I *will* learn this in my lifetime. Do you use the foot to foot contact to lead and communicate in these improvisations? If so, I think I see your affinity for dancing barefoot, ...to improve or heighten the sense of touch? Beautiful dance and precision.
The leading of the foot slides is in upper body. The foot is an "illusion" in a way, just to make it look nice. I like the barefoot because it gives me more connection to the floor, and it is more gentle for the ladies feet. =) Thanks!!
When I watch you dance barefoot, ...it's not the ladies' feet I worry for ;) I'll admit, the appearance of risk adds a certain flair to the dance.
