It don't matter to me if there a premium or not, we already have the tiger 1 in the tech tree and all this would be is another folder tank that majority would skip over, its only benefit is the cosmetic appearance and for a premium I would rather see this then a busted vehicle being sold. So all in all I keep hearing is whining from everyone when every new premium is released either its too broken, not given to the tech tree, gate keeping against new player, complaining that it ruins matches or it's cosmetic appearance should've been free. And what I have gathered is that this community loves to whine and is very divided in term of what is needed and what is not

Important to note the Ostwind will be the 3rd SPAA premium ever.....we have the ZUT-37 which is really a Tank Destroyer and the very rare Phong Kong SPAA
I’m honestly really excited for these, I’ve gone back to playing the Tiger 1’s a lot recently and would love to have more, especially premium ones. One thing to note about these Tigers is they don’t have the infantry mine launchers on the corners of the tank, so there won’t be anything for your cannon to get hung up on when you’re angling and aiming low. I really hope I’ll be able to get all of these on console.

Who cares about the win rates, you might lose but you still have broken OP under-BR'd vehicles to curb stomp everyone with. Most of your rewards are from kills, not winning; who gives a shit if you get paid a ton regardless and it's hand-fed to you.

I like the idea of premium lineups, but 2 heavies and 1 SPAA? They should have put a tiger, a panther and the AA at least to make it a more balanced lineup.

I really like the idea of a lineup premium pack. I think it will go a long way towards reducing the number of 1-death leavers who just buy a single premium and don’t bring any other tanks to battle. Im personally not interested in buying one of these sorts of packs as I only like to buy premiums that are within the br range I’ve already researched vehicles for but ik basically no one else does that.
I'm ok with this, as a scale modeler, I really enjoy these vis mod type vehicles, hoping we can get some Shermans and Cromwells like this. To add, these Tigers also have the annoying hull mounted mine launchers removed so you can actually angle them properly.

Regarding the winter event: we basically already know what each event vehicle will be from leaks posted by people who have had very, very accurate info the past few updates. The ground reward will be an American proto ampib AFV that I forgot the name of (looked kinda BMP-ish). The naval reward will be IJN Kirishima, the third Kongo class BB/BC we will get ingame. The air rewards will be a mid-tier French prop (I believe something akin to the M.B. 157) and a high rank Isreali jet (I believe it was a Kfir variant) So yeah, these Germans are as far as I know completely unrelated to the winter event. We'll have to wait and see what they are actually going to be.
They could've done something like WoT and just added "Style Skins" where it's a premium currency 3d decoration change. Anyone know what I mean? Battlefield V has something similar. Why do they limit themselves to solely adding premium vehicles and not in depth customization?
I think this will be 60-70 eur pack. A lot of new players will buy this. A lot of new players start playing war thunder because of tigers and panthers. This is an excellent move by Gaijin to make more money.
I feel like Gajin thinks they got much more good will from the roadmap than they really did. I swear, if review bombing is the only language they understand, sooner or later they will get it.
These are really nice to have. I’m going to pick them up if I can. I love seeing the details of how vehicles varied through their service lives. Low effort, sure. But not every addition to the game needs to be some groundbreaking new type.

Kinda surprised they didn't do something like this earlier considering its going to be an absolute money printer for new players. World of Tanks added Tiger 131 and a Japanese Tiger years and years ago.
This is a boneheaded idea. If anything they should be bundling packs at ranks VII and VIII. It'd reduce the number of one death leavers which is more of a problem at those ranks than any other

They used to have the M29 with rockets and the F-89 D in a premium exclusive folder where you could only buy the latterby purchasing the former, and they cost more than the first ones, now they are half the cost I think, or they changed it so that isn't even a requirement anymore.

Well I mean lineup premiums would make the grind so much better. With aircraft one vehicle is enough becouse AirRB is just one spawn, but thats not the case with ground. 3 vehicle pack would be just enough to be a usefull player rather than one death leaver. But we can only hope, and having higher tier packs could spawn a lot more new issues.
The wood will probably act like a composite armor for heat rounds. Meaning m51s and pt76s will have issues getting good side shots. But thats just my guess.
It reminds me of the F-89s and, I think, the Calliope - M26T99 combo (I'm sure the M26T99 was), the only premiums as far as I know are/were grouped in a folder (and the first vehcile in those folders is quite expensive)

All of these camos and cosmetic accessories like the Logs and the flag should've been unlockables for the current tech tree Vehicles, not Premium vehicles of their own.

