@@BaldorfBreakdowns It's actually probably faster to fall into the lava anyway to get to the ramp leading to the ledge, so a good strategy might be to do the normal jumpslash strategy, and then if you fail it you can climb up the ledge and drop down from there

I’m waiting for the day when light arrows is locked behind chest mini game . Lens locked behind something impossible. Ex: prelude check is lens. Forest medallion is jabu jabu, barinade has the boomerang
If he's got sun song and a bottle he can cheese it by doing v1 ocarina items and using sun song to reset the area. Whether or not the doors are locked doesn't reset so you can just try for keys and advance bit by bit.
Agreed, altho I *would* like an option to make *every* chest a giant chest, entirely because then the wacky tricks that big chests enabled would be possible (Weirdshots through walls to chests you normally couldn't reach). I loved when ZFG noticed he could do a trick because of a big chest.

How many runthroughs of the game should I do before I try rando? I’ve done 2 full playthroughs (regular and MQ) and a bunch of incomplete playthroughs to exploit glitches (3ds version btw)

As long as you know all the item locations or use a tracker while playing, there's no real barrier unless you use logic that may require glitches.
