I remember the 2000 new year. we were at a bowling alley bringing in the new year and I was crying in a corner cause I thought as soon a midnight struck that we were all gonna start floating like the Jetsons. to me, 2000 just sounded so futuristic and I really thought we were gonna lose gravity lmao

That's why 1999 was the best last year of the decade, the century, and the millennium, Everything was on point around that time of year. After Y2K the views and events went totally FUCKED until today.I do almost anything to go to year 1999 and do things The Right Way . Will see if 'ApexTv(TH-cam Channel) ' is telling the truth about a time machine that should be revealed to the public in the year 2028, and if so i am so definitely going back to a smoother time!

In 2000 I was 7. I remember hearing about Y2K but never dwelled on it, HELL I was a kid!!! I didn't take that stuff seriously.
Just so you know if no did anything all the fears that people thought was gonna happen would have happened. I was 18 in 1999, i know little would happen because they had computer programmers almost around the clock changing stuff for the 2000 switch. All the governments around the world knew about the y2k bug since 1970 and did nothing because they either thought it was fake or it's like 30 years away wil fix it later. Also the US government rejected it completely until 1995 The US alove spent 100 billion and that's 1999 money to prevent Y2K.
I cried when I saw young Backstreet Boys. I was Team Nsync at the time😢😢😢
And all this hysteria were caused by two digits on a calendar date. Damn.

I was born in 2009 and never knew this happened untill my parents told me. 2020 was like the same tbh but instead of computers going down they all went on
lol yeah it was crazy how seriously people took it. they thought that computers and other technology wouldn’t be able to understand what “00” meant and they thought that it would all crash. it was all fine though haha, i’m just grateful that i got to experience going from the 1000s to the 2000s it’s kinda cool

He even had an album called “Extinction Level Event” that even featured a creepy doom and gloom interlude. Im from Asia and Y2K didn't exist. I asked my parents and grandparents and they said they don't know what it is and celebrated it like normal. Nor was there anything in the news lol.
