Steph been destroying his haters since getting drafted. No one believed in him and doubted him on every level. Mind u Steph had glass ankles at the start and literally won championship and mvps on a bargain contracts. Steph been a first ballot hall of famer since his unanimous mvp in my opinion. And its even more clear at the 22 chip and his recent carry towards the last 2 crucial games for the Olympics. They "blew" the 3-1 lead because they just ran out of gas having the best regular season record. Steph was playing on 1 leg in the playoffs and teammates were in and out due to injuries. Ofc the main instigator and issue was drays antics getting his suspended and firing up the cavs.
They didn’t run out of gas. 1. Refs lopsided as hell in games 4,5,6. 2. Dray and Steph were ejected from games. 3. Jr smith dove into bogusts knees, he was warriors only rim protector. Suddenly after that Lebron could score at will again when warriors have no rim protection, and Harrison Barnes missed every single three in all the last four games. If he even made one, the warriors win that year too.
It’s not the shot it’s the overall performances in both elimination rounds and the way he dominated the opponents. He was unguardsble. May as well have been sitting around shooting open jumpers because defenders didn’t phase him at all, even coming at him two at a time.

The crazy part about the 2021 season is that before the tailbone injury the warriors were on pace for 5th seed and without some of the 20pt+ leads blown in the 4th qt they could have made it to 4th seed Steph would have undoubtedly gotten a 3rd MVP. Also the dumbest narrative about steph is the "hes not clutch" i still remember that dumb ESPN video about him being 0-12 in go ahead shots
In like 2019 I was starting to think kd was like 11th 12th while curry was like 15th. Now curry is undoubtedly a top 9 player all time while kd is like 15th all time
Nobody should disrespect Curry as he and the GSW Warriors has been the most dominant team in past 20 years. He won 4x in Lebron's era. Mind you, his 3 rings was against Lebron. He should be considered this generations best. Numbers, accolade and rings cemented it.
@@TheRealPaulyD Does 15-7 ring a bell? That's their finals record kid. GSW won 15x over Lebron in the finals. Lebron only manages 7 games. That's less than 50%. Swept once and a gentleman's sweep once. Not even close! Educate yourself.
@@TheRealPaulyD LeBron has a physical advantage over Steph. If Bron was the same height as Curry, would he be as dominant and impactful? I think he'd be like Westbrook or D-Rose.

I definitely when Steph Curry got injured overall and have a left hand injury as a whole and Damian Lillard just took over as one of the best guards of the league at the time and Steph Curry when he came back had to remind the world why he's one of the best player in basketball and definitely showed he can still play at a high level.🏀
2014-15 advanced stats Curry #1 in WS/48 at 0.288. Harden #4 at 0.265 Curry #3 in PER at 28.0. Harden #4 at 26.7 Curry #1 in BPM at 9.9. Harden #3 at 8.8 However. Harden #1 in WS (16.4) and VORP with Curry being #3 in WS at 15.7 and #2 in VORP at 6.9. Nah Curry deserved it. Also the Warriors were 67-15 that season.
Steph, becoming the first unanimous MVP at that being back to back, also led his team to a 73-9 record that feat cemented his legacy for me and many, however he had goals in mind and strived for more. "He's a silent assassin on the court, a certain calm about - Kobe Bryant. 💜💛
Why do people think we needed kd last time I checked he join the warriors who had the best record of all time and then yall say we was joking without kd how bout the other way around
To me steph and bron and maybe kd it depends on how im feeling their legacys cant be hurt moving forward with their careers its like mj on the wizards it doesn't matter if they completely fall off a cliff and absolutely suck now for what they did in their primes they are legends regardless no matter what happens moving forward their careers wont be tarnished to me. The rest of their careers is just icing the extra awards and accolades they can get before their done
The way the Warriors looked in pre-season, if they are able to carry that into the regular season with the roster they have: Ring #5 may be a very serious possibility. I still have concerns about their size and I think they can afford to trade about 2-3 of those rotation guys + 1-2 draft picks for that legit star-level big man who can address those concerns while STILL having a roster that's 11-12 guys deep. Or maybe not, maybe this roster is enough and they just need one of the other 10 guys not named Steph or Draymond to step up and emerge as a star player: Either Wiggins finds his '22 self or Kuminga makes that leap as he has steadily been doing. But if they actually do manage to make a title run and Steph gets his 5th + a Finals MVP and maybe even a 3rd MVP depending on how they do in the regular season... I'm gonna have to make some changes to my Top 10 GOAT list if that happens.
The only time I’ve ever bet on the playoffs and finals, was 2022. I bet on Boston and Steph proceeded to show me what time it was. 😂after he put up 43 in game 4 and went nuts in game 6 and pointed at his ring finger, he was GOAT’d. I’ll never speak ill of that man again 😅🤣
1:20 Curry is definitely in the same stage kobe was in 2014 but not Lebron in 2018-19 cause Curry and Kobe stayed with their team and didn't want to leave so they had to go through a rebuild while Lebron joined a rebuilding young team in the lakers and disbanded them.
Bro when KD said that it was the ultimate lack of integrity that’s why he joined gsw, and more importantly that’s why he had success there. Messed with the bball gods on that one.

