This makes me so happy! I'm dancing by the end of it! Did anyone else notice the treetops blowing in the mighty wind? somehow that added to the emotion!
You wrote this? And performed it all yourself? God bless you, sir, sincerely! I'm glad to know that excellent music of this kind is still being composed. I would give anything to be able to do what you do.
Eduardo is one of many composers who are interested in reviving the older styles. I'd be happy to give you a list of other people interested in writing pure Baroque music.
@@bachman8 Oh great! There's Federico Maria Sardelli, for starters, in Italy. Grant Colburn here in the US--and both of those are older. Younger composers include Erik Schroeder, a violinist, Simon Lecaulle, an organist, and Tamsin Jones from the UK. All of these composers are present on TH-cam, and there are likely more to be discovered.
@@MitchBoucherComposer en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elam_Rotem is another one. th-cam.com/channels/JOiqToQ7kiakqTLE7Hdd5g.html And has great video on early music history. Composer, harpsichordist, singer. @bachman8
i love all your videos, but the most inspiring ones are these "new old french baroque music". Lully has been my favourite composer for almost 15 years, and I find his music quite simple, but there's a charm and sensuality not found in other composers, not even the great Charpentier. I think this composition of yours captures his spirit. keep them up! :D

This is incredibly inspiring! I am beyond impressed with your contrapuntal writing and expertise in this style! You have captured both the intellectual and emotional qualities of a chaconne, and I love the instrumentation. I’m also inspired to know there are others out there reviving Renaissance and Baroque music. I hope to become a composer myself that highlights this style - a few things I have written are on my channel. I can’t wait to share this video with my colleagues!! Congratulations
My gosh....I think I am going to place you in my row of favorite composers from Dufay, J.S. Bach. Lennon/McCartney. George Harrison and G.F. Haendel. You do a more than splendid job reviving those old music styles. I think this is foreshadowing a new trend in classical music. Looking despereately forward to hear more, and hope your music is going to be repertoire of many consorts and orchestras all over the world.

Contemporary music has long been in need of a good house-cleaning; and those such as you who utilize older musical styles for newly-composed music are doing more good than you may possibly realize.
You're welcome! Baroque, Renaissance, and Medieval Music are my favorites. I have music on CD's from the 21st century, and from every century back to the 12th. Great background for French Baroque music at the Grand Trianon and Hall of Mirrors at Versailles.
I think you are also inspired by Couperin and Marais, listening to the beautiful Harpsichord intro and Viol solo in the halfway. Thank you so much for the sweet music.
This is really beautiful piece of music. I'm recorder player and this is really good composition for alto recorder. Renaissance and baroque music is best for recorders! :-D Thank you!
Ola Eduardo, ache este video, agora. O Estilo e' logicamente frances, porem tambem vejo certa rememberance do Signore Corelli.
