I have seen Parakeets and Parrots 🦜 in Ana María Beach (Manatee County) 🏝 and in Hillsborough county in general. I haven’t seen any in Polk county yet (where I am at) but I live in the county line area. I could see one sooner or later. And since my backyard is a jungle there might be some in my backyard in the future 😄😃
I have seen the same group of four monk parakeets twice here in Orlando, FL last month. They seem to be moving up from South Florida or the Gulf Coast.
Very cool! I have Quaker Parrots and I’ve see a flock in Cape Coral, Florida at the CC Yacht club beach. I also saw a flock of Nanday parakeets in Fort Myers Florida. I moved here from Brooklyn New York and there’s a huge flock of Monks at the Brooklyn cemetery... and believe it or not a big flock in Hyde Park in Chicago 🥶 Thanks for sharing the love.
I have seen them at Saint Pete beach in Florida but occasionally see them in my backyard in Clearwater. I am interested in what berries they eat. I would like to plant something in my backyard that they would eat so they come by more often. I usually see them fly around in groups of 6 to 10 and they are fairly loud birds.
Plant a mango tree..lol..they will eat them. Everbearing mulberry is good too since they will fruit quickly, and also produce heavily. They love fruit in general!
Miami, broward and the keys and full of feral parrot species. There are many wild populations here, they say it was due to hurricane andrew back in 1992, and all the exotics escaped from the miami zoo and found eachother and reproduced. 30 yrs later...there ya have it😄
I saw red large parrots flying over the stadium ♥️ there are large populations of feral parrots all over coral gables. I do know the blue and gold macaw populations are there as well😉
Yesterday one of the parrot flock that everyday make a stop at my house palm seems it crash high with electric wires and fell alive to the ground i took care of it unfortunately he died today , so sad i feel
@@epileptiquitopark7971 It so hard when things like this happen. I have been there with animals who I could do nothing for. It is heartbreaking. Death is a part of life, and something we are powerless over unfortunately. We can do all we can save them, but at the end of the day that is all we can do. When it is their time it is their time. 😢 Sometimes all we can do is keep them comfortable in their last moments, and be there with them so they are not alone. I know It's still painful, and tragic though. I pray for comfort for you. Maybe you will see that little bird again one day, and it will thank you for caring for it
Daily basis here on Anna Maria Island in Florida
Always in large groups of 20+ flying over and in the trees, very verbal and loud❤
That must be magical to see 🥰 when I went to Ft desoto last year there were tons on nanday parrots flying around everyday too lol
