I love this song and ending is very nice. All band fellows together on 2 metres of podium. THIS TOUR IS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. They realized They need to play more HITS. The new stuff is also good, but on the concert most of the fans want to hear chronicly known music and sing with the group. THIS IS WHAT MAKES LIVE PERFORMACE SO GREAT.
David Schick this song isn’t a big hit compared to the other Achtung Baby songs. I think it’s best to see these as lesser-known but underrated songs (like Stay, Zoo Station) that are finally being brought back live after so many years of being ignored. :)
ok but this song was ignored as well, or am I wrong? you have to understand my point of view, any song from Achtung baby is a big hit for me, so meybe it is only me who takes this one as a big hit, this one has a video, as well as for example Stay
Carbide it was intentional! He always ends with “Berlin” because that’s where they made Achtung Baby, hence why they use that word to launch into Zoo Station :)
Yes, just to echo what Joel said. The part of the script where he starts mentioning European cities, as soon as he says Berlin, Edge comes in with the riffs.... personally I’d like to hear the backing track breathe a bit more before the riffs like on previous tours
Ah, thanks to both of you for the answer! I think it fits, idk why but when i think of it I think of it again, it kinda reminds me of what people say would be a sudden change in music (mirroring the sudden start of Zoo Station), going from the western-ish sounding Rattle and Hum, straight to Achtung Baby which was very different to their previous albums. I haven't seen them do that before, and I think it fits them!
Also, this has to be one of their best performances of the night imo, along with Real Thing and Blinding Lights, and I also love the pre recorded version of Hold Me. Great performance!
Wild Horses was amazing in London1 Thanks for allowing me to revisit

I was there!!!
I hope I can see bono when he’s younger, he looks so handsome! I wasn’t born by then, my dad was (I’m using my dads account to comment btw)
I was there, and I'm just wondering, Bono was doing a little speech, and he was cut off by the start of Zoo Station, was it intentional?
