- In this VladTV exclusive, Dennis Rodman opened up about his life, including his troubled childhood, which resulted in homelessness, and his flirting with a life of crime. Rodman recalled his NBA career and made his now-viral comments about Larry Bird. He also talked about his experiences with the "Bad Boy" Pistons, the second 3-peat Bulls with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, and his brief stint on the Lakers with Kobe Bryant and Shaq. During the interview, Rodman also addressed the more personal and salacious side of his story by detailing his relationships with Madonna and Carmen Electra, as well as his ties to the LGBTQ+ community. The NBA Hall of Famer concluded the interview by talking about his experiences with controversial political figures Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin.

I always accepted him being him. I really hope he has peace and joy in his life now.
Me n my mom ran into Dennis Rodman at foot locker when I was a kid. He told all the kids in the store to grab whatever pair of shoes they want and he paid for all our shoes. Solid dude.
He did that kind of stuff all the time. Rodman is one of the good ones. ❤
That's awesome!
What shoes did you get?
@@technoretarded8029 air jordan 13 😎
Yeah, that's why he went from being worth 50 million to broke.
Only 6'8 with 7 rebounding titles in a time where you had Olajuwon, Shaq, Robinson, Ewing, Mourning, and Malone. Greatest rebounder in NBA history.
Now that's a great point!
Olajuwon was better on rebounds but pound for pound Rodman
@@pierremilburn5257Rodman has seven rebounding titles to Olajuwon's two..
He also averaged 13.1rpg over his career to Olajuwon's 11.1rpg.
Rodman hands down is the modern era's best rebounder, that's not even arguable.
@@pierremilburn5257lol sooo wrong
@@themanman4391no, u!
Dennis Rodman has a sense of humor. He can laugh and joke about all of his younger years but we all can see inside he’s a good guy and sensitive also. He’s made professional sports for everyone no matter what your style happens to be. He loves people and people love him forever.
Rodman is a genuine cool dude, I don't care what anyone says
You care so much and that's why you wrote it. If you didn't care then it wouldn't have crossed your mind to write how you didn't care.
@@user-wb7nv9ht1gdude shut up
I ain’t gone lie he is a bummmmm
Honestly growing up I was always in aww of this man his style his acting with Jean Claude top class basketball player I mean what else do people want? He’s a goat 🐐
I agree
I love how vulnerable he allows himself to be.
People this authentic are rare these days.
Agree 100%
I've always liked Dennis despite the perception of what we have seen over the years. I hope he finds true happiness. His pain seems to run deep. Wishing him peace and ❤
Half man half lady= it’s as if purple acki is living ❤
He seems to be really appreciative for making it out the hood. I'm from the south side of Chicago and can totally relate and I respect it. I get emotional thinking about it too. To God be the glory.
Lindblom Tech HS class of 97 LOL I feel you sista
I'm not really a basketball fan, and I always thought Dennis Rodman was a clown, but when I saw this interview, I was amazed at how intelligent he was. I loved the interview. He teared up a couple of times and so did I. I am now a Dennis Rodman fan, and I always will be! 👑
Him and Pippen were and still are my two favorite basketball players of all time. I remember at 7 years old my moms asking me to pick out an N64 game at K-Mart to play with the new N64 console my grandfather and aunt got me and my sister. I picked out Kobe Bryant's NBA Court side just to play as them, I was such a Rodman fan. I was a huge Bulls fan as a kid. I think at the ages of 6, 7, and 8 as well was when I thought Rodman was my fav basketball player next to Pippen. 1st & 2nd Grade was when I was the biggest fan in my life. I had a Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen basketball card. Most Bulls fans were a big Jordan fan but I didn't really care so much about Jordan as I did Rodman and Pippen. I was a big fan of the colors he'd dye his hair as well. I remember in the NBA courtside N64 game the hair color would change from time to time. Idk I just thought his hair was kool lol but no serious I liked him as a player more than Jordan. I mean don't get me wrong I like Jordan and Space Jam and all but i didn't care kus like Rodman and Pippen were my fav players.
Dennis is very sincere man. I would love to hang out with him
This guy is so funny to me, I love his unapologetic ways and he doesn't even front about it...and his style was iconic to me, so groundbreaking when you see artists' images today.
Dennis got that check, and got up outta there😂😂😂😂
Great job on this interview VLAD 👏🏽 I love and respect Rodman but this interview was not easy.
At first we hated Rodman, then when he came to Chicago, we fell in love with this guy!
Dennis is my all time favorite nba star, the time he was in the Bulls was the most exciting time in the nba for me!
I have always been a Dennis Rodman fan since he played with the Detroit Pistons. He was always my favorite player besides Michael Jordan. I love the fact he joined the Bulls for the sake of Jordan and Pippen; although, he went on to win 3 titles with them. I love his unapologetic attitude and doesn’t hide it unlike a lot of people. He had some best moments in his career in the NBA. He had a rough upbringing living in the Dallas ghetto while his sisters were basketball players in their own right.
