if kenyans could have followed prof wa thiong'os ideas we could have had over 3m professors.imagine reading in kikuyu .mathematics in kikuyu ,aviation, science etc that is what other countries have done, jews, russians chinese ,french, english etc
Now we need to start learning in gikuyu from pri-unit to the university. Chinese learn in Chinese, Korean in Korean, and Japanese in Japanese but kikuyus learn in English. It doesn't make sense. We should listen to what Ngugi wa Thiong'o is telling us.
I think it should start from home......especially in this generation i see parents speaking English to their young babies......we should train our children our native toungues then allow schools to teach the others.....it should start from home
ningenagio muno ni uugi wa professor Ngugi wa Thing'o kuhitukira wandiki wake ruriri niruirutite maingi, Ngai amurathime na umugitagire hindi ciothe, ni jamba ya bururi
Kama huyu Mzee anasema wanawake walikua jasiri na kufanya kila kitu, why should they wait for nomination slot in 2/3 gender rule? Si wapiganie izo viti pia