Don't know what you complaining about little timmy if he just there having fun, you guys take the game very seriously and all I see is people complaining that there team lost, I can tell ya one thing ever since I played in 2016 the german teams have always been like this, its because nobody here is what you guys describe stereotypically, even if german mains are considered blind majority of them are a mass amount of player that also contribute on making ussr and usa main look dumb too because the game never meant to have everyone be good at in the match otherwise you have everyone get a kill each which never will consistently happen in a live match, and dont even try to bring up the vehicle itself the only ONE time a vehicle was ever considered broken as a premium was the IS-6 and that was years ago.

The reason we complain is because I can't imagine spending 70 USD on a tank to drive for about 90 seconds and get domed from across the map because you don't know how to play the game, then having to leave the match because you don't have another tank to use - thus leaving your team a man down at the start of the match, multiplied by however many of these people there are on a team - is very fun, and generally ruins the experience for everyone involved. Teams can be left with massive player disadvantages that almost guarantee a loss, while at the same time the winning team doesn't really have anything to shoot at which ruins their ability to grind in a game that already has a shitty economy. It makes matches boring, frustrating, and makes the game less fun to play.
@@travelerspookswelcome to war thunder, for the price tag I agree that $70 for a top tier is outrageous however that does not take the fact that player are player and it does not matter how much you play or how skilled you are at the end you will end up in the hanger like everyone else, you either get good games or bad and it doesn't matter if your team is good or bad at the end your team will always be mid or bad because there is no cohesive communication due to the fact that everyone is a random player that has no idea who is who, while map also create a huge influence on how player interact it also point out the flaws of many map that gaijin has made however these flaws do not reflect premium vehicle itself as these vehicle rarely has an influence on certain maps and very few vehicles actually can exploit map location most notably the VT1-2. For the economy itself that's not the premium vehicle problem that is gaijin economy balancing problem, grinding air is more easy due to kills to xp ratio while naval has much easier grind but longer matches and que but tank in general has quite a broken economy in term of XP which I agree that they need to rework it due to the fact they rely on you getting a number of kills while the tech tree itself is massive, they either have to folder many of the vehicles or give a much higher xp percentage as grinding US, german and USSR tank tech tree from the start is absolutely depressing. Most of the problem I see with this game isn't actually the premium vehicle but rather the game mode and the map design for these vehicle to be used, BR does take An influence however we are at a point especially top tier where everything can pen anything while also having very similar performance same goes with top tier air, gaijin has been quite lazy on implementing a variety of game mode and objectives to keep the game fresh. its to the point where you play the game to chase after the dopamine of getting good results rather actually enjoying the game you will eventually feel burned out and uncomfortable playing the game, me playing since 2016 has changed absolutely nothing in the state of the game as it remained the same objective, the only thing changed is the longer grind and the new mechanics that these new vehicles are presenting but at the end its always the same result.
If Tigers, specifically the Tiger H1 and E versions as well as the new ost and west variamts, were to be reduced to the 4.7 Battle rating, it would provide numerous benefits to both individual players and the game as a whole. The reduced Battle rating would allow for more engaging matches against comparable tanks, such as the American M36 Jackson or the Soviet T-34-85. This would encourage aggressive gameplay and increase the rate at which players could progress through the game by earning more Silver Lions and Research Points. Furthermore, the reduced Battle rating would balance the game more effectively as it would eliminate the potential for Tiger players to be placed agianst superior Soviet Union or American tanks. Additionally, reduced repair costs and higher credit and experience earning potential would encourage more players to play with the Tiger, resulting in a more enjoyable and dynamic gameplay experience. In summary, reducing the Battle rating of the Tiger H1 and E to 4.7 would allow players to compete against more comparable competition and earn more rewards in the process, while also making the game more enjoyable for both new and experienced players!

Won’t lie. I have 10.7 in Germany but still love tigers a lot. If the pack is under 40$ I wouldn’t mind getting it myself. Friends have wanted to play with me as well and they are getting good so this would be a decent line up for them to print money and learn 5.7 BR. Plus being in a folder this could be the start for future packs like this. Is it really that bad?

The wood will probably act like a composite armor for heat rounds. Meaning m51s and pt76s will have issues getting good side shots.