I was always a Spur Fan until the Great Tim Duncan retired. The Admiral David Robinson and Tim Duncan were never attention seekers. They let their games did the talking. If Classy was a Person! Those men are the definition. I looked around the league and found this guy Steph Curry he had just came in the league and I fell in love with him. He reminded me of Tim Duncan some what. He was never an attention seeker and he was not that popular. There was something fascinating about him. Folks started to talk but there was always the Haters/ Talking Heads and he has proven them wrong time and time again. The 2022 NBa Finals and 2024 Olympics is it for me. Steph Curry the Phenom showed up big time on the World Wide Stage. I never doubted him the Haters came out once more. I defended him on every negative comments. The two last games ended the Haters. If he never won another ring in the NBA again NO PROBLEM! 2022 NBA Finals was the best ever. No other final, Bucks,Toronto, Nuggets and Boston was not as exciting. They are 1 Championship and done. Warriors 4 Championships . I am Good, Steph Curry the Phenom who can stand next to him? Only the great Lebron James King. When these men retire don't know what the NBA will be like. Only youngmen bringing back the 80's andb90"s with the baby mama's drama and their brainless BBL women. They don't have time to craft their games to make a difference too busy flanting their lifestyle and low self esteem. Nuff Respect to Steph Curry the Phenom. He will never be defeated!😂✌️♥️♥️♥️♥️
@swishout I somehow missed when you dropped this video. You alluded to the point of not sure how long we will see this version of Steph there you wanted to celebrate him. Steph also has among some of the worst narratives in sports. Steph in the NBA Finals stats are 27/6/6 on 43/40/92 in his Finals career. This also includes the 2016 Finals (where he was hurt playing with an MCL sprain and a sprained ankle) In the 25 other finals games, Steph's averages in the Finals for his CAREER mind you are 31/7/6 on 47/45 from 3 on 5.3 makes a game/ and 91% from the free-throw line. He's been historic in the Finals and he only has 9 bad finals games which means on average he has 1.5 bad Finals games in every series he's played in his career. And has a great argument for the 2015 Finals which he should've won and the 2018 Finals where he was better than KD in 3/4 games and the best overall player on the court in Game 2 and Game 4. Also, people will bring up how he's 0/14 in the playoffs for go-ahead shots. But in the Finals he's 2/4 in go-ahead or game-tying shots in 2015 and 2018. And he literally has a 15-minute video of making clutch shots in the playoffs btw. The only guys who've put up Finals numbers similar to Steph constantly are MJ, Bron, West, Shaq (2000-02), and KD. Steph is a top 5 Finals performer ever and is one of the best playoff performers ever. Top 7 in my opinion because I'm bias.

