Love the Balos, I'm a New Balance guy & have the Rebel v2, v3 & v4, SC Elite v4 1080 v12 & Balos - The Balos is my favourite for everyday wear & running, the SC elite for when I enter a fun run / race. I love the cushioning & how much it give you some energy & bounce back. I do love the tongue personally. 2 things I don't like, the Price $300 in Australia & our version is only available in black, I would love the colour you guys have. thanks for the reviews, keep up the great work mate.
I got these 3 days ago and I recommend if you want a more snug sock like fit go a half size down but if you want a more relaxed roomy fit go true to size
I've bought the Rebel v4 that you and other reviewers recommend. I think it's a very comfortable shoe, but it does not have enough foam. By the look of these, they'll be similar to the Rebel in that department. I think for those that want to feel the foam they should get the thicker MORE v5 or the ELITE version or even the TRAINER version that features Fuel Cell.
i loved em at first, but they started really hurting my feet when i had to stand on uneven surfaces. i think too responsive for everyday wear when youre standing qutie a bit and not always running/walking. had the same issue with nike zoomx. still preferring the fresh foam x with the 1080s. more v5 gettin more comfortable, but still wish toe box a bit wider.
when are you standing on uneven surfaces? I would think that would make it tough no matter the shoe tbh! but yeah some will not like too much cushion I get that also
@@heskicks I went to watch a LIV golf tournament. So when I was up at the tee box to watch guys drive, I was on a slant and just standing on that slant started killing my feet. Same thing happened when I went to a concert and was standing in the pit in front of the stage, which was on an incline, and my feet started killing me with these more responsive shoes (the golf event was with balos, the concert was with invincible run with zoom x). I dont know if I am just experiencing really odd surfaces for very specific situations, but I think there are more slanted/inclined surfaces than I realize and situations where you have to stand on them instead of just walking on them.
@heskicks would be interested in a More v5 vs Rebel v4 comparison as well. Maybe even include the new 1080 v14 when it's out. Plus the Balos if it's still not too much trouble of course haha
As a bigger guy, in my 40s, with a lot of basketball miles on my body, the max cush Nike invincible line has changed my life. I can walk all day in them. How do these compare?
NB Balos vs Brooks Glycerin Max vs the Saucony Hurricane 24. Appearance alone, I would pick the Balos. However since I am overweight I don't think having soft shoes would benefit my knees and ankles.
@@MadLadsAnonymous Yes Hurricane 24 is cheaper too and has been getting great reviews from running channels. Puma, Nike, and Adidas are always too narrow for my wide feet.
Hey, brother, got a question? So I was at a concert outdoor in a stadium the other night. I'm about 280 pounds. I was wearing the rebel V 4, and they were pretty damn comfortable. I have really bad knees. I'm going to get them replaced next year. Just wanted. to know if you had any recommendations besides those. As for shoes that you can wear where you're just kind of standing. I also have the 1080V13. and I find the rebel V fours are superior, I think. I'm already answering my own question. I just wasn't sure what your thoughts were. Any help would be appreciated.. I can't wear Nikes. They're tooth. narrow. FYI.
Try the Saucony Hurricane 24. I am also on the heavy side, had ACL reconstruction, but currently have a torn medial meniscus. The rebel V4 I wore casually since the release and they seem to be bottoming out now. To test if the shoe is unstable, stand on one leg and do a slight squat, if you feel the midsole collapsing on one side then it is time to change to a more stable shoe especially if overweight.
Great shoes will have to try these out when they go on sale they are $260 in Canada 🇨🇦 my gf will kill me if I buy these at regular price also I can’t find any other colour way hopefully they come out with some more
If your wife is an active lady that actually runs, she should give us her review. walking experience, intensive as it may be, does not put you in a position to review a running oriented shoe.
Have always worn New Balance high end sneakers but tried to buy some recently and sole so squishy rolled ankle just in store, what have they done , no structure anymore, no high arches. Seems like sketchers and new balance joined in foam cheap soles, definately not for sports or running. Please use caution!!!!

The 1080 v14 just released.....Now you have to compare to the rest of the new balance line....We appreciate your hard work 🤣
Releases 10/10 for those wondering!
wtf already lol
@@huhSHUA i doubt they could make it better. The v13 are perfect for me. All they can do is add more foam, which looks like they are 💀

Goth both balos and 1080v13. amazing shoes! New Balance nailed it
Yes please compare - more v5, 1080v13
Thanks bro
vid is done and will post in a few days!
Yes just bought the more. I’m a walker and stander no running.

Love em but do not like the color. Need to try Mizuno Neo Vista!
Favorite shoe in my collection 😎
Please Try the Saucony hurricane 24 for the 16th time
Getting!
@@heskicks from what I've heard they sound great, they've got super foam in a core
Stop asking for the 16th time 😂

@@heskicks i dont really have that same level of pain and experience with the 1080s or my 990v6s.
the box is certainly narrower in the Balos compared to the 1080 V13. that is the big Miss in this show which is otherwise close to perfect.
A comparison between More v5 and Rebel v4 pls ???
especially rebel v4 😊
noted!

These are softer underfoot for sure I will work on a comparison vid!
Now that the shoe is out, I humbly ask you to review the New Balance 1080v14 sir!
Hos is it compared to Ultraboost 1.0? I don't like too bouncy sneakers. It twist my ankle sometimes.
Brother please lol.

You need Puma MagMax, Hurricane 24, or Glycerin Max.

Are you going to review the Jae tip saucony?
I had no idea these were different from the base 1080v13.
yeah they are pretty crazy different on feet! both excellent tho
Nice but they look bulky, I would get them in a darker color wave
I got mine for 160 on the website with that 20% off deal they had. Score!

Is the rocker in the Balos like that in the Motiva and do you feel like it has high stack height like Invincible 3?

There are not worth rhis price ...
Hi Hes, grainy feed !?
What about the fresh foam x 1440?
Can you compare it to the fuelcell sc trainer v3?
try the sc pacer please
You have run to feel the rocker

The 1080v14 is supposed to be firmer and bouncier than the v13.
Please compare!
MagMax and Glycerin Max, too :)
First!
Look way way too soft
200$ 😂😂
Superblast 2 is way better
