DLo is by far our best shooter

Dlo is probably our best shooter. Last year Rui had the highest shooting percentage from 3. Nevertheless I’m not certain that we’ll see Rui at 42 percent again this year. DLo will probably be close to 41 percent again this season. We hear that Rui and DLo are our best trade assets. Don’t get why we want to trade our 2 best shooters.

They definitely are unless Reaves remembers how to shoot again and we will see what Knecht and Christie do. If they can do their best shooting impression it could make them easier to justify a trade. The issue is they are our 2 highest tradeable salaries.

AIS player analysis videos are accurate and unbiased. Russell is the only guard facilitator on the squad replacing his skills will be tough. AR is more replaceable plenty of wings and guards can score.

Appreciate you, I genuinely try to evaluate them as the players they are. Dlo has just been better (outside the playoffs) which is a concern obviously but if you can get that 3rd option dlo ailments won't be as bad

DLO is definitely is our best shooter. Also he’s really only one other than Bron who can pass the ball to AD perfectly.

I don’t see us moving from Dlo. Why should we? He’s a good player that can take over a game. He’s also our best shooter. Makes no sense unless we getting an allstar level player back

Lakers don’t have a choice but to keep him nobody else wants him whatever they could possibly get for him won’t be as good as him

He is an expiring which will have value at the deadline but yes I agree, if it's not for atleast equal or more longterm value might as well keep him

I do like Dlo... BUT we gave him grace the 2nd year and he pulled the same thing again! Cant trust him when it matters is what it is. I agree with you, we would need other players to mask his shortcomings when it matters so we aren't depending on his output. Jeremy Grant would be good if we had to keep Dlo but If not... Zach Lavine all day!

I believe if you can get a "3rd" option and now dlo is the 4th you'd be great. When he's on your likely winning every game but when he's off you can still win games. Dlo was better this last time against Denver than the previous year which is a good sign going forward. Dlo wasn't this perennial playoff player before the Lakers and as with all things the more you experience something the more confident and comfy you get

@@AsItStandsLakers To me, his biggest shortcoming is his commitment. He's too focused on the bag vs winning. But he wants to win and he wants a home, he just needs to shut up and work on his shortcomings to get better. He reminds me of Kuzma... always distracted.

@@mindbendrr How did you determine that? I see people constantly talk about things like him not being smart, or not working hard, and specifically speaking about his character. But you see him working on his game when he fails and showing that he wants to win and be better. Where do you guage a :only care about the bag " attitude. He could easily play for a losing team and just put up numbers for money if that was the case.

@@akaspon1 Its the little things i observe him do characteristic of someone Im describing. Granted, I am making an assumption. Players dont describe him as a focused player, when he's challenged he "looks" like he gets in his feelings where it impacts his play tremendously, his first year after games he was so focused on marketing his drink despite not being able to. You're in LA, play well and ur drink will sell itself. He's a veteran in the league and in the playoffs ur still servin doughnuts? I can score zero in a game, no excuse for that.

@@mindbendrr Fair. But if you are going to based things on perception, I would suggest maybe digging a little deeper if you care to? People like Draymond, D Book, Lebron, KD, etc. promote their brands and products too, but you don't equate that to them not caring about winning? What I have seen is that the things you say are perceived about him, he is one of the few players I seen want to address those things and ultimately winning dispels most perceptions (not all, look at Jason Tatum!). I think he is a talented person who is not talented enough to be a star, but talented enough to have a big impact and he struggles with being a CONSISTENT star in his actual role imo. Defensive focus needs to be his biggest area of actual improvement!

Dlo was better but wasn’t at the same time year 2 vs Denver , he had 0 in game 3 he didn’t do shit game 5 and game 1 so we had a great game 2 and a solid game 4 which is sad bcz we could’ve easily beat Denver

    • @AsItStandsLakers
      @AsItStandsLakers  หลายเดือนก่อน

Dlo definitely has playoff issues and concerns but I have hope if he's around for the Playoffs he can continue too improve and get more comfy during the playoffs. Before the Lakers he wasn't this perennial playoff player and as with all things the more experience you get the more comfortable you get

@@AsItStandsLakers problem is we don’t have time and rui shot 42 from 3 last year to be a brick fest all 5 games vs Denver this year so idk if I can rely on rui and Dlo at all and with that in mind we lose every year

Bench DLO start Reaves ... Could use Dlo's scoring off the bench, just because someone Is benched doesn't mean they can't play starter minutes