2022 was one of the most impressive championships runs I’ve ever seen. I thought they dynasty ended in 2019 losing durant, klay coming off 2 major surgeries. That really made me respect steph in another level
That 2020/21 season was his best season in my eyes.
In 2016, you can see he had spacing.
There was no spacing in 2021, no other superstar, depleted injured team,
getting triple teamed at half court and still had the greatest shooting month of all time in April 2021
People might forget that season, but I will never. He had to show everyone he is still HIM.
Agreed. 2021 was his best individual season. He had the worst supporting roster of his career, was injured for lots of games which dropped them to 7th, and the stupid play in happens.
Reminder that same roster in the year before was historically bad, winning only 15 games and having one of the worst records in decades.
Steph carried THAT team to 0.541

@@myweirdsecondchannelwithap9070 and 2021 Curry missed a good chunk of games towards the end of the season. The team lost nearly all the games without Curry.
Another Swishout banger, we need a Paolo video he finna have a monster season
Countless times Steph didn’t even play the 4th quarter. He even was a minute or two away from breaking personal records but Kerr wouldn’t care and would sit him in the 4th if GSW have a large margin.
Well, gotta protect his health as well. Regular season records being broken and then getting injured wouldn't make sense.
@@jdapaul1351yeah, I never understood this narrative. If steph wanted to play then he would. Kerr is not telling steph to sit forcefully because the warriors are up, if steph wants to break the record he can make Kerr put him in. Simple as that

it's crazy how time flies. Went from rooting for the underdog warriors pre-2016, prayed for their downfall as soon as KD slithered his way over there, then felt a lil bad when it was just Steph and a rebuilding squad, then 2022 happened and I forgot how much hatred I had for this team. And now you're telling me we're in the final stages of this dynasty
The last 2 months of the 2021 season felt so crazy to watch he averaged 40 and went nuclear once per game it waa psychedelic to watch
Before that 'chip plus Finals MVP Steph Curry's hate was incredible crazy. After it... The silence of success
That NOOOOO! From Shannon is still funny today 😂😂😂😂
That Bill Walton one was so absurd lmao I think Bill Walton is a disrespected by casual fans but he's not better than Steph😂
4:56 I promise you no one forgot about curry’s 2016 season 😂😂
It was a strange season. They didn't have a playoffs that year right?
That shot in the Olympics cemented him as one of the greatest for me forsure
It’s not the shot it’s the overall performances in both elimination rounds and the way he dominated the opponents. He was unguardsble. May as well have been sitting around shooting open jumpers because defenders didn’t phase him at all, even coming at him two at a time.
2016 forgotten? By who? That's was arguably the best season ever in nba history 😂

that was the best Warriors I have seen, it ultimately ended up in Cav's side when Steph fucked his knee, the best defender in the roster Green being suspended, and the only inside big rebounder Bogut getting injured in game 5 and never returning.

I’m a life long Knicks fan 56 years , but Steph Curry is my favorite player …. He plays with such joy , heart , and love of the game you can NOT help but enjoy watching him play . At least I do . Then add in that he by all accounts is an all around good guy , just seals it.
He’s a great ambassador to the NBA , and I hope he gets one more ring before he retires . Great video I enjoyed watching .
2016 is NOT forgotten bro 😭😭💀💀💀😹😹
Props to Swishout for this video! You really laid out all the facts-Steph has crushed every narrative over the years. From leading the Warriors to multiple titles to that 2022 Finals MVP, his legacy is solidified. Anyone still doubting him just isn’t paying attention. This breakdown was 🔥🙌.”
As a warriors hater, i love steph. I respect that man through it all.

