasi tuwing nasisira tapos na sa warranty.

been using this phone for almost a year now and I really satisfied esp. the camera, battery, fast charging, dual speaker, and AMOLED display. Downside lang talaga ang no headphone jack. Hindi magandang option ang adapter kaya I have to buy bluetooth earphones. Another disadvantage is the sim tray. I want to have a external memory card but I have to compromise on having 2 sim cards. Its bittersweet na this is the last A7+ series that they gonna release.

Yes until now i'm still using samsung a7 2018 iba padin ang experience pag samsung ung brand ng phone. Matibay naka ilang laglag na. Maganda din for gaming and ung storage sapat lang sakin. Pero katagalan sa camera ako hindi satisfied dahil madami ng nag labasan na mas maganda ang quality ng camera. Overall still torn and undecided to buy a new phone. My samsung a7 2018 is perfectly working and still smooth.

hello po, di ko alam kung ako lang. i bought my samsung a73 1 week ago. pero napansin ko na may glitching horizontal line sya sa upper part ng phone screen. di naman sya ganun ka visible pero pag tiningnan mo ng mabuti, mahahalata mo sya. di ko naman sya nabagsak o nabasa pero kapag binababaan yung brightness, nakikita yung parang glitch lines
