Timothy Shultz a powerball winner which was also on the lottery changed my life show , interviewed Bert some time ago , and it was cool to see he was still cooking, and traveling. Tim is still following his dream of production , and is interviewing other lottery winners. Good luck to all you lottery players.
I have a question... Why do people hand their ticket to store clerk to check if it's a winner?? That's the quickest way to get robbed. A clerk tried to steal my relatives' winning ticket. Clerk scanned it and said it wasn't a winner. My relative had already scanned it, and wanted to verify and claim the amount. So when clerk said $0, my relative knew it was a lie. She got her ticket back after clerk tried to play crazy. Be careful with your tickets.
And here in the UK too it would still be 75 million. I can’t believe how these lottery companies get away with giving them a lot less if they choose the lump sum. And I can’t believe how much they have to pay to the state/government in taxes, it’s just crazy, cheeky state/government should buy there own bloody ticket!
She won 1M then she only ended up getting $260K. That's sick. In Australia and NZ lotto win is tax free. You only starts paying tax from the lotto win income from investments.
Joe was spending like he cleared $100 million after taxes. $25 million with all those toys and a nascar team?? A NASCAR team?! That sounds like a money pit
I have considerable chunks set aside for Frank, Astrid, Bernadette and Julie for when I win the lottery, out of gratitude, oh and a slightly smaller one for Marianne, too - and a big one for myself of course, for food and stuff, because food is the most important thing in life - and if there's enough left, I will also send a chunk to my siblings, just to teach them a lesson in humility. I'll buy a van. Oh, and a saxophone. And a violin. That's about it. Oh, and healthcare/dentistry bills. No big house, no big boat, none of that. A tiny hut, maybe, with solar panels and the patch of land that it's on. (I hate most of the houses that they show in this show, but that doesn't bother me. As long as the people who live in them are happy with them.) Renting out homes for profits is for leeches. Sorry. Buy one home instead and house a veteran in it or whatever. It will make you much happier. 😊
Winning the lottery would be amazing -- but what we really need is to rebuild the middle class that has enough cash in their pockets to live comfortably.
Why is the lump sum payment after taxes so low?! Only ending up with roughly 1/3 of what you actually should have won is an utter joke! Thank the Lord that doesn’t happen here in the UK.
If you hit the lottery? You should be able to keep at least 3/4 of the money.. You win $75 million but take home $25mil & still have to pay taxes on everything you buy & when you die. I mean, yeah, $25mil is great but that's like me hitting 5 out of 6 numbers last year in TX & missing out on $38mil by 1 dagum number! I still play though & I would definitely hide my identity here in TX.
Well if u choose the lump sum, they take a lot of money off your winnings. Then you need to pay taxes and there you go… even though going from 1 million to 260k is daylight robbery
Any lottery wins are taxed multiple times. You end up with only 40% of the original number. That's why a lot of ppl end up broke, they spend like they won the whole amount instead of the taxed amount. It's crazy.
State and federal will do that. State cuts it in half depending on where you live, then federal comes in and takes 40% off. 1M - 500k will take it to 500k then 40% is another 200k so you’re down to 300k or so which is about right.
I remember when Joe won his millions I hope he is doing well and still have plenty of money. The spending can get out of control. This can be a blessing and a curse, you have to use wisdom or the money will use you. When I win the lottery I will buy a house and a car. That's it!! I will let the principal earn interest. Congratulations winners...😂🎉
Once again I feel like the winners waste their money on a lot of cars and big homes. These so called toys are a waste of money in my opinion. If I ever won I would be frugal and wise with my money. Helping out family members, donating by helping others and doing home repairs and buying land in the country and of course I would need a new vehicle because mine is old. I hope these people sit down and really think smartly about their spending.Oh and I thought that was terrible winning like 75 million and only getting around 25 in the end. That is really a rip off!!!!! Good luck to all the winners. ☮️👍
Most people will never do later what they aren't doing now.. if you're frugal now you won't be later, if you're not helping family now it's a good chance you won't later. A good heart never waits on the size of an amount to help but an opportunity. Money typically exposes who you are it rarely creates who you are.. General statement.
@mttw they were married sure, but they weren't living together, much of their marriage was spent living apart, yes he went broke, and yes, Lola left him, then he died..
😂I was just thinking the same thing …who the hell buys a whole nascar team lmfao 🤣 am dying here listening to him talk about paying his full time on site mechanics 750k a year ….absurd but hey live it up buddy I’ll buy a giraffe and a tiger 🐅 with my earnings when it happens 😂

Its nice to see how differently ppl spend their money and enjoy life.🎉
The 3.5mil winner made his winnings go really far & doesn't seem to have lost his head. I admire that.
Money can solve alot of problems 😊
Amen 🙏🏾
But can create even more
Yes 99% of them!
But not all.