Rodman is an absolute legend
Only 1 hour long interview for Dennis Rodman should be criminal
"When you miss, you miss"
~ Dennis Rodman
This guy really inspired me growing up, especially because I always felt like an outsider as a kid. Truly one of my heroes and favorite people. Much love Dennis ❤
Dennis/Worm grew up in Oak Cliff/Dallas. He lived by us. I was a little kid back then. It wasn't the "projects". It wasn't the burbs but it wasn't like a episode of "Good Times".
You're right, I'm from oak cliff and my mother told me he tried to talk her but as you know he wasn't the most good looking, she turned him down he told her she'd regret it I guess he was right huh lol.
He's a pretty emotional man, I wonder if he has ever had therapy dealing with his past and pain. I always liked and respected him as a person and athlete.
Rodman scared me as a kid '95 '98 playing VS my Utah Jazz..i was told not to like him cuz he was different....now that I'm older, I really like this dude
Coonism....
"l love working hard." The number one lesson for young people on how to achieve success.
DjVlad rock this interview. Rodman is not an easy person to interview, vlad got him to open up. 5 🌟
I agree. I feel like Vlad went above and beyond to make this one of the best interviews I've watched on here. When it ended I was like wait?...that's all there is? Then I realized I had been watching for over an hour. Loved it from top to bottom. I feel Vlad didn't over pry at him, but he also asked him alot of great questions. 👍
That pic of Dennis Rodman fully vertical extending his entire body heading into the crowd over a rebound is the most iconic NBA moment ever captured
One of my 3 favorite iconic basket ball pics. The other 2: Oscar Robertson grabbing a rebound with both legs extended outwards and Bill Russell grabbing a rebound with one foot on the ground and the other extended above his head.
Best rebounder and one of the best defensive players of all time. Rodman would lock alot of these new so called superstars down.
He's always been a down to earth type of person
ALRIGHT HERE WE GO, THE WHOLE INTERVIEW IS HERE, WELCOME TO VLADTV!!!! Listen man, long time fan…. So this is your first time here, I wanna start in the beginning. Dennis Rodman, always a pleasure, until next time, PEACE!!!
😂
I loved this. I feel it's exactly all the things about Rodman were true. He doesn't care what you think about him. In a very respectful, nonchalant kind of way. He supports people because they're just human. He wants to express his self, but doesn't have to be in your face about it. He respects the privacy of others, but if that person wants to share he's down right willing to allow it, defend it, but not make it a huge thing. Much respect Rodman for just being you. You've never really gone after anybody that has an opinion about you, but if someone had say a negative view of you. You would still defend that person to have their opinion. Kudos
From the top of my heart I Love this brotha Dennis Rodman. He is a friend of mine in heart.
When he started getting emotional.. I felt that
The interview has not even started and I know I’m gonna enjoy this interview
Very refreshing to see a change from the rappers vlad always interview. Love the rodman
I agree! You are super pretty
This is by far my favorite interview on Vlad! 😂😂😂😂
Finally! About to listen to this at work
Dennis is a very emotional human being. I am as well. It makes life hard at times but is good to empathize. And Bad Boys forever!!! Deeeeeetroit Baaaaasketball.
Yes. I have waited for this. ❤Dennis Rodman. 🏀
TY VLAD. Great interview.
Good interview 💯❤️🙏🏽
We need a part 2
He is real dude...his personality some people judge him but he have a good heart ❤️
Great interview! Dennis is a great guy! I used to see him all the time. We worked out at the same gym and would chill and watch the game together at the same cigar lounge in OC CA.
Finally, the 2023 Dennis Rodman Full Interview is uploaded! 😊
Rodman is a good guy. He just like to party and have fun. Nothing wrong with that.
Yes he loved to party but after the Bulls run he still had some years left in the association. But he played a grand total of 35 games with two different teams and then was out of the league. All attributing to him loving the party life and not focusing on his career. He could have had even a higher rebounding average. Great rebounder though.
Yeah life leading to nowhere...all good🙄
DO A PART 2 WITH Dennis.
Super interview 👏
This was a great interview by Vlad. I am glad he uploaded the full interview instead of watching 2 minutes clips of 27 clips. I guess my only question is how much did Vlad pay Dennis Rodman to do this interview? Dennis ain’t doing no interview for free or his health.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 interview
One of the most fascinating dudes in sports history gets 1hr 12 minuts but guys like boosie gets 3hrs smh
Fascinating may be an understatement..
One the BEST rebounders EVER to play the game
THE best.
A really great interview!
I remember going out in Chicago one night and couldn’t get in a club because Rodman was there. And you couldn’t get anywhere near the place. It was like Elvis was there. I got in after he was gone and the place just empty but I remember there was there was there was this lingering energy. I was impressed . Rodman and that team wasn’t just a famous sports team , those three were like international superstars.