The crazy part about the 2021 season is that before the tailbone injury the warriors were on pace for 5th seed and without some of the 20pt+ leads blown in the 4th qt they could have made it to 4th seed
Steph would have undoubtedly gotten a 3rd MVP. Also the dumbest narrative about steph is the "hes not clutch" i still remember that dumb ESPN video about him being 0-12 in go ahead shots

Curry top 10... Durant isn't... just that simple
W
In like 2019 I was starting to think kd was like 11th 12th while curry was like 15th. Now curry is undoubtedly a top 9 player all time while kd is like 15th all time
Nobody should disrespect Curry as he and the GSW Warriors has been the most dominant team in past 20 years. He won 4x in Lebron's era. Mind you, his 3 rings was against Lebron. He should be considered this generations best. Numbers, accolade and rings cemented it.
Not a chance… Every time Steph and LeBron matched up it was clear Steph wasn’t the same caliber of player as LeBron…
@@TheRealPaulyD type of player, no. caliber of player, absolutely

Great content Swish . Still remember how people were ranking Dame above him the year he got hurt and Steph dropped 62 once he came back

It’s funny bc rn the warriors have one of the best records in the league and their team looks great. Just more evidence we gotta stop doubting.
It’s crazy how Steph basically let KD be “the guy” and then never got recognized for it. KD has yet to find another teammate who will let him be “the guy”.

I definitely when Steph Curry got injured overall and have a left hand injury as a whole and Damian Lillard just took over as one of the best guards of the league at the time and Steph Curry when he came back had to remind the world why he's one of the best player in basketball and definitely showed he can still play at a high level.🏀

Alright man 🔥🔥
The way the Warriors looked in pre-season, if they are able to carry that into the regular season with the roster they have: Ring #5 may be a very serious possibility.
1:20 Curry is definitely in the same stage kobe was in 2014 but not Lebron in 2018-19 cause Curry and Kobe stayed with their team and didn't want to leave so they had to go through a rebuild while Lebron joined a rebuilding young team in the lakers and disbanded them.
they wont appreciate and praise him till he's gone, they do that for every legend. They wait till they retire then be missing them and crap
Props for putting context around how Steph killed these narratives
Bro when KD said that it was the ultimate lack of integrity that’s why he joined gsw, and more importantly that’s why he had success there. Messed with the bball gods on that one.
Bro I remember in 2015 when Steph was making those outlandish deep threes and the narrative was that he was just getting “lucky” and it was just a “phase” fast forward to 2024 and that didn’t age well at all 😭
I was always a Spur Fan until the Great Tim Duncan retired.
That 2015 MVP I feel as though Anthony Davis had a stronger case for MVP than James Harden, just the fact the Pelicans didn’t win enough games
4:29 As a kid I hated Kerr for taking out curry or Klay or KD before the 4th quater. Now I understand why, if he didn’t curry would probably average 40ppg and Klay would’ve scored 80 against Indiana or had 20+ threes in late 2018.
As a kid (6 year old) 2014-15 season was my first nba season that I fully watched and I needed a team/favorite player. I became a fan of curry and the warriors during the three point contest which he won. My older brother was a lebron fan and he tried to make me one two but I just was to fascinated by curry, Klay, and the warriors. You can just imagine how it was 2015-18 NBA FINALS me and my brother favorite player/team squaring off for the championship for 4 years straight
Nah guys, Pause the video at 11.37 and look at my man's face, angry and determinded as hell, he was on a mission to secure that championship
I knew he was fucken great back in 2015 and he’s probably going to get one more this year or next… ive been saying he’s top 5 of all time for years now and if he wins one more he will be top 3 easy
glad I clicked. Put some respect on that man.
What’s crazy because unfortunately it gets over shadowed by Lebron, but I don’t think people realize how crazy Steph’s longevity is. When healthy Steph really has not shown any sign of slowing down at ALL.

I’ve said this time and time again, Steph honestly has nothing to prove! As much as I love KD, and I know I’m gonna get heat for this but GS didn’t need him. All four titles with the same team, unanimous MVP and undoubtedly the perfect season minus the loss against Cleveland in 15-16.
