Great Tutorial, very simple and practical, I've use it to solve a similar problem for one of my projects, Thank you so much for sharing this!!best regards
@@BINHE615 yeah, I created a mass surface, divided it and applied generic model on it. Just wanted all of them to have varying colours but this error comes up.
What are the panels in the other 9 curtain walls? Are they the same panels to those in the first curtain wall? Or maybe because you have too many curtain panels and you need to increase the list?
Hi Oscar, if you are new to Revit, I suggest that you start from basic first. You can google a book “no experience required”, I think it will be good for you.
@@BINHE615 gracias por la recomendación disfruto mucho tus vides por tiene contenido muy impresionante, porque no se pillan en español,de nuevo gracias por tus vídeos espero con la practica seguirte el ritmo.
Yes, you can try this in Dynamo. For example, if I want to have 60% of “a” and 40% of “b”, create a list with “a” Cycle 6 and “b” Cycle 4, then Cycle again to reach the number needed, followed by a Shuffle. I can do a quick video for you.
Excelente tutorial.

Gracias

This is great!!!! Thanks!
it keeps saying ("ma";) is not a recognized parameter
What is the name of the material parameter in your family?
@@BINHE615 same problem, and i have the exact name on the family parameter
Same here
Nice! Thank you!
Hi, i am using this on generic model family and running in to an error. The parameter is read
only and thoughts on that.
I'm not too sure... is the parameter instance?

@@alizohayb1 Is it a Model-in Place mass? Dynamo will not work in Model-in Plane Mass. You need to do this in a conceptual mass.
@@BINHE615 it is a conceptual mass.
Oh, no idea then.... maybe share the file?
Thks, It took me a while but at last i made it.

Do you mean the Revit template? It’s the default Revit architectural template.
Do you know how to randomize by percentage? Let's say I want 60 percent of 1 color and 40 percent of the other?