Crappy Jack doesn’t have nothing left except a custom bass boat - SO ITS ALL GOOD. Stellar purchase 👏👏
Your tech skills are amazingly professional. I love watching your channel!
WTF? From 75 million to 25 million? Here in Canada it'd still be 75 million.
Unless u take the lump sum. Not sure the percentage tho.
The decrease is absolutely shocking.
75 million is the number if you took the 30 year annuity.
@@thatguysteff They still charge taxes.

Yes we are

We have the same tax laws in South Africa. The IRS is really scamming Americans to the core and it is sad 🫢
1.7 billion to 1 odds is crazy af
Joe is so funny ahaha. Tell’em it’s cash..i don’t finance anything 💀💀💀
@8:53 and yet you can safely bet that not 1 of the people ever featured on this show for winning the lottery have ever been bitten by a shark!
Why are people so obsessed with cars?
It’s a “hey, look at me thing”. Terrible investments usually. Unless you are buying a super rare car that could appreciate in value.
No, you have to be a car person to understand… I don’t buy cars to flash them.. I buy them as they are my passion..
@@edjohn4590yeah, that dude was really into cars, and no run off the mill Maserati and Lamborghini and what not stuff.
For me, its bc they look cool. Lamborghini, Pagani, Koenigsegg, etc
The race car dream team ran out of gas in six years. It’s crazy that winners think they have the skills to run a business.
Joe was spending like he cleared $100 million after taxes. $25 million with all those toys and a nascar team?? A NASCAR team?! That sounds like a money pit
I’m shocked that out of winning $1M, you only clear $260k after tax.
me too, i was thinking the same. damn
America is craze. The funny is them giving you a check of the amount you won't receive.
@@bongarozani272 So true! We’re tax free on lottery wins in our country.
Other countries take out the tax before showing the amount to be given away.
I said the same thing!!!!
When I win the lottery I will buy four houses put them for rent investments..😊

Yes. Rental Apartments Building Not Houses That Will Just Sit There Empty And Be Paying Bills On It. He Will Be Broke Soon
Winning the lottery would be amazing -- but what we really need is to rebuild the middle class that has enough cash in their pockets to live comfortably.
I bet Joe's broke and divorced now.
The only one entity who always 100% of the lottery is the government
GOOD LUCK 🎁🎁🎁
Nascar dude is not smart w his money at all
but if he wins and keep winning he will earn his money back, Nascar is a billion dollar business.
NASCAR guy is fine he has $25M he can spend half a million a year and be good
@@jason4275He Will Be Broke Now. No Common Sense
From what I counted dude still has 20 million dollars to burn
Winner of lottery jackpot ❤🎉

Willis didn't know When it Comes to Money everyone Will put the Stuff on Whoever."
Wow I can't believe how much huge lottery winnings are taxed so much in America. From 75 mils to 25 mils is a big drop.
One thing I have learned is when you die-it either gets sold off or thrown out. So, Why?
lottery winner talking to a rabbit " you future dinner you know that ? "
That was despicable!!!!!

Do you still get money for 5 out of 6 correct numbers?
Should have taken the yearly payment!
Bunch of folks who didn't deserve or appreciate the money
I know getting taxed half or more sucks but it's still free money I wouldn't complain at all
From 1 million dollars to around 260 something thousand dollars is ridiculous why did the state that much?
She came back after she saw the money.
My husband already won Euro millions lottery jackpot thank you Gururimpoche ji
jack is a little foolish with money but on the other hand a hell of a man
The math AIN'T mathing....
Why do they only get $260k, if the won $1M?
They should have gotten it all.
Well if u choose the lump sum, they take a lot of money off your winnings. Then you need to pay taxes and there you go… even though going from 1 million to 260k is daylight robbery
The PCH wins are taxed HEAVILY for some reason. It's still a wonderful prize, but you certainly don't walk away with anything close to what you win.
Any lottery wins are taxed multiple times. You end up with only 40% of the original number. That's why a lot of ppl end up broke, they spend like they won the whole amount instead of the taxed amount. It's crazy.

I can't see them double taxing. Taxing is 37% unless you live in the state that collects that extra tax.
Hold on, she won a million on the publishers clearing house and got $260,000 after taxes?
I remember when Joe won his millions I hope he is doing well and still have plenty of money. The spending can get out of control. The Lottery is the extra Tax on us poor folks, how is it fair you are only able to keep less than half of your winnings?
Well, glad in Canada we keep it all.

Crappy jacks is closed and crappy jack is flat broke.. i mean flat broke, lola left him again after he became homeless

This isn’t true. Jack passed away in September 2023 and his obituary states he is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Lola.
