so good.i can't quit watching sanditon and these videos.their chemistry is unmistakeable.u don't se it with elisa at all.i hoped he would change his mind at the end.in fact i think he wanted to when he said he didn't love elisa, but it didn't happen.his heart is definitely with charlotte..season 2 please

I don't know what's going to happen with Sidney and Charlotte because Jane Austen didn't finish Sandington because she died, but Davies will have a happy ending with them being together because that's how Jane Austen would have ended it, because all of her story's end with the 2 main characters together. And he would honor her with a happy ending like she would have written!
Well done! I noticed he tilts his head side ways, or down, and uses his eyes to follow her. Lots of nodding and so forth. Also, his clinches his jaw at the end of that last dance. Like he held back his desire.

its like the writers took specific lines/scenes from Austen's other works (even Becoming Jane) and repackaged them through these two...but this adaptation gave viewers the scenes we all knew Austen alluded to but never fully expressed

Perfect. They should never have killed off Sidney. He should have taken the clingy Eliza to Antigua. She should have died of yellow fever. Sidney could come back - wealthy and available - to Charlotte! S2 and 3 were dreadful! 😭
I don’t care how much it costs, there has to be a second season to clear up the mess caused, and have the ending that it should have had, a Jane Austen ending. It was a series without an end!

The most beautiful scene captured is the boat scene and the dance. Those beautiful eyes and smiles from 2 beautiful creatures.

The best tv show ever. But only season one. Seasons two and three are not good at all. Cannot be compared.
