This " IS THE KEY" we all have looked so long for...I wish I had said " a game changer" because this is the absolute meaning of this "Soloing on guitar method " Stiched " brilliantly together!

This may be the most important guitar lesson that I have seen in years on any online platform! You could not have conveyed this information any better. When you illustrate with your playing and explain the changes, it really highlights the ideas. Extremely valuable lesson!

After watching this, you remember countless blues solos you've heard are patterned this way. It's like most others are teaching you how to dig a hole by showing you dirt and different holes, while he's showing you how to wield a shovel.

I’ve been playing for 3 years, background as a trainer in an unrelated field. This video has all the elements of great instruction, incl. learning benefits, application, examples and explanation all delivered in an extremely concise, succinct, understandable and memorable manner. The best 14 mins of guitar instruction I have watched on TH-cam. Thank you.

Ian, I rarely comment on any page...I am a big fan having taken up the instrument a year ago to fulfill a lifelong dream at age 52...you have many classics...but as an aspiring blues soloist who is working on improvisation...this is the most accessible, best video I have seen on how to solo around a 12-bar blues...it is a template one can use over and over again to create novel solos...you have truly taught us how to fish, not given us a fish...bravo!

Imma tell y'all something. This man is doing it the RIGHT way. I'm already an experienced musician (both in guitar and bass), but that doesn't mean I'm too "advanced" to watch these videos. Going back to the basics is essential regardless of the performance level of a musician, whomever it may be. Keep it like that StitchMethod: real, simple, and alive.

As my first ever TH-cam comment, I just wanted to say thank you. I’m 44, just getting back into guitar in the last couple months. Last time I picked up a guitar I owas 18 and this video has opened my eyes to how music should sound and how improv/scale soloes should link together. It was the missing link for me and has confirmed my rekindled love for being able to create music. Subscribed and plan to watch ALL your vids. Thanks again.
