Thank you for this review Zachary. Looking at LR Baggs Voiceprint DI and the Fishman Spectrum was brought up. Sounded really nice 😊 but you’re right about ability to save settings 😬.
Great video I’ve been looking into a di for acoustic gigging and was only seriously looking at the tonedex & voiceprint but then stumbled across the aura. I’m having trouble knowing what would be best for my rig though. Currently I just run my guitar (Martin road series) & vocals all through one pa. Do you think the aura or any di would be okay to run through a pa w vocals as well?
I've used one for years. There are lots of pluses and minuses. If you have an undersaddle pickup with lots of piezo 'quack'...then this unit can really help. I have two guitars with LR Baggs Anthem (awesome by themselves) and one with a K&K mini (sounds 'good', but not as good as the Anthem) Most of the stored tones in the Aura are really quite bad. I would never use them by themselves. But Fishman says the best way to use the Aura is a mix of your guitar, and the pedal. They say the best is somewhere between 40-60%....which means somewhere between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock on the blend knob. But honestly most of the time I use 100% guitar and don't use any of the stored sounds. I know that sounds like a waste of a pedal, but it's paid for and I like having eq at my feet. (instead of having to fumble over to the mixer.) I do have a 12 string with an undersaddle, and the Aura helps me dial out the quack. Also, for a one knob compressor, it's great. Would I buy it again? No...I'd buy a compressor and an eq.
One question because it sounds too good to believe the sound of the guitar was recorded only directly to the zoom h5 , did you have the capsule on too? I mean before you started the blending…
I think that violin could work well with this preamp - not sure if there are any violin profiles from fishman but you could find some from third parties and upload them to them pedal.
I have one, seldom used, loved it when It was operational. Bought it in Denmark st London. Recently i had a gig I wanted to use it as a 12 string emulator, No sound came out !!!!! 🥵😱😨😰😥 It was always in the box in my guitar case, well preserved. Sent it to my friendly Guitar shop. He says its Kaputzzz, cant be repaired. My advice, Dont Buy !

Thanks for the video, you have a great delivery. Would love to see that 00 with the concert setting and matching tone wood….
Yah I have to try that!
Great video! Love to see a review on studio monitors!
Excellent video Sir. Really hard to get a great acoustic recording wth Piezo direct. This is awesome.

I would run the aura for the guitar and plug the vocal in to a mixer before going right in to a powered speaker. Hope that helps!
Problem about aura gallery III. It is not working on Windows 10. There is error at install process and program not starting. Anyone can help?
Shame its got no reverb, otherwise a great unit, thanks for the video.

It’s just the direct sound, all mics are muted when the guitar is playing.
Have you used this DI at high volume yet? Wondering how the anti feedback is working out.
I have used this on big stages and the anti-feedback is pretty great!
Will that override the preamp that came installed in my Cordoba Fusion
Hello Zachari I am playing violin do you no if aura it's good for me or I need fishman tonedeq than you

Here is someone who tests these pedals with a violin.
His TH-cam name is: Andres Zuniga. Link below.
