Van Gerwen hates to lose, but he is always a true gentlemen. As Clayton said a few months ago, coming to his hotel room and congratulating him and speaking to his family. Absolute sportsman where many players can learn a lot from!

PHENOMENAL darts from Peter, aint many that have spanked MVG like that, monstered him, be tough to hit the same levels in the final tho. Go Get Him Snakebite

MVG wasn't even playing poorly in the beginning. Peter just kept hitting maximums, and doubles so quickly that there was little he could do. MVG showed true class after the match too.

Since Phil Taylor retired i always like to see Wright do well, He frustrates me when he keeps changing darts and it clearly effects his game, I just wonder how good he could be if he ever found the dart which made him not want to change. Hope he wins the final, I know the belgian is liked but i think he is a little strange to be honest.

@@liamanderson6191 that is just for tv. He dont go to asda looking like that. And I'm sure dimi dont dance his way walking down the road. It's just my opinion on dimi really.. I did say I know hes liked so I knew people would disagree. He mumbles to himself a lot like a full blown convo. Then when he checks out he is motionless. Just staring for far too long. I just dont feel him.
@@kimbarfoot5251 think he said he does that to calm himself down and doesn’t let it out sometimes even though he wants too because it wastes energy and fires himself up too much and he plays worse like that
I think if Wright stuck to the same set he wouldn't be as good. He's making a great career chopping and changing!

I do not like Peter Wrong he is slow dull and boring got no personality but I wanted him to beat Dancing Dimitrius and the Gladiators for the simple reason that Dancing is so dumb at his interviews no one likes a big head. come back Phil Taylor to beat all these boring players now that MVG can no longer do it even Duran duran glen Durant may have a chance now v MVG MVg is crap

Good sportsmen, gracious in victory and defeat.
When Peter Wrong beat MVG in the world final I predicted that MVG would never win another World Title I never thought it would be that he would never win another major title. MVG is the only top player whose fave score is 57. he gets it so many times. he's had 2 kids so now not so bothered about darts that was his first mistake . then he never goes for 180s so his power scoring is none existent he always goes around the board like a fool he's lost all his confidence and the others no longer fear him I can see MVG going back to Q school in a couple of years he is that bad now

Could just Google it. But... Start on 501. Every score you get is deducted from 501. The small inner segments is worth triple points of that number. Triple 20 is the highest score you can get which is why players aim there. The outer segments is double the score of that number. Your aim is to get to 0. And must finish on a double to end 501.

Van Gerwen literally GAVE UP in those last few legs, thats a sign of a player who's going down the same yellow brick road as Adrian Lewis, as if you are an MVG fan, I'd be worried. Look at the contrast between Peter and Michael now, Peter ONLY plays to the crowd with his walk-on. Thn he looks like a piece of STEEL. Confidence in sport can be as much as ability, when you lose the confidence ability goes out of the window, MVG looks like he'll continue to slide.
