Are you looking for. a palette with more pigment? These shadows are soft. Not like an Anastasia Beverly Hills palette. I love those too but I use those for different moods.

@@JulieMeikle I am an accountant by trade, also was a mua for over 20 years. I still do accounting as my business and I also work shifts full time at London Gatwick Airport. I just don’t do bored! 6 days a week working is the norm, hubby is the same. But it’s a choice really. We have a fantastic lifestyle and it’s because we do that! We might slow down one day 🤣. Love watching you and enjoying each and every one of your mishaps too. You keep everything real and I love that!
I don't do bored either. I need to have a purpose and keep my mind busy and learning. Good for you. I can't picture my husband or I fully retiring. If I stopped making videos I would have to volunteer somewhere.

Nothing about my life is perfect and planning is a gene that skipped a generation from my mother to my daughter. Seriously, they shake their heads at me.

Someone made a comment about the editing and how the last two videos were different and how they didn't feel like me. They were because they were edited by an editor I hired. She's talented and wonderful but the style was very different to my original style. I'd love to know your thoughts. I added the funny music to this one though. I thought it added to the ridiculousness of the situation. But I want to know if you found it too much. Help! 🤗
@JulieMeikle I absolutely thought this was a great video. I loved the touch of music & the funny comment bubbles. I much prefer to see a "warts and all" type of video, rather than one that's been heavily edited. I think seeing how someone else fixes a little (or big) mistake helps all of us in the long run. Also as you asked in your video I'm watching from Wales in the UK 🏴
Good save! I have the same coloring as you and have nothing black in my eye makeup for this very reason. Browns are more flattering and more forgiving on blondes I think. 🥰💖💕
You're right. I actually like plum on me better than brown. Shiseido Micro Liner is so good. Sometimes brown can make me look sick. It all depends on the tone. Do you have a favourite liner, Kim?

If you like MAC paint pot, you ought to try MAC crème color base. I absolutely LOVE it in Hush. It works fabulous as a base for eyeshadow.
Oh I forgot about Hush. I remember that one. It has a touch of shimmer, doesn't it? Like a wettish look?:

Oh that's great, Lisa. I bet it's because it applies less product. I was thinking of you when I bought the Haus Labs paint. I tried it again with the Warm Essentials palette. I used less and set it with powder right away. It worked well.

The MAC 4-in-1 pen is beautiful! I chose it because I know how it performs. It lasts without drying my skin out. It's one of my favourites to use. Do you know what colour you would be? MAC's colours are much better than they used to be. I always a hard time finding my shade. They were either too pink or too yellow. Now I can find a neutral shade in all the formulas. I'm 27N in this formula.

Thank you for your honesty. I hired an editor to help me post more videos but she has a different style. Unfortunately it didn't work out. I noticed the same thing. She's wonderful and talented but I'm like you. I'm used to my style which is more raw.
I wish it worked out. I would love to post more videos so my channel would grow but I like my style of editing and doing it all makes it hard.

Oh Wow Julie! I would have given up and washed my face completely, and started over. Your patience is amazing, and your mistake , you always fix and turn it into a very pretty eye look. Love that Foundation on You ! Have lots of fun. I think that’s the first time I’ve heard you mention your husbands Name. I could be wrong. Anyhoo, beautiful as always. I’ve completely stopped wearing eyeshadows. I may apply bronzer and or blush to give a bit of definition. MAC paint pod is ever so drying and yuck on my more mature lids. I threw it in the trash. So don’t with it. Today, I only used Lancôme Tinte E’ Dol on my checks, hyperpigmentation and on top of DRMTLGY color corrector and it looked amazing. I was so excited. lol. The Lancôme tinte E'Dol, is that the matte longwearing foundation? I own one of their foundations but I can't remember which one. That's ridiculous. I have so many.
I had my Co2 laser on Wednesday. I'm going to pop on here for a livestream at some point. I'm trying to figure out what the best time will be to come on. I have to tidy my room and do my hair. It's been up in a messy bun to keep it out of the Aquaphor slathered on my face. It wasn't bad. She numbed me for over an hour. It was uncomfortable but not painful. I'm disappointed she didn't get close to my eyes. There was a miscommunication between us so I have to go back in a month to treat my eyes. Bummer! That means I'll have downtime again but that was the area I wanted done over anything else.
