    I read the book. He did not bash Jordan, he actually praised Jordan throughout the book, He just said that they didn't really have a relationship off the court. But mainly it was about his career.

    So Full of CRAP!
    18:52 "I'd rather have another championship." "It would've been a team achievement."" I don't chase individual achievements."
    19:15 Tyler alludes to the 1.8 second-sit-out in 1994 and asks Pippen if he was bothered by not having more plays run for him and he completely dodges the question by responding, "No, I don't think it bothered me. I think that year in 94 , part of the 95 was probably some of my most funnest season."
    This is the same guy that went in the Dan Patrick show and said the Phil Jackson didn't draw the 1.8 play for him for racial reasons. In the book, "to give him (Kukoc) a rise"
    20:28 In response to a question about his statement in the book about the missed opportunity of going to the finals with Portland, "I don't think about it at all. I got six so I'm not thinking about the seventh that I didn't get."
    (But he said that he would rather have another championship before)
    Tyler Tynes seems to be aware of Pippen's insincerity and can be heard in his chiding, "Naw?" "Never?" "Yes sir. Yes sir."
    It's obvious that Pippen or someone in his camp has realised how quickly this stupid book has backfired and is now trying to play it as an innocent memoir of Pippen's journey to and through the NBA. Then why take shots at Jordan and the 'Last Dance' in chapter one when that was not the beginning of the journey?
    On November 8th 2021, Good Morning America broadcasted an interview of Pippen where he said that he wanted to be remembered as the greatest of all time (the greatest of all individual achievements).
    Pippen is just a clown in Chicago after that stupid book.

      I think that year proved without doubt that Scottie can never be a team leader. He is a great player one of the greatest of all times , played instrumental role in winning 6 rings but can not be a team leader. The moment he refused to pass the ball to Toni is the moment they lost their hopes of winning a title. It is quite funny hearing him now talk about team sport after he did that whereas MJ passed the ball multiple times to Paxson in 91 win over the lakers, to Paxson again for the winning shot over the Suns in 93 and to Kerr for the winning shot over the Jazz in 97. That is the real team leader every young player should look up to and no Scottie with all respect to his talent

    The Last Dance is exactly what the people wanted to watch.
    If The Last Dance was more about Scottie or any other player, it would have been very disappointing.

    This interviewee is horrendous. The follow up of questions was just bad especially the one about the 73-9 Warriors. They aren't better because obviously they didn't win the Championship that year no need to ask why. This interview helps Scottie a bit. Scottie doesn't hate Michael and I understand his perspective. Both needed eachother and were the perfect bond.

    Selling books by trying to ruin somone elses legacy says enough of the character of Scottie. Never tought so about him, but you can't see inside the heads of people.

    • @jimmyfabs78
      @jimmyfabs78 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really?? That's funny because all the Bulls games I watched in the 90's Pippen could do anything Jordan could do. He could score at will, dunk on anyone, defend, steal, etc. It just happened to be Jordans team and Pippen played his part. I've seen games where both Jordan and Pippen scored 40 something points, 30 something points in the same game.

    • @I21-v7s
      @I21-v7s 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jimmyfabs78 It's even more funny that now Jordan is being compared with Pippen. How much Pippen averaged in points? 16.1
      How much Jordan averaged? 30.1
      Are you sure you want to do this? You can't compare them in scoring man. What are you smocking bro?

    I'm not defending Pippin, I think what he's doing is very pathetic, but I also think Jordan wouldn't have won the title if Pippin had retired, just like Pippin didn't win when Jordan retired.

    having just finished reading Scotties book. I don’t understand why all the media controversy. ‘Unguarded’ is a really great book. Pippen barely potted Jordan in the autobiography. Pippens life is a fascinating read… he was an outstanding player… and to think that Steve Kerr was in a bigger contract than Scottie in the second bulls 3-peat… is a pretty massive disrespect to Scottie… I don’t blame his bitterness at the time
