Dear Mandee, maybe i am late but i want to suggest you not to learn ballroom but Tango Argentino, they are very different. As dance , Tango has his own soul, becoming almost a person the more you go on dancing it. Ballrooom doesn't.
@@JuliaJuliati lots of joint injuries and no hot young dance partner lol I have danced in the past though i was getting up to silver medals when I hurt my shoulder and I've had lots more injuries and back problems from having children but i can still dance but not to your standard

This music is too chopped up for tango. This couple danced to music by a group called Narco Tango. That music and the dance went together in a beautiful, smooth and flowing way Nothing wrong with this song, just not for this dance.

I'm glad you made it clear as i'd hate to criticise the whole performance based on how bad the footwork was compared to the music. I saw your second video and it was fabulous. What i will never understand is why people mess with the music on a choreography. It creates silly flaws to the performance and makes good dancers look foolish. If i had, tho, to pick one thing that has room for improvement was the lifts. It felt like there was some kind of insecurity from the both of you whenever your partner was lifting you, a slight shake and the landings were kinda on safe mode executed rather than having you slide naturaly to the ground. Still one of the very good argentine tango videos on youtube.