@VLADTV Dennis is it. Love from since I was a kid. He deserves a noble prize award. 👏 🙌 ✨️ ❤️
just now finding out about his story, going from barely even playing ball, to becoming a janitor after high school and then attending college and putting his name out there succeeding well to being one of the best players in the nba is insane! just gives me more hope for my own similar path, thank you Dennis rodman !
Watched it twice🔥
Rodman is amazing
I love you dennis. This world needs him more and more than ever before. Respect to how hes conducting lifes deeds when they hit him the hardest. If this aint a real man id stop here, but im going to share this with the one and only soon.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Rodman is a great man
Damnit Dennis I absolutely love you brother and I'll never forget how kind you were to me the couple of times I met you back in Detroit many moons ago but I really wish you didn't say that poop about Larry!
Well worded. 👍👊
For those who dont know....
When yall think projects like west coast,or east coast with security, this manes hood.....is beyond hood what he overcame is crazy, the schools he went too, alll the apts and houses next to it were boarded up etc,his pjs at that were infamous,he really got blessed by god
I want the unedited version.....
I just saw a few videos on your story Dennis - what an amazing man and role model. From heights to lows but more importantantly how you stopped drinking for your sake and those you love. I'm a recovery alki and it takes gutts, courage and some days are better than others. We're hypersensitive, childlike, good people (mostly).
Hope your very proud of yourself. You should be. Xx
Watching from U.K, Dennis is so likeable as a person!
I hate when people come onto interviews and don't want to talk about tons of very important stuff. Like just tell the shit.... No Carmen Electra parts.... doesn't want to talk about this, getting generic general questions asked to him and wanting to threaten to leave. It's like I love ya Rodman, but this is an INTERVIEW!
7:00 that hurt tho....
Jus gon keep it G…he gave me hella skeeeed up coke vibes at first 😂😂..but after listening to him for about 10..15 min I realized how incredible his story really is 💪🏾
Good interview with Dennis Rodman i would love to meet Dennis one day!
Unique skills for Basketball. I only wish he could of had a good mentor during the early developmental stages of life. Kudos to Chuck Daly.
Legendary 🐐 Status Indeed, All Hail The Great Dennis "The Worm" Rodman ❤️👑🏆🪱🏀🙌🏾
This is a true story of a man that came from zero to a hero in real life!! Rodman was a true definition of that and you saw it in his hunger and play on the court. Went from and unknown to a hall of famer!! Def well deserved and that is why i tell people "It's bigger than basketball" Rodman played for survival and never turning back to being homeless...Rodman was rebounding and defending for his real life man!! That's true passion and essence that goes beyond sport!! Self made man despite all the off court stuff...great player!! 💯💪
Absolutely a legend on AND off the floor!
Best rebounder I ever saw. He was relentless
I was then and I always will be a Dennis rodman fan even before I watch this interview while I'm watching it now I'm always going to be a Dennis rodman fan
What a pleasure to watch him win three rings with the Bulls it wasn't only #23 Rodman was on hell of a player ❤
Wish I was old enough to have seen it.
@@ogp8025you are old enough to see it, just use the resources you (We) have today... You can Google anything these days {If you haven't already?} 🙂
Dennis Rodman: when you miss, you miss🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯
Larry can play in any era
Have a drink everytime Rodman says "and stuff like that"
Most incredible story in basketball. Not only because of where he came from to who he played with but… how he was doing it.
Imagine being in Vegas with Carmen Electra doing things no one can ever dream.. a few days later you are practicing with hall of famers winning championships. Not only that you have arguably the best athlete of all time raving about how good you are and how well you understand the game.
Humble
Basketball genius and coolest personality from basketball world he was a show in 90s
Love Rodman 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I agree he's like the rest of us hard life
I really like Dennis Rodman and stuff like that. 👍🏾
BEAUTIFUL!
This dude is legend! Rock n roll type legend! Mj had to go find him! 20 rebounds guarded Shaq n Malone n shit them down! Mentally tough! Parties and went to work his energy was unmatched he really did it his way! If the bulls didn’t get him to hold down the interior longley would have been fucked
I love how he shuts bad down and checks him 😂 he too nosey
I love Dennis ❤❤❤
Vlad should have asked what Rodman thought of the Mike Epps impersonation
That was definitely funny😂😂😂
Rodman is a cool guy and Wonderful Basketball Player May he continue too stay blessed
I definitely agree.
I love this dude man!!! !😎💪🏾
Dennis Rodman is the 🐐 human !
And right now actually right now, big rod just got another rebound put back on my nba23
Great job Robman
What's REALLY legendary is how hard this man partied and who he partied with
Blast mode 🤣🤣🤣 ain’t heard that in years
Definitely one of many, many, many reasons why my coming of age years in the 90s was one strange era.
