I used to assemble C90's for a Honda dealer (they come as "knocked down" kit, 2 to a crate) and the problems you describe are usually due to incorrect initial assembly from the crate, firstly the skewed handlebar can be caused by the handlebar "crown" pressing (black cup shaped pressing that fixes the handlebar to the forks) might be assembled incorrectly (though it could be accident damage but it doesn't look like it), and secondly you could be getting electrical problems because the wiring routing into the headlamp casquette has to be routed right (both from the indicators and switches on the handlebar and from the main harness going into the headlamp/handlebar casing ----- there's a lot of wires/connectors going through the fork "crown" pressing) otherwise wires/connectors can be strained leading to strange electrical problems, there used to be an assembly/pdi manual that showed correct assembly/layout but most mechs didn't look at it (seen as cheap commuter bikes so not worthy of manual study) so when it came to wiring the handlebar/headlamp assembly end up wrestling/pulling the wiring to get it all to join up and forcing the wiring to go behind the headlamp, I personally would be tempted to disassemble the handlebar/headlamp to check if the above is the case and reassemble correctly for peace of mind but it can take 4 hours to do so.
hope this information is useful to you.

Hello there! I am a 24 year old Swede living in Japan. Because of the crazy high cost of taking your car drivers license here, I've been looking at getting a 50cc bike lately. I know nothing about bikes (or cars for that matter), but a friend of mine at the university I attend, sometimes rides a late 1970's Cub to school which looks and sounds amazing. So I TH-camd it and found your channel right away, and now I am hellbent on getting a cub.
I just wanted to say thank you for making videos in a way where anyone, with or without any previous knowledge about bikes, can learn from and enjoy watching.

*My 'first motor' of any kind was a '68 'CM-90 Super-Cub' for my 14th. B-day* (my 'gram' loved
me to bits!) $300 'out-the-door' with tax...and I *beat hell* outta' that poor machine for 3-years
virtually every day and put at least 15k miles on it! (what a little wanker I was...mistreating
the shit out of that poor Honda! )
*Flash-forward almost fifty-years* and I happen to see an advert on 'Craigslist' for an '08
Honda "Metropolitan" in gloss-black & grey...and it *had* me from 'get-go'...it spoke to me
and told me "Come get me and take me home and treat me right...and I'll take you anywhere".
*After two years now it's the best vehicle I've ever had!* (never any issues...it didn't deceive
me at all...just 'take proper care of me' and 'take you there' just as I thought)
What really struck me is how incredibly sophisticated this machine actually is...and yet still
very easy to work on yourself with proper tools and a manual (just basic maintenance so
far) The scoot had already had proper 'performance upgrades' when I bought it and engine
& exhaust are 'factory stock'...I can hit 42mph easily with 225lbs. of 'me' on it from a 50cc
engine no bigger than a loaf of bread! And still 'dead-smooth' at 'WOT' without so much as
smudge from the mirrors and as quiet as a sewing-machine!
*I'd love to have a 'new generation Super-Cub'* but my 'Metro' stays with me till I'm 'cold &
    still'*...it's a 'keeper'. (my '68 was about 12mph faster than my '08...but if I had a 'high-range'
gearbox rather than the 'CVT' I'm certain I could get close to 53-54mph with the 'little scoot')

My first bike was a 1967 C50 that I bought in 1968. It was 60 quid. If I remember correctly they were around 100 quid brand new.

A sound investment! They're a long way from those prices now :(

I sold the C50 in 1969 and bought a Triumph T100A. What a bad investment that was. Spent a fortune on it and sold it at a loss but was happy to get rid. I bought a brand new Rickman Bonneville in 74 thinking that if I bought a brand new bike my bike problems would be over. Wrong !The aluminium tank split, the gear linkage snapped and the gearbox imploded, all in the space of one year. The final straw was the engine seized. The Rickman was replaced with a Honda CB400F. Problems solved.

How do you obtain a Title for a bike build? If you purchase a motor, should it come with a Title? If you purchase a frame without a motor, should it come with a Title? If you purchase a complete bike , but the motor had been swapped, should it come with (2) Titles?

Klints not far off the value of these bikes is shooting up I've had eleven hondas c50s c70s c90s I've just bought a 1980 v honda c70 in aquarius blue fully restored and paid 1800 quid and that was reduced he wanted 2200 originally but dropped price due to family commitments it might sound a lot but its worth every penny to me I love these bikes .

Why the f...k is the mechanic using an adjustable spanner on the spindle nut for the back wheel , I think that he should know better. They are only good for skinning knuckles and rounding the corners on nuts. Honestly , they make better hammers than spanners ! Chuck it in the bin man for the binman lol !
