- 10 Thousand dollars is our parts budget for this 2019 Ford F-450 Platinum rebuild!!! We pretty much purchased everything we need to get this thing rebuilt. We are hoping to get it done and back together as soon as possible, so we can rip big bertha around. This is going to be an epic build, so stay tuned and thanks for watching!!!

They need better quality jumper cables to I seen those dollar store things they was useing

Some insurance companies like can insure multiple vehicles for a nice discount.

I LOVE it! It was the 128th to come off the line and we have had it since October 2018. I didn’t expect it to be my daily driver but that’s exactly what it is!

That belt "whine" from starting FORD was bcause ur empty batteries...Alternator gets so much load to charge them and gets belt slipping a bit...no need to worry about it I think so
That's how you can kill alternator pretty quick, battery should be charged.
@@waszkowiec how do u work that out, an alternator runs the car and charges the battery so a flat battery wont harm an alternator, all a battery does is turn the starter over

@@fazeulla-britta3662 Dealing that almost every workday, I'm a technician and working with trucks everyday, the symptoms are pretty similar...even new belt keeps whining when engine is cold and batteries are empty...ofc in this case there can be some other issue as well but lets keep in mind its quite new truck...Your LOL sounds so unfamiliarly here

You guys should check out the clear plastic covering the airbags. It's not a normal plastic and see if the two of you could tear a piece of that plastic without any sharp objects. It is designed to encapsulate the airbag if it goes off in the package

Try rebuilding the highest mile car you can find, try 300k plus. Doesn’t have to be salvage you could build the motor and rip it!

You ought to evaluate what skills you lack or have minimal know-how. For example, rebuilding engines and transmissions. With older cars you can get into rebuilding carburetors. Also, extensive body work to include use of the English wheel rollers and anvils to fabricate your own body parts.
Think of what you want to do in 3-5 years. Do you want to be creative customisers like George Barris, Bill Hines, Chip Foose, and Singer?

I agree. It's a waste of money to replace perfectly good wheels for example.
The wheel tire combination on the 450’s are also how it has its towing capacity.

K P I agree that a stock 450 Platinum is special. I can’t wrap my head around blacking out the truck and wheels. However, it ain’t my truck! They made a “Donk” out of the GMC so I’m pretty sure of the direction they will go.

I AGREE 100% with TOUCHE PADRE 52 that like the GMC is the top of the line TRUCK it is the most costly TRUCK too either one of them the GMC or the FORD but REST ASSURE the FORD will cost a world of a lot more than the GMC due to the TRUCK it is

That sound was the serpintine belt squealing because the batteries are discharged a!ternator is charging on full.

Not necessarily true platinum and king ranch is there best packages ford has for a truck which gives you all the bells and whistles you would want on a vehicle! But yes the platinums do look good the way they are!
No black it out. The platinum is the upgraded interior and stuff but blacked out platinums looks so good
How? There are way more features that come with it that makes it a platinum. Just by blacking it out doesn't take away from the trim level

Thought the platinum meant it comes with all accessories etc not the color? Like the king ranch a xlt or limited. Havent googled it bc im lazy but i always thought that was what the platinum/etc meant

You are correct , not sure why "GAMERBOY" thought your comment was so funny. Goonzquad is fun to watch, but they don't really follow proper repair procedures. A rough pull should be done on the entire front end before they start removing structural parts, which the apron is.

@@benny2765 I just watched the first 8 minutes of the next video and they removed both aprons and the lower core support with no pull what so ever. These guys are fun to watch and usually things work out okay, but they do not follow "normal" repair procedures very often.

My favorite build so far!!!
Do gloss black door handles, get some Morimoto XB LED headlights, tint the tail lights black, tinted windows, leveling kit (don’t lift, keep the towing capability), get some aftermarket gloss black dueley wheels) just slightly larger tire (toyo open country A/T 2). Fully delete the truck, 5 inch straight pipe, and custom tune 👌🏼
DON'T do anything black, keep it as it is.. it looks great in this stock platinum look.
It pains me that the duramax tailgate is still messed up.

SierraSltGmc that’s a myth you can add bigass tires and badass lift and still tow no problem. I’ve done it myself with a 30foot travel trailer and I always see badass trucks towing bigass toyhaulers in sand no problem. The Duramax looks clean quit hating bud
