    I feel like they both are dope in they own unique ways the Asr10 sounds like it got a warmth Punch to it when the drum break drops and the 2500 sounds louder than the Asr10 when those drums drop , I think is just a Weapon of choice at the end of the day ! Thanks for the video @FaT TrAk

    Mpc sounds more musical to my ears 👂 ASR but more warm but less clarity.

    Sounds like the 2500 has a reverb on it not really that much of a difference I even thought the asr 10 was gonna sound warmer but can't tell and I have both samplers

      No reverb on anything. I recorded everything dry into the samplers and into pro tools. And exported after truncating. Thank you for your reply and for tuning in 📺 🤙🏽 🙏

    Well if you don’t boost or normalize it attenuates by 12 db when sampling. The manual even says to get the full dynamic range for the machine it’s advised get the sample how you want then normalize it. With boost being a basic quick preview of unattenuated. Thanks anyway though. Funny enough the 2500 is what everyone said had no sound before same w 2k😂
    It does this on purpose btw since it can resample itself, when you resample it, the machine auto enable the boost / max to get your full range back instead of cutting the db another 12. So if you normalize / boost it again the dynamics shouldn’t even be close with these 2 machines. Same w 2k. The 4000 may have a shot though.

      Thank you for your knowledgeable comment I agree with you that the 4k is the closest and am blessed to own them both. Thanks for tuning in 📺 🤙🏽 💥

      @@FaT_TrAk no worries, hope you get back to making content again! Saw your stuff quite a long time ago, fit it in if ya can! Btw I’m sure you know this but you have a bootleg “boost” on the 2000xl also, your master db through mixer drum program or even a way to boost coming in. You can 12 db bump the 2000xl and then use boost in the asr to get a decent comp, you’ll see a bit more how they handle the punishment better. 2k will be a bit more harsh, asr will be smooth which is why it’s dope. The 2k will be very up front as you know and mid heavy on drum punch.

      @NinoTritone 💯 % gonna keep making more content. Got a new series called digging with strangers check it out sometime 🤙🏽 I’m also cooking some food 🥘. Yep I knew that one about the xL but haven’t applied it I’ll definitely try it out. Thanks for checking back 🙏🏽 and for checking way back 🤙🏽 📺

    For some reason when sampling into my 2500 the sound is thin. Maybe it could be a cable issue idk

    • @FaT_TrAk
      @FaT_TrAk  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Or the turntable mixer you’re using. I use a rane ttm56 with a technic 1200 turntable and an ortofon needle which gives me the best results

    • @SolidKampSounds
      @SolidKampSounds 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FaT_TrAk my turntable has built in premamp so I don’t need a mixer. I’m using the audio technica lp120..the sound I get sampling into my Mpc X sounds beautiful but as soon as I run samples into my 2500 the sound is thin & i have to max out my rec gain just to get a decent signal..idk man

      @FaT_TrAk  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @SolidKampSounds that’s crazy 🤔 maybe it maybe the record 1/4 input on the mpc 😬 or the cables like you said. I wish you all the best man 🤙🏽

    ASR 10 has a more controlled dynamic range. The highs on the 2500 and the phasing on the drum pattern was irritating to my ears.
