I still use a bert krak bulldog liner machine and a hatchback irons hatchomatic shader and a soba color packer from workhorse and I use a dankubin ghost dog for linework
I use an original rollomatic as my everyday liner. And an Owen Jensen specialist shader. When using coils. I also have sharps coils too but rarely use them. I also have bishop magi for when I use a rotery. And a workhorse irons prototype rotary. Use the rollomatic and Jensen more than anything.
Hello guys I have a question for you ....aquaphor has come out with a new (SPRAY) ON ointment the ingredients are pretty much the same as the normal product except the spray contains (Butane) now I'm not a tattooer but I am a collector. . I'm hearing of friends being told to use this product I have advised them that butane is a skin irritant ....and to not use the spray ... Can you give me your opinion on this ?
You have some good points there but I have no idea about that product. I would recommend to try it and see how it goes because there are some good products out there that in theory doesn't make sense but in real life works great.
I stopped to listen because I am building my own tattoo machine.. I have about six tattoo machines four with Chinese frames and they are all different in how they work... But I only have one professional tattoo line which I was not very happy with.. Cost me a lot and i tried saling it but no one would give me what i paid for. By studying that liner machine I found out that it will take both steel and disposal tube.. So I built me a shader out of a similar frame. I did a tattoo on my chest to try it and I love them both because they work well as a pair liner and shader for disposable/ steel tube...
Anything second hand- might be some of workhorse irons might be Cheyenne thunder type of machines is you are more into rotary/cartridge type of machines or anything that someone who's good with lines is selling
Don’t have a fucking clue so longs it’s not Chinese even them will work I could tattoo with a machine I grew down the road got run over they will all work you have to set up for what you are doing if a machine heats up fix it I hate Chinese machines with 10 or 12 wraps I think they are more if they are 7 or 8 they are fine but the bigger coil ones are junk if someone is new they will butcher a person very quick with a big coil Chinese machine I don’t know why maybe the capacitor I recommend something like what joe Kaplan sells for a new person will run nice out of the box and they are aluminum so not to heavy pen about 80 dollars Canadian a machine if they still make them always like ther shader nice throw on it for whip shading I prefer Kaplan’s as to the old Spaulding and Rogers don’t even know if Spaulding still exists but for a new person they will run outa the box and they are reasonable
This guy josh perez doesn't know much about tattoo machines. "gun" is not what a tattoo machine is called. It's called a tattoo machine and it doesn't shoot bullets.
Thank you guys for taking the time to make these videos.

Hello Joseph which voltage do you setup your rolomatic? What about the hz to run?
What are good liners and shaders that are relatively cheap (on a budget) like the cheapest
You can check your suppliers brand. They usually put their brand on pretty descent generic needles

It's all the rear spring for tune, good luck
luck is a big thing when tuning them without any idea what is going on
I kinda hate needle cartridges especially the liners
Thanks for input

What's so specific with springs in Europe and other places?
Cut and punch your own springs.
What brand did he say his second machines were? i couldnt understand the name
It was Seth Ciferri machine
Coils is the best for the industry, the rest is vanity!
I love the dedication of coil community
I like lucky supply a lot but I’m kind of a cheap ass when it comes to coil machines 600 bucks is really expensive lol
Yeah. That's even more expensive when you want it in Europe.

"a machine I grew down the road" - pure gold
These guys don't know much about tattoo guns. "Thingy" is not a part of a gun. It's call a capacitor and it has a purpose.
Guns? It's a peaceful topic here... no guns please

Okay i'm out
I'm 4yrs late, but no respectable tattoo artist call a coil machine a "gun" 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂neither do YOU 🤣🤣🤣THEY ARE CALLED TATTOO MACHINES.... NOT GUNS.... DUH......
Mmm..theres plenty of real tattooers who make mschines...you dont need to expend lots of money for a good coil machine!!!
You guys have no idea how a coil machine works😂
