2. SOUNDBITE (English) Mick Jagger, recording artist:
“It felt good you know, I mean, we've been looking for that for a long time. Made the album thing offensive February. I mean, had to wait a long time for it to get all the bits and pieces together to put it out. And so we're very excited about it. So it's great to be doing it in London and it feels really very good.”
(Reporter: “Was it hard to keep a secret because fans can crack codes can’t they. How was it to keep under your hat for so long?”)
Jagger: “We just I'm surprised we managed to because, you know, normally Ronnie talks to everyone about everything, so 'Ronnie you can't talk about this album.' So, I mean, you can say we've been recording, but. No. And it was hard to keep it all under your hat.”
3. SOUNDBITE (English) Ronnie Wood, recording artist:
“Oh, yeah. It's so frustrating. I just want everyone to have a copy of it, you know? And yeah, it is a very difficult thing to think of something else. You know, you can't talk about the album because they can't hear the music yet. Yeah.”
(Reporter: "And how does it feel to, like, launch it here today with everyone? And obviously you've got really excited fans everywhere.”
Wood: “Yeah, I really feel satisfaction of relief of 'Yes, at last people can hear this baby we've been working on,' you know, we love it.”
4. Wide of Keith Richards
SOUNDBITE (English) Keith Richards, recording artist:
“Sometimes things just happen. And I think it was because we were on the road and Mick has some stuff and said, 'It's time, you know, if we're going to do one, let's do it now.' So we sort of blitzkrieg this one. You know, it's like energy, urgency. I know when you have a singer that wants to sing, then you grab him and throw him in the studio. I mean, that's probably the reason there was no particular now or it's just that's what happened, you know? I mean, the Stones are weird, right?”
5. Cutaway Jagger

7. SOUNDBITE (English) Keith Richards, recording artist:
“We have Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga is on there. Sir Paul (McCartney). Macca turned up as well. So, yeah, but it just so happened, Andrew Watt, the producer, that he was making records with these people and they just sort of like, 'OK, come on by,' you know. And we had worked with Lady Gaga before and we were on the road with Stevie Wonder in the seventies. So, I mean, all of them have, like, nothing new, so, 'Come on in if you've got anything to offer,' you know, I think.”
8. SOUNDBITE (English) Ronnie Wood, recording artist:
“It's a wonderful collaboration. But the main thing is that the boat was pushed off shore by the band and anybody wanting to jump on was fine. But the thing is, we have to keep the core of the band going, which is. You know, rocking.”
(Reporter: “It must have been bittersweet without Charlie.")
Jagger: “Well, yeah, it was difficult, but we remember - we had done two tours with him, so going to the studio was an extension of that. And you know, you would sometimes think, 'Oh, what would Charlie play on that? But you can't really go there, you know? And Steve Jordan is the drummer and he's like, he's very special like Charlie So sometimes he plays what I think he imagines Charlie would just play to some degree, but still being his own guy, you know? And you've got to be your own guy. And he, he sounds great on this record but he does play some things that remind you of some of Charlie's licks. Even so.”

Im so glad that they included Charlie on the album.
Sir MICK Jagger Great Lock and Fantastic New Album. Best Frontmann forever and ever in the World Thanks ROLLING STONES!!!!!!👉💯👅🎸👏👅🎸👏👅🎸👏🔥💥
For one thing he has a normal, nice haircut. Not these weirdo short-shit haircuts. He doesn't "conform" to others (as sooo many people do). He looks ALIVE because he IS alive and non conformist, is my opinion of why he looks so great.
I am now 63 and they give us all hope for the future. Just great to see.
I’m 62 ain’t it great.
I am now 61
A humble Mick Jagger!
I seen the Stones last year and Mick did not stop moving around It was unreal energy !!!
Mick is 80 years old and still kicking. Amazing
These guys ARE Rock & Roll..!!! God bless them!
Absolutely wonderful beautiful people, can you imagine the amount of pleasure they've given people all over the world" absolutely phenomenal" yes its what they do,but isn't it fantastic'
Still my favorite after all these years ♥️ Can’t wait to hear the new album
Kudos for bringing new tunes for the fans. Angry is a fantastic tune. Well done! Thank you!
That video though….totally lame bad eighties look.

Tend to agree about Video!!
It very much reminded me of 'Don't Stop' video but that was a lot more fun!!
The song's great though !!

It's amazing how much Mick Jagger wants to work. He doesn't have to. Time waits for No Man. So Thankful. Saved by Grace plus Faith plus Nothing else. 🌄⌛🎶
These guys are amazing and the 🐐 s of R&R 🖤
Love that they still want to rock. Hopefully I can see them in concert soon.
Or maybe a retirement home😂
It's amazing how they are still in the game after 60 years. Saludos desde la patria stone🇦🇷 ❤
Actually, it’s amazing they are still alive. Really!

