But what if the kids see it and ask what the word fuck means. Imagine seeing it as '...Go fluff yourself a new pillow and shove it up your ass before you sleep in it next time.' how is that?
The whole "throwing perfectly good food away" BS is because too many "homeless" people tried to make a quick buck by suing the companies for "giving them food poisoning from the free food they gave them"
@@eddmario it's more than possible, even ignoring WHY the food gets discarded, there's a significant amount of time that takes place between the restaurant no longer considering using the food and the food getting to the shelters/mouths
That's why the best course of action would be to set up programs with waivers to sign for said homeless people, cause like, oh a HOMELESS person will take a huge gamble to maybe not be homeless, shocker. That's why we should accommodate and set programs up with rules and warnings and protections in place. So right back to where we started, companies will never actively do that because they don't make money from giving away food
Yea especially at restaurants, alot, if not all the food that gets thrown away at night has either expired or has been sitting around all day. It would be like scraping a dead squirrel off the road and handing it over. None of it is good and is why it's being thrown out. And if there is anything that is good employees just get it anyways.
12:37 Not sure if this actually makes sense, but this could actually be even scummier than it seems, if that's possible. My theory for why the chairs are there is so that the company can still abide by regulations requiring them to have chairs, even though they aren't allowed to actually sit in them in practice.
17:33 this been talked to death in healthcare safety, unfortunately you can't donate extra food for the homeless, because one of them can claim was something on the food, and sue the restaurant for food poisoning I know it sucks, I know you want to do the right thing, but there's the risk of being true or just some homeless assholes
I remember an AskReddit post about how a druggie at a homeless shelter in Vancouver faked choking on a Timbit donated by the local Tim Hortons and tried to sue.
If I'm not mistaken, there actually was a case where a business donated unsold food they were gonna just toss out at the end of the day to a homeless shelter and a bunch of people got sick from it.
18:26 no joke, I worked at Panera bread and we would give bread to the homeless or donate it nightly. However we throw baked goods away, I asked my manager if I could take them so that way nothings wasted. She got MAD AT ME and was like “I can’t allow that because then it becomes cost effective and a costly thing.” And I was like “seriously?” And she just shrugged at me. YOURE ALREADY GIVING THE FOOD AWAY ANYWAYS.
6:34 They could use a top loader washer (the front loader washers suck anyways) and they also make top loader dryers, so if they don't do the stack route they could just use top loaders
18:03 i would add that by accepting the food they waver their right to sue if the get food poisoning coz thats the real reason food joints dont donate the leftover food, coz the random ppl that get the food tried to sue the company saying they got sick over it, thats the reason they just toss it away, hell iirc a particular restaurant would destroy the sandwiches before tossing them out to the trash, coz again the homeless ppl were saying they wereoffered the sandwiches.
16 seconds in, nate, you brought back a horrible memory, 1 time at Walmart there was 1 parking spot left that a good close distance to the store, and there was 3 shopping carts in the parking spot, during the rain
17:25 Fun fact: In France, it’s illegal for people to throw away expired food, you must send it to compost or some other thing for use.
"You cant do that"
"F-cken did."
Main protagonist energy right there. Love it.
13:19 I can just imagine seeing "Subject: Sidewalk Chalk Dear Management, go fuck yourself." written on the sidewalk in chalk.
But what if the kids see it and ask what the word fuck means. Imagine seeing it as '...Go fluff yourself a new pillow and shove it up your ass before you sleep in it next time.' how is that?
Nurburgring nordschleife, the most dangerous track in the world dubbed "The green hell" has chalk all over it. 13:16

To add to this, I beleive there actually have been a few cases where unsold food that got donated to homeless shelters actually did make people sick

My brother got fired from Walmart over a donut that was going to be thrown out…yes I’m serious a fucking donut.

Unfortunately, yeah. A few bad apples ruining things for the rest of the world.

Thank you I work at a store and I hate when people leave shopping carts everywhere
I've been doing it for over 2 years. Hate everyone who does that.

Thanks Caleb
19:20 she payed for the whole burner and by god she is going to use it.
You can't walk 10 feet to put the shopping cart away? That's not anyone else's problem, put the cart BACK!!!
The carts are already shxtty but those things that disabled people use are monstrous or whatever is worse than shxtty, those things are sooooo heavy.
4:43 the McDonald's in my state aren't doing that they are still using the large cups still thankfully
speaking of apple’s battery, mine is at 83% for some months ago, which was before that 84%.
