Very informative and gives me a better understanding. I have trained in the Bujinkan style and there is a vast number of techniques and skills. Lots of knowledge when you got nine schools.
Also in togakure ryu there is the shinobi gaeshi gata which are methods of how to escape pursuing attackers, there is the use of metsubishi (blinding powder) and senban (throwing stars). There is also sky knowledge for navigation and weather, earth knowledge of understanding terrain and environment, horsemanship water techniques and much more.
Thanks guys. The headmaster of bujinkan and Japanese shihan know stuff about the 3 ryu gikan, kumogakure and gyokushin ryu I just haven't seen any credible written material from the western world. Also there is most likely more to some of the ryu than I mentioned I just haven't experienced it yet so was mostly commenting on what I knew off the top of my head in the moment. Thanks Duncan for giving me this opportunity to share some of our art.
There is a recent book written by peter king called amatsu tatara hichibuken goshinjutsu which contains more knowledge than I could give on the subject of the healing methods. Definitely worth checking out if your interested. I will go through some different weapon stuff next time. 😊
Tbh on this channel we concern ourselves more with what they actually do and less about what people call what they do. Ultimately its irrelevant, what matters is the integrity of the people and their motivation

Really interesting to hear how they draw from so many sources. I wonder if other arts do this but keep it quiet?
Good question!

An old man in Iga here in Japan told me there was a tenth secret school..
who knows eh? It's a secret.
@@AIKIDOSILVERDALE haha indeed ;)
Do you offer in person training?
Yes, I hope you are Auckland based though otherwise it could be a long trip lol?
@@AIKIDOSILVERDALE well i don't mind travelling.😅
Can I learn ninjutsu?
If you want to. Try googling "Local ninjutsu clubs" lol
@@AIKIDOSILVERDALE all of them are very far and some are obviously fake
Not really the sort of thing you can learn online really I'm afraid
interesting
Martial Arts or Bujutsu not define the "Shinobi no Jutsu", called modernly Ninjutsu... The ninjutsu is only a job, not a method of fight...

conglomarate?
It means "a mixture of" roughly speaking lol
