Fully Involved Farm Fire: Fire + EMS + Police responding

Fully involved farm fire in a village in southern Germany:
Was spotting along a major highway as I was able to get a video of a Bavarian State Police Highway Patrol car. While recording it the sirens in the area went off, but there was no accident reported anywhere in the area. Just after stopping the video I recognized the smoke rising in the distance. The fire has just started. So I headed down into the valley...
You see numerous apparatus from volunteer fire departments and higher ranked county fire chiefs, EMS and units from the volunteer disaster management, and some State Police cars responding to the fire.
The fire destroyed the cow barn and annex, but the FD was able to prevent the fire from spreading onto the farm house. 4 calves died in the barn, and 1 cow had so severe injuries from the fire that the farmer asked an police officer to shoot it and thus relieve the cow from its pain. He did shoot several times but it wasn't successful. Shortly after a veterinarian arrived and euthanized the cow.
As you can see the farm was like around the corner from the station of the local volunteer fire department. The fire was very intense right from the beginning and before the first units arrived on scene. The FD then was able to get the fire under control within a rather short time, but it still took hours to extinguish the last hot spots and the FD stayed on scene the entire night.
