Never pursued medium/long range. It's a blind spot in my firearms abilities. Thanks for showing this scope...it's affordable and has the features I need.

3 round keyhole at 50 yards first try is wild. Compliments to the glass, the rifle, the ammo, and the shooter lol
I have the Monstrum G3 3-18x50 and it’s incredible how good of optics you can get these days for the price. I’m not even embarrassed, especially when dudes who have really expensive optics are like “this is nice, what is this?”

The height is right on I understand about the caps though. Some good groups right out the gate and dialed in quickly 1000 here we come!

When a dude can make his own MOA ammo, he's on to something! I spent more time today perusing scopes, seems they have a 1-10 FFP LPVO that I'm interested in. Really good price!
Good evening Chris, they do have the Panzer and the Banshee in a 1-10 FFP. I personally like the Panzer better but not by much
It doesn’t take long to realize it’s so much Fun to hit Targets in another Zip Code lol keep sending my friend and stay safe. Semper Fidelis
I will add though I have had better Luck or Accuracy with a one piece Optics Mount when I use a Picatinny Rail or on an AR type Platform but I do use EGW Rings primarily also.

IMO, your rings are perfect. Closer, the better.
I love monstrums stuff, im not a long range guy and no longer hunt, my schedule just doesn't allow it, but I would likely be running that on taller rings as you said, but id also be running a fixed stock with adjustable cheek and fine tune LOP for depending on my position I'm shooting from

@@ChrisFromThe740 From hunting out west and obviously military service, I learned a couple hard lessons about how length of pull changes your accuracy
The A2 stock was developed to have a longer length of pull for shooting from prone.
Your groups are acceptable in my world too.
I worked with a guy in the ARMY I saw him take shots with an M4 well beyond anything I'd ever imagine taking, and landing, I will add he went off to a sniper platoon, my point to this is, like anything you run across the weapon is far more capable than we are, and I am not the shooter he was, so the age ole saying the gun does not make the shooter is definitely a thing

@@jw5297 I really appreciate all the info I went to Dead Zero back in April with my 224 Valkyrie and I got it out to 800 yards but after 800 yards my round was going subsonic and I couldn't get it to 1000. I used my friends 6.5 creedmoor and was able to hit 1000 so that is why I'm going to be taking this one back down.

I personally hate “chin” welds on AR’s especially with anything over 1x power. If I set a long range scope on an AR I’m happy when that objective lens is as close as possible with just enough space.
*I’ll add that as long as it’s enough space to add the flip caps then it’s good with me, if you don’t have enough room then thats a bummer for sure.
How did it fit your eye…. Was it natural/comfortable as to where you place your cheek?
I'm really happy with the eye relief the eye box and where everything sits it just would have been nice to be able to use the caps with everything right out of the box

I'm really happy with the eye box and they call the Reticle a Type H Reticle which is just basically their version of MOA reticle. I have pictures of the reticle in the unboxing video. I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment.

Good looking setup Chris. I'd shoot that set-up for sure. Only gun i have for long range is my converted mosin. Been out too three hundred yards with it, but im not sure if i would be very accurate much further out, but digging that scope. Good vidja brother.

I definitely don't need a scope like this around here but it will be awesome to have when I go back to Dead Zero
I had that same rifle. No matter what ammo I ran through it I would get 2 touching and one flyer. Mine shot the best with Norma whitetail 140s
I have got a reload for this gun now that shoots amazing.
Have you set the zero stop yet? When I set mine, I only get just shy of a full turn of height adjustment....am I doing something wrong?
I'm not really sure what is going on with yours I have another video walking this out to 800 yards . I just grabbed mine and I can get almost 3 full rotations on mine with a 100 yard zero and using the scope rings that came with it

@ChrisFromThe740 I have a monstrum on a 7.62x39 ar I built. It was one of their first gen for like 75..
It has held zero pretty good and been on gun several years now
