I'm not sure about the type of blade, but I'm sure the manufacturer made a refill blade because the blade is removable. Sorry I can't be more helpful..
It’s good, but I don’t know if it’s better than other brands because this is the only one I’ve tried. It does the job for me and the blade is still pretty sharp after 4 months of use.

How often do the blades need to be replaced?
Ideally 6 months for a regular use. Mine is still working great after almost a year, but I don't use it that often.

Yes mine came with a micro usb cable, idk if it's a regional thing or maybe it's an older product
