I feel attacked. I was watching your helmet straps flap in the wind and thought about how pointless a helmet is without it being secured right as you mentioned how mad I would be if you didn't buckle up.
@@c.daubz.5386 Yea and the ones that didn't are...? What is survivor bias? Feel free to choose whether you want to wear a helmet or not, but the very minor discomfort (ex:seatbelts / helmets) for the huge safety benefits has been proven. I'd imagine at least 90%+ of the survivors (and their families/friends) of a major accident advocate for helmet usage in most cases. Anyways, rock on brother
bros, after riding with you guys for the past 11 minutes, i just gotta say this. your vibes: the best. Your banter: so chill. Overall awesomeness: 100.
Jeff definitely handicapped himself for this range test. We all know he increased wind resistant with his long sleeve and helmet strap flaps by 0.42069%
Thing 1) I AM BEYOND ECSTATIC to see over 32 miles capable!!! I deeply appreciate ya'll showing all of us the Dream board is more than possible, but probable! Thing 2) Excellent Fun/Real world range test! Would really help to know: Rider's weight, Temp°, average speed and tire size(s). PrayerFully this late summer ya'll will be hearing from me for a dream project.
22:02 that setup is great for consistent power even for heavy riders up & down hills keeping us safe, also be nice to have extra range to ride on the street to the off road courses, then ride courses through day and ride back home without having to charge
If VOW boards become more accessible, FM will have a problem. Double the GT S battery and higher top speed are pretty wild, but we have to remember that the VOW board also weighs more.
Excited to see your video as always. Thank you for doing the range test! Finally a range test that actually hit the uppers limit. GT advertised as 20-32 Miles where as real rider can get between 17-24miles. When this one does goes 32 miles, no gimmick of advertised range.
good video as always! There is someone in the Vescify working on a Grand Tour board where they are going to fit batteries in both the nose and tail, and stick the controller in the hollow hub of a Cannon Core It'd be fun to compare that board with FM and the Vow board when it's finished!
Fyi for anyone playing at home. You really don't want to drop your cell voltage below 3.2v per cell; below that it's when you start getting into battery damage territory. 32 miles on a onewheel is pretty epic.
Vesc is the way, I got a Vesc shortly after y’all’s first video on Vesc (I was planning on it for a minute) I’ve never looked back. My board isn’t a range board at all so I find myself not riding it as much as I want to. I’d like to get a 84v pack but big in my xr frame, I’m rocking the small pack for now
Nice! Hit all the familiar spots between Folsom and Sactown (including one of our favorite Taco Tuesday restaurants). That American River route is perfect for range tests. 🤙🏼⚡️💯
lol you guys are right down the road from me, I would love to come and hang out and learn, I am a diy maker in the realm of electronics so I would love to link up!
Give Ruroc a look. Among the best on the market. I use the RG1-DX since I can take off the "face plate" if I want to go half-helmet for a second (or just eat😂).
I was thinking the same thing! The VOW used 95% and the GTS used 187%. I've seen like 10-20% range loss listed for GT over GTS so if we say 15%, it would probably have been close to 159% drained on the GT. In this setting the VOW has ~97% more range than a GTS and around ~67% more than a GT!
@@uhjyuff2095 probably not, and they didn’t mention PSI/ what tires are on the board or how old the batteries are but these are just some napkin math numbers haha
@@nicoaleman dude we should have a "okay but how far can it go really" and just give you high as PSI and send you on a day trip 😂😂, need two EUC's to match that range

Not with that attitude. If you really want to vesc your board you can research and learn. That’s what I’m going to do. Lucky for us we can stand on the backs of giants like these. Nuts motha fuca! FOMF

helmet for video only obviously

I love that y'all are going so hard with VESC boards. You're the trend setters of the Onewheel world, the rest will follow.

We need a vesc package now Jeff I beg
Floatwheel is working on a drop in pcb for all boards atm
Things only a duck hunter says. “Switch the gun don’t reload”

Guys when is the 5" N52 hub coming back in stock for the GT? Tier 2 member here
Hearing the VOW being a great commuter board makes me wonder what a great trail board looks like for you guys (gonna assume its an 84v XR)

The Jessie drop had vibes too :D
Yo hello there bro, you know we need the range around here :D
We have a 130 miles trip ahead of us, with hopefully 60 other riders!
Epic content.
Super cool you tried out and acknowledged the squishies grip!
TFL comfort grip coming soon? 😁
11:37 skilled rider camera man to film an ride with those guys though

The intro is a front side slide into a bonk. Is that an NBD in real life? Would love to see someone pull it off.
You’re just really out there scouting for turkey season lol
I'll go 10, charge break, go 15, have a meal somewhere and charge again, go another 10-15 miles home in a day, perfect adventure day
Love this!🤙
Man, I want that range. My floatwheel does pretty good though. How much is a rough cost to build a VOWgt?
the Floatwheel range test was 25 miles in another video.
I would do this to my board, where is the recipe?
How do I build these boards?
Check out VOW Systems. They built this beast.
Need the mushies!
Muscles Malone you got 26 mph get it!
When is TFL dropping the new motor and software?
They definitely ain’t dropping a Vesc hardweare kit, but they may drop everything but a controller lol
Have you've seen anyone over 300lbs ride a onewheel. Thinking about getting a xr used and not sure if itll push me.
Can't believe you guys live in my Area viva California ❤❤❤😊😊😊😂😂😂 does are my favorite trails there love you guys fire🔥 video like always
What helmets are those??? I have a gt and need a comfy helmet! Mine sucks

How heavy is the Vow GT?

Pretty much identical to the floatwheel
says 27.7 top speed, pretty melow XD
I really want to build my own one wheel but I'm not sure I'm mechanically inclined enough to make it work

What’s the name of the board?
check out their previous video, they talk about what the board is more in that one