Not just in the game but this man cover 80 foot of stage from end to end and that takes a lot of hard work and discipline at his age and has for some time now. They slowed it down a little. During Voo Doo Lounge tour which I worked in Pittsburgh had ego ramps that went clear to the 50 year line on each side of the stadium., Mick would on one side all the way out the ramp and 30 seconds later he is on the other 50 yard line, That's helluva jog singing and trying to breathe all the while. I watched most of that show from the mix position because I had a pass and I was amazed at how good it sounded and felt where I was watching from. Best rock and roll band ever.
Their longevity is inspiring -
Love this and this band
Love ya Mick. Throughout my life such an influence you are. All you guys are a blessing . Thank you for everything.
The best rock band in the world nobody ever will have the same talent they absolutely the best.

Mick and Keith. The great men. Rock on, gentlemen.
We missing Charlie 😢❤😢
In 1965 Mick told an interviewer that the Stones would probably last another year or so!
Yup he said he didn’t want to be in a wheel chair at 40 singing Satisfaction ( something to that effect). lol he was 22 at the time.
Best rock band ever ..❤

It’s refreshing to see people not nipped and tucked. Don’t Get Angry With Me is kick ass. 🤟🏼❤️
The fellas have looked old since they started the sneering in the early days. Loved them since ‘67.
Mick and the band really miss Charlie. His spirit is with them.❤
@lindaread9838... It's nice that the Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have kept the memories of Charlie Watts alive after his death in 2021 sad that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards did not do the same for Brian Jones with his death in 1969, after all Brian Jones was the original founding member of the Rolling Stones back in 1962,
@@drewpall2598your so right about that it was Brian Jones who really started the whole thing with The Rolling Stones back in 1962 he formed and named the band picked the members for his band and wanted them to play only RnB and blues and to this day the stones never admit Brian started the band to this day and the stones never mention how important Bill Wyman was to the band but in an interview Keith said when Bill left he said the stones just lost part of the engine it broke off and fell but atleast the other half of the engine is on without Bill it’s not the stones no Wyman no Stones the whole band should have called it a day after steel wheels Bill did the right thing he didn’t wanna do it anymore he stopped and they were all getting old they should retire already
@@mikebarooshian7255 over the years it was Bill Wyman who acknowledge that Brian Jones created the band named the band witch songs to play got them gigs and made sure they got to the venue on time.
Mike you might enjoy what Donovan has to say about Brian Jones, Donovan also jams with Brian's grandson Joolz Jones and the Juke, a live blues tribute to Brian Jones, they play the Classic Blues Songs that Brian Jones seriously studied from the age of 13,

Who would have thought a band i listened to while still in High School 1964-65 would still be going strong 60 years later. Maybe there is something to say about sex, drugs and rock n roll❤
The Stones' Satisfaction was the star of the show at my grade 8 graduation prom. Every amateur guitar player in the school had a go at it.
This was June of 1965, the very same month the hit single was released.
It didn't take us kids long to realize it was something special.

I Love you so much Mick!!!!!
How do you replace Charlie ? You don't. Steve Jordan is the perfect the only choice. A Legend in his own right. As a Drummer 🥁 I was remiss. Now I'm excited to hear it. The Stones in the House. 🎉😊

Everyone has their opinion, to me the boys from Dartford were and are the greatest rock n roll band ever.
Very exciting to hear Charlie live again. Master drummer.
Charlie Watts, the human drum machine and the worst drummer of the 60s.
I'm so freaking grateful for you boys putting Charlie on a couple of tracks it was everything 🎉🎉. Mick,Keith and Ronnie you are all a class act for doing that.God Bless you guys 🎉🎉

Charlie's good tonight, in't he. Thank you Charlie RIP.
Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the worlds greatest rock n roll band!,,,,
Jeez! Looking at these guys, as much as i admire them, i must be old!
It was almost five years ago; my late brother Charlie received a phone call from Keith Richards. That was late fall of 2018, a few weeks before he discovered that he had stage four cancer. He met Mr. Richards on an island in the Caribbean in the early 90s, and they ended up hanging out at Keith's house for most the decade (and into the 2000s). Then they sort of lost contact with each other; that is, until that phone call from Keith in the fall of 2018. Brother Charlie died in March of 2019. I showed up at his deathbed the day before he died-with a Bible-and started reading from 1 John 3 & 4. Then I started reading from John 11 (the raising of Lazarus), but our mother got all upset and yelled at me to stop. Her name is Martha. I always liked the part from John 11 when Jesus tells her that her brother will rise again.
Charlie passed on in August 2021, and he had no brother (just a sister), so what are you talking about @romanticandperky? ( *your late brother* ?) His mom's name was not Martha... So sad... or maybe, you were talking about a brother you had, Hugo? (The way you wrote was quite confusing...) I apologize...
Rest in Power, dear Charlie...You will never be forgotten, your legacy lives on!

