I saved the best for last... NO GO train compilation is complete without a clip of the bad horns some of the cab control cars have! The last clip in this video shows how even the brand spanking new cab cars have bad horns on GO's fleet!!!

2:24 makes no sense. Why in the world would you replace an F59PH's signature horn that everyone loves with one of those ugly, characterless junk horns?
Also, the horn on Cab Car 245 sounds just like those on Tri-Rail's Bombardier Cab Cars!

Only a few times wins have perfect K5LAs these days. Thanks for catching some of the worst horns in the world! I think I heard that the F59PHs will be gone after the new MP54AC locomotives arrive. Am I right?

Yes. GO currently has one MP54 (647) but are scheduled to get more this year

Resold, down here in Southern California, we have three of them on lease to Metrolink 18520, 18522, and 18533 (ex GO 520, 522, and 533 respectively) with the first two units still in GO transit colors while the latter is in the failed MiTrain scheme. I believe NCTD And Metra also acquired a few as well.

TFN5459 No, 18533 wasn't from GO. It was from MiTrain.

Currently GO has 8 (557-564) but I haven't seen 563 or 564 on the GO tracker in a while. GO is currently upgrading their MP40s to MP54s. They already have one (647) and when the rest are converted, the F59phs will be sold or scrapped
