Here we go agaiin!! LETZGO!! Watching gdq runs has been my saving grace from the pandemic. After 2 years of series of online gdq, it's nice to see the runner with the commentator and some people around! So glad! God bless to all the runners, commentators, staff, and people who made this event possible.
Didn't even know GDQ was happening and this is the first run that pops up in my recommended. What a perfect surprise to come home to after work. That jetpack level skip was so sick!!

Uh. As someone who grew up playing these games, I have to ask: Is Potty some kind of Wizard? To quote Crash, "WOAH!" It's a total "Blink and you miss it" run, considering how breakneck the pace is on some of those tricks. Truly incredible. I missed the live run, but thank you for sharing this here.

I love how he was a good sport about his mistakes and even laughed at some points. It so classic from speed runners to think they've never made a mistake and always blame the game.

Wow, I never made it further than the third level as a kid, lol. So cathartic to watch you speedrun it so I can see the later levels!
This is one of the games me and my cousin played a lot growing up. Seeing how fast it can be done is incredible

Awesome stuff. One of my favorite platformers of all time. Crash 2 always felt like the sweet spot for the PS1 games.
This might just be my favourite speedrun game.
as a child i must have played this game about 15 times and crash 3 another 30, never speedrun throught the game, but i incorporated some techniques during my playthroughs now

I love GDQ! But I fell asleep right before Fnaf Security breach and woke up right after (If we even played it)it was the run i was super excited for :(

Why don't we see the ending for getting all the gems? The ending on screen is the normal ending for getting all the crystals. Is it just faster to do the crystal ending?
It’s hard built into the game, beating cortex gives you the extra % you need, you have beat him again to get the true ending
Unfortunately, you cannot access it until the credits are over and you aren’t able to skip them, I didn’t want to hold the stream up so it’s best not to show it. Wish I could have though!

I love these sorts of runs where the runner is actually playing the game and being awesome at it! I just can't muster any interest for the speedruns where running passed the enemies and glitching through/around everything is the core of it.
