I just want to thank you, i did your plumbing course a few month ago and added the certificate to my CV, i got the offer because nobody else had one so just saying thank you.
Good to know, thank you. The only thing I couldn't get to work was the realistic colour in the project. The colour I selected showed up in the family editor but not in the project once loaded in. Very frustrating not to get it to show. (2023 version). (I tried all detail levels and realistic in Visual Styles ... also ran the render option up in the View Panel also. It still didn't show the colour and remained a plain grey).
Unfortunately, this only works as a tutorial. This method does not work for a real project, because the wall needs specific dimensions and Curatin wall does not trim the edges and top.
Yes, that's true, but this can be used for the majority of the wall and the design process where changes are made often, then you can use model in-place for specific edge situations. In some cases where detailed 3D is not necessary, you can even fix this with some detail lines.
I literally spent 2 hrs trying to do it and then I realized I must draw the 2 bricks on all the 5 segments so it can be appropriate, but couldn't understand why
This is so helpful! I have one question. When I try to make circular shape in elevation view, it makes a very strange brick pattern, and can't cut through the bricks. what should I do?
Hello! Thanks for this useful tutorial. This is a type of wall frequently applied in architecture and it's great to get the method of drawing it in Revit! I have a question though. I want to create two walls of this type which are connected perpendicular to each other. However when I follow this process they can't be joined properly and seal the corner. The corner is left with a vertical gap. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I'm so glad you use metric. I have watched so many of your videos. Thanks.

wow genius . thanks a lot
This is great!! Your tutorials are always helpful especially for students. Is there a way to add an arched opening in something like this?
Thank you! You can use edit profile tool to shape an arched opening in this type of wall. Perhaps you will have to fix the edges a little bit. :)
