    AND ANOTHER!! Another good performance, another three points. Resilience in the first half from the boys. Can’t do anything about the Rodriguez finish. One in a million years service from Valentin Castellanos. From us, great performance from Edward. He was very good in hold up but wasn’t afraid to advance the ball up the pitch either. Very well earned assist and always puts in a consistent performance. I think if he works on finding space in the box, he can really be a first team regular and more. What a strike from Tajon. BUCHANADA strikes again 👉😶👈. Henry getting into it with Thiago and Taty was brilliant again. And I do have to say the yellows in this were very, very questionable. Andrew, Adam, and Carles all had some very questionable yellows given to them. Not to mention James Sands, Taty, and Anton Tinnerholm all should have seen yellow as well. At the very least. Though I do have to say the NYCFC did cope well with just 10 for quite some time and forgot the red had even happened by the end of the match. With the limited time and absences we still found a way. GO REVS!!!!!!

      @paulmiller7838 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ema should stay as our starting left wing for at least a couple of games to send a message to Arnor, but also because he's been more clinical in the limited opportunities he has had. Polster was and absolute BEAST in this game. Solid in defense, clinical with his passing. Kaptoum though he did not have a fantastic game all around he did play fairly well, and made some of the NYCFC defenders look rather silly at times (even falling on their faces). NYCFC was allowed to get away with a few calls late in the game because the ref was afraid to send them down to 9 which was silly considering Taty was already going to miss next week due to yellow accumulation regardless. If it's a yellow it doesn't matter if he already has a yellow of if his team is already down a man, it's still a yellow and you show the yellow. I agree, NYCFC fought to the bitter end and give them all due credit for that. They are a team you can never take lightly.

      @@paulmiller7838 I do agree with Ema. I was surprised to see him come off at the half fro Carles but it seemed like Bruce wanted to stick with the 4-3-1-2. Though if we do return to the 4-2-3-1 in upcoming matches, Ema and Tajon in the wings would be incredible.

    Lots of guys put in a solid performance for this TEAM win tonight, but am also leery that letting Tajon Buchy boy leave to Europe won't come back to bite the Revs. Yeah, they might NOT have been able to wait to sell him during a later season and perhaps they're selling him HIGH when his value is peaking, but doubt he regresses too badly and is a "flash in the pan" as they say. The guy is obviously extremely athletic and think he brings enough talent to the table with ever improving skills to get better year after year. Wish the Revs were pulling in 10 mil for him, should have gotten more too, possibly a player back. The dude could be a 20+ goal scorer for the Revs in all honestly, his goal tonight was EPL worthy. Hope the Revs invest that money correctly and buy some nice players for the roster in exchange for Tajon.

    Nice to see the GOOD GUYS get the well deserved win here. This team is insane this season, so many well fought victories and the ability to rise to adversity with come from behind wins. Fact is MLS is a fairly new league without many legitimate rivalries and I know NYFC is rather new to MLS, but more than happy to hate those new yawk flopping cheaters (yellow card on Kessler) and it was GREAT to watch them lose AFTER leading 1-0 without Bou playing again, LOL. Keep going fellas, but that said, ANYTHING LESS than winning the chip this season will be a FAILURE/DISAPPOINTMENT. It's the REVS TROPHY to LOSE this season, safe to say. Go REVS!!!!

    "I don't know how he hurt his face on that.."
    The longer I've been into soccer, the less forgiving I am of diving and acting. It is killing the sport and is a huge reason why more Americans don't get into soccer. It's actually been such a turnoff I find myself tuning into games less and less, turning to baseball more and more.

    • @soulglo45
      @soulglo45 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's part of the game, always has been always will be just like how throwing a 90 mph fastball at a guys head on purpose in baseball is. diving hasn't hurt soccer's popularity, it will be more popular than hockey and baseball in 10 years. and honestly, soccer doesn't need Americans to flourish, as an American that's why i like it.

    • @eberlazting
      @eberlazting 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes players exaggerate it because referees would just continue the game assuming that nothing happened, VAR only reviews critical fouls. I ve played many amateur games where the referee doesnt catch all fouls so the players have to do something abt it

    • @ne270
      @ne270 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think this is largely because of the global nature of the sport. In certain areas of the world such as Northern Europe and USA/ Canada, faking injuries and flopping is considered bad sportsmanship and is scorned. However in other cultures, such as South America or Northern Africa, it’s win at all costs, so they will flop around for every tiny little advantage. It’s impossible for a sport played so widely to have a unified culture and accepted style of play I reckon.

    • @scygnius
      @scygnius 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ne270 Yes I agree, but I think that further carries my point that the MLS will continue to struggle with popularity numbers in the US due to the culture gap.