It reminds me of the F-89s and, I think, the Calliope - M26T99 combo (I'm sure the M26T99 was), the only premiums as far as I know are/were grouped in a folder (and the first vehcile in those folders is quite expensive)
You could grind the entire WW2 German tree with these, add something like ME262 Canon jet and a BF109 K4 and you have a perfect lineup for Ground BR
Canon jet does bring your br up .6. If you are willing to sell your soul even more to the snail you could get the premium do335 and basically be a ww2 warthog. If not I’d use the JU188

Don't know what you complaining about little timmy if he just there having fun, you guys take the game very seriously and all I see is people complaining that there team lost, I can tell ya one thing ever since I played in 2016 the german teams have always been like this, its because nobody here is what you guys describe stereotypically, even if german mains are considered blind majority of them are a mass amount of player that also contribute on making ussr and usa main look dumb too because the game never meant to have everyone be good at in the match otherwise you have everyone get a kill each which never will consistently happen in a live match, and dont even try to bring up the vehicle itself the only ONE time a vehicle was ever considered broken as a premium was the IS-6 and that was years ago.

The reason we complain is because I can't imagine spending 70 USD on a tank to drive for about 90 seconds and get domed from across the map because you don't know how to play the game, then having to leave the match because you don't have another tank to use - thus leaving your team a man down at the start of the match, multiplied by however many of these people there are on a team - is very fun, and generally ruins the experience for everyone involved. Teams can be left with massive player disadvantages that almost guarantee a loss, while at the same time the winning team doesn't really have anything to shoot at which ruins their ability to grind in a game that already has a shitty economy. It makes matches boring, frustrating, and makes the game less fun to play.
@@travelerspookswelcome to war thunder, for the price tag I agree that $70 for a top tier is outrageous however that does not take the fact that player are player and it does not matter how much you play or how skilled you are at the end you will end up in the hanger like everyone else, you either get good games or bad and it doesn't matter if your team is good or bad at the end your team will always be mid or bad because there is no cohesive communication due to the fact that everyone is a random player that has no idea who is who, while map also create a huge influence on how player interact it also point out the flaws of many map that gaijin has made however these flaws do not reflect premium vehicle itself as these vehicle rarely has an influence on certain maps and very few vehicles actually can exploit map location most notably the VT1-2.
For the economy itself that's not the premium vehicle problem that is gaijin economy balancing problem, grinding air is more easy due to kills to xp ratio while naval has much easier grind but longer matches and que but tank in general has quite a broken economy in term of XP which I agree that they need to rework it due to the fact they rely on you getting a number of kills while the tech tree itself is massive, they either have to folder many of the vehicles or give a much higher xp percentage as grinding US, german and USSR tank tech tree from the start is absolutely depressing.
Most of the problem I see with this game isn't actually the premium vehicle but rather the game mode and the map design for these vehicle to be used, BR does take An influence however we are at a point especially top tier where everything can pen anything while also having very similar performance same goes with top tier air, gaijin has been quite lazy on implementing a variety of game mode and objectives to keep the game fresh.
its to the point where you play the game to chase after the dopamine of getting good results rather actually enjoying the game you will eventually feel burned out and uncomfortable playing the game, me playing since 2016 has changed absolutely nothing in the state of the game as it remained the same objective, the only thing changed is the longer grind and the new mechanics that these new vehicles are presenting but at the end its always the same result.

If Tigers, specifically the Tiger H1 and E versions as well as the new ost and west variamts, were to be reduced to the 4.7 Battle rating, it would provide numerous benefits to both individual players and the game as a whole. The reduced Battle rating would allow for more engaging matches against comparable tanks, such as the American M36 Jackson or the Soviet T-34-85. This would encourage aggressive gameplay and increase the rate at which players could progress through the game by earning more Silver Lions and Research Points. Furthermore, the reduced Battle rating would balance the game more effectively as it would eliminate the potential for Tiger players to be placed agianst superior Soviet Union or American tanks. Additionally, reduced repair costs and higher credit and experience earning potential would encourage more players to play with the Tiger, resulting in a more enjoyable and dynamic gameplay experience. In summary, reducing the Battle rating of the Tiger H1 and E to 4.7 would allow players to compete against more comparable competition and earn more rewards in the process, while also making the game more enjoyable for both new and experienced players!

Won’t lie. I have 10.7 in Germany but still love tigers a lot. If the pack is under 40$ I wouldn’t mind getting it myself. Friends have wanted to play with me as well and they are getting good so this would be a decent line up for them to print money and learn 5.7 BR. Plus being in a folder this could be the start for future packs like this. Is it really that bad?
