Southern Turkey: Ghost town of Kayakoy

What a cool place to walk around. We parked for free on the side of the road nearby, walked in and never had to pay an entrance fee. We also didn't see an official entrance or any signs but followed others walking in. So, from our experience, it was free to enter.
You could probably spend a whole day here as there were so many areas to explore. I don't even think we saw half of what there was here to see. This was a last-minute, quick trip we did at the end of another day so we didn't have too much time to spend unfortunately. But, it was definitely worth seeing as it is a super interesting place with a lot of history.
Make sure you wear good walking shoes and explore the many abandoned buildings and churches. Also make sure to check out the awesome views from the highest houses.
