The beautiful red haired one is Anni-Frid Lynstad, known as Frida. Her voice was like velvet, and she was the classiest lady to ever grace a stage. Wonderful woman who supported so many causes, and was always there to help anyone.

He's always smiling when he watches the other band members, it's like he's starstruck by them. Even in some of the breakup videos like "Knowing Me, Knowing You" and "One of Us", he can't be completely sad.

Hey my man Chase ! your a Super Trouper for this one ! ... the song title refers to that giant spot light used on stage, concerts. ABBA originally wanted to shoot the music video at London's Piccadilly Circus but the London authorities nixed that idea afraid it would cause way too much public commotion so the video was created and filmed in a Swedish studio.

thank you for this video and return with your reaction and comments to ABBA songs
I was one of those who request these song,
when You did "The winner takes it all" long time ago
    "Super trouper" (1980)
was the nine and last single #1 to ABBA in UK ; and it was the #1 (with the album too) the day than the iconic John Lennon was murder
and is the second most selling ABBA song in UK
    (only behind Dancing Queen)
It's the opening track in Their seventh album "Super Trouper" , that was #1 too in UK and several countries of all continents
This album included the most heartbroken song
"The winner takes it all" ,
it shows how versatily ABBA is, two songs different in style and lyrics and lead singer, and worldwide hit too
in "Súper Trouper" you can hear clear the brunette Frida amazing sweet as a lead singer, the blonde Agnetha fantastic in second voice (as could see specialy in the second verse of the official video), and a beautiful melody with power and catchy chorus (with 'a capela' parts)
"Super Trouper" is in my Top10 of ABBA songs.
and my Top5 of Frida as lead voice in ABBA songs
(in fact, is My favourite with Frida leads in ABBA)
Another great song with Frida in lead voice
wich have an official video is
    "One man one woman" (1977)
    but first You must do
    "Knowing me knowing You" (1976/1977)
a worldwide hit and classic heartbroken song
See you in the next video to ABBA songs
My best regards to You from
    Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷
    South America

I am so excited watching your ABBA education and can't wait for you to discover more of their huge catalogue. Another great artist to add to your list is the late Olivia Newton-John. She was friends with ABBA as they had both been contestants in the same year of the Eurovision Song Contest. ABBA later appeared on a special show of Olivia's in the US. She started as a country girl but hit mega stardom following her role in the film Grease. Songs like Physical, Twist of Fate, Little More Love were more up beat but her ballads like Hopelesly Devoted To You and I Honestly Love You will break your heart. She battled cancer for over 20 years, but continued to work throughout and raised millions for charity. She was also a friend of Karen Carpenter. We sadly lost Olivia in August 2022.

Great reaction! I love Super Trouper too! ✨
The other guy's name is Björn. It rhymes with "burn" or "yearn" (not "born" or "corn", the ö is a different letter than o), so if you is able to put a y-sound in "burn", or say a "b" before the word "yearn" like "b-yearn" you're close. Björn means "bear" in Swedish. His last name is Ulvaeus. Ulv is an old word for "wolf" so his name is almost like "Bear Wolfeus"... 🐻🐺

Thank you for reacting to Super Trouper Chase. This is the title song from their 1980 Album of the same name which I consider their best Album ever. During the Chorus, it's their use of synthesizers and meticulous sound design that brings this song to another level. Frida's lead vocals are flawless, and the blend of her and Agnetha's voices is otherworldly. I was 18 when this Album came out, and I remember declaring "I'm hearing the future! " I also recommend "Lay All Your Love on Me" from this Album, a synth heavy dance track that will launch you to another dimension. Keep up the great work Chase. I'm so glad younger generations are experiencing the ABBA magic. This makes me smile!

Björn's songwriting genius: "when I called you last night from Glasgow" - almost certainly the only place in the world that rhymes with 'last show'. Plus it's a pretty cold, miserable place to be when you're alone (can be a fun place too, don't hate me Scots). Perfection.

Great reaction buddy! Two fun facts for you... ABBA wanted to film this video in London' Piccadilly Circus, but the council rejected the application as they wanted to have a lion there, plus they were worried about crowd volume given the bands popularity. I recommend you react to Andante Andante (which is from this album), Benny's piano playing is outstanding, plus Frida's voice is amazing especially when she holds a note for like 16 seconds!

The last song composed to the same name album 1980. Accidently SuperTrouper means 'spotlight' fits the video cirkus theme. Very unique groovy synth bass line in the chorus. After 70's, their whole style all from the clothes, hairdo not to mention music (more synth used) has changed and was about set a standard to 80's music. Sometimes pity young gen. not reacting as chronocical order to discover how their sound developed from early 70's to this peak of their production, before 1982 split... before 2021 come back.

Btw '70s 'Take a chance on me" and '80s 'Super Trouper" are Abba daring an accapella intro in their singles.

I saw it in the mirror from their first album in 1973 seems to be a song not that liked. I don't mind it myself though.

Ok i don't blame you cause i'm also not really keen on the kid's choir but love the rest of it plus Frida's delivery esp from the live version ,so warming.