@@MelodyFox My name is Thomas; and yes, I was talking about a brother I had. His name was Charlie; and he met Keith Richards in the early 90s, and ended up spending the night together with him and his family at his house, numerous times. That went on for about 10 years until 2002 or thereabouts. Then in late 2018, my late brother Charlie got a phone call from Keith. If I remember correctly, Keith Richards' brother-in-law is a Baptist minister.
I love the Don't Get Angry With Me!! You're The Rolling Stones ❤🎉🎉💯🥳!!
Ron is a sweet guy and what player, always doing something.
Mick's PR women is nice 😊
Thanks🎉
Last time I saw them launch an album was downtown Toronto in the mid 80's at a local bar. I guess it was a closed session for media. I was on a lunch break from a dive apartment building where I worked around the corner. I went by these guys arguing and shoving just outside and walked right in. Lo and behold, just before they came on, I was expecting a cover band, I was at a table by myself and people around me were talking about the stones. But who comes out for a few songs....Rolling Stones. Two songs for me, back to work.
Inigualável, atravessaram seis décadas e ainda estão em modo ativo ❤😎👏👏👏👏👏
Que vida esses músicos levam e um peso de responsabilidades mas há compensações😊
And Stevie Wonder said Jagger looked the same as in 1972
Ehm........
Haha
It's only rock n roll, but we like it.....

I never get sick of Miss You but, for some unknown reason, Rough Justice is often playing in the back of my head. I can still see him on stage at super bowl performing Rough Justice. Ron Wood and Keith Richards were absolutely captivating, ESPECIALLY Ron Wood with the slide guitar.
Non of them. They have great songs too.

they've been saying that for decades so there must be some truth in it
And Ronnie confirmed it :)

Ol Jazz man Charlie eh, RIP
I recall a teen magazine from 1967 and Mick said [i am paraphrasing from memory] "Rock and roll is for young people. I never want to end up like Elvis and be 30 years old and still trying to play rock music." pretty amazing but true. It was an interview with Mick in a magazine like Tiger Beat
@essessessesq... Enjoy these Grace Slick's quotes.
"Anyone who's 71 years old would look ridiculous singing rock."
Grace Slick
"All rock-and-rollers over the age of 50 look stupid and should retire"
Grace Slick
"I don't like old people on a rock and roll stage. Me included."
Grace Slick
"I left rock and roll professionally at about 49. That's too long as far as I'm concerned. Some people can do it; it depends on what you were."
Grace Slick
thanks, Gracie was right!@@drewpall2598
Look at these bold guys, singing Satisfaction at 80!
good for them. not easy touring around at 80. keep it going long as you can. especially surprising for Keith given his substance abuse issues for years. I'm guessin there's a bit to be said for genetics and the immune system, his are apparently cast iron
Examples of the benefits of righteous living.
Great the Rolling stones 🔥🔥🔥 keep on Rocking 🙌💙👩🦳

The Rolling Stones just announced their new album, Hackney Diamonds, is coming out October 20, and there’s no doubt fans are excited. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will be touring to support the record, and it sounds like those fans won’t be disappointed.
When asked by ABC News whether they’re planning a new tour, Ronnie Wood confirmed it will be happening. “Oh, America we have penciled in for next year,” he shared. “And we really hope we can finish off what we started last time.”
I want a tour like 40 licks with different sized Venues and setlists
A truly great great band and thank god they are just ageing and are resisting the trend to go plastic.

I Love Keith's laugh........ Pirate!!
Secret! They talk about it for a decade! And now 12 songs are coming, pretty creative. Charlie said around 1985/89 : “we are here for about 25 years and we worked 5 years”. What do you think about the later 35 years?
Stones Rule!
yeah long life wonderful guys
" The Stones are weird right?". Don't argue with Keith !! 🤣❤️
It's about time we had a Sir Mick and a Sir Keef
Mick was knighted, but Keith refused
True Keith said he wouldn't want to become knighted because that was giving in to the establishment. Keith was in fact annoyed that Mick got knighted
I don't think he's ever forgiven "the establishment"for teir arrest in the 1960's@@janiceellery1653
In his book Keith said ‘ I wouldn’t let anyone from that family near me with a stick , let alone a sword’. He’s not a big fan of the Royals. My family if from the UK. I don’t mind them. I think was pleased to do it as it made his father very proud. After all it was Joe that got Mick into fitness at an early age which is why he can still do it.
