The VCX-100 on Ferrix had some interesting company, while many of the ships were older, less desirable craft there was also a MandalMotors Lancer-class. This ship was kind of a cross between a light freighter and an assault ship. The worst thing I could say about it was that it would get a lot of attention wherever it went, making it a poor choice for those who wish to fly under the proverbial radar.
I remember in one of he RPG source books it stated that it was originally classed as a Medium freighter but was down graded to light freighter and tech change over time.
That’s the plan! I probably wouldn’t need the model for it, but there’s really only one or two good close-up shots of the civilian version compared to dozens of the Imperial one.
VCX-100 is one of my favorite ships in Star Wars, partly because CEC seem to have done away with their TARDIS tech and built a ship where the interior actually fits inside the exterior.
@@shadowgaminghd1115 some have it hard built, as in per first making the ship. You pay the ship, you pay the Hyper Drive Engine. Opposed to that, you can also buy the ship and buy the Hyper Drive afterwards. See, Kenobi had his fighter, and could attach it to a seperate Hyper Drive Ring. As example.
The good things: CEC-made (means modularity and relatively easy to repair), build-in docking space for a shuttle (is that really necessary?), external cargo clamp (truly nice), acceptable speed. The bad things: few and weak weapons, small cargo space, way to much needed crew, Let's be honest, it's only claim to fame is its use by the bad guys... There are dozens of better ships out there, don't fall for this one.
@@loothhussainfazeel855 I was talking about the ship in the video, the vcx-100. For the Gozanti, it would be: +Build by cec (that's good, see above), +external docking for up to 4 fighter-type craft in some variants, +external cargo clamps (in some variants), +relatively good armament (depending on the variant), +good armor, +a resoable amount of cargo space and living space, +easy to get as a used ship (used by the imperial army, so surplus-ships will be available). -weak thrusters and resulting low speed an maneuver abilities -big, -needs more droids or crew

It was a popular ship for bounty hunting so it may even draws more attention
This channel is dope. Thanks for another great video
Thanks!
I like the VCX-100 a lot, I just wish there was more artwork for this craft on the internet, or that I was a halfways decent artist.
10 years old is crazy I remember watching it for the first time.
I know, right? I did a double-take when I read that while researching the video!
It’s just a better gozanti. With the aux fighter plus 3 airlocks you could carry 4 starfighters.
Can't wait for the GX1 and Gozanti freighter eps. Love this channel
Thanks!
I enjoy all of Radio Free Coruscant videos 😂🎉🎉
This and the YU-410 are my favorite ships in Star Wars.
Just found your channel and I love it, I finally.found a ship channel. Keep up the good work
Thanks!
Still miss it's original mini ship attachment. I thought the Phantom was much more cooler than the Shethipede.
great breakdown, I am anxiously waiting for my haslab ghost from last year.
Love the VCX 100! Just needs a better hyperdrive. Otherwise, she's about perfect as is.
i would love to see the bomber from the last jedi on a future video

since you are doing a model on the Gozanti. you could do a video on the entire family of Gozantis. there is quite a few of them.
That’s the plan! I probably wouldn’t need the model for it, but there’s really only one or two good close-up shots of the civilian version compared to dozens of the Imperial one.
Extra heavy plot armour.. lucky the empire didn't send 4 VCX100 crewed by elite commandos after them..
conservation of ninjutsu.... they should send just one if the empire really wants them to be in a pickle
I truly prefer the VX 100 over another frighter...
I need this ship. Take my money
i didn't notice before until reading trivia of "the wings of the master" but the phantom doesn't have an astromech socket until that episode (e07s2)
The Asp Explorer in Elite has a very similar shape, size, and role. Even the cockpit has a similar two-tier layout. Lovely ship, it is.
Sadly it doesn't have the ship launched fighter, that would get it closer.
Good review, Thank you.
I would duck really low if that chin turret was suppressing while I walked down that ramp.

I’m honesty surprised they were so careful about it for a kids show, but yeah, the interior was super well deigned!
Kazellus light freighter, please.
CAN YOU DO THE PHANTOM 2/SEPERATIST SHUTTLE
What about the Dynamic Class Ebon Hawk!?!?!
By far better than the YT-1300
Dude the YT had a hyper drive, not sure if standard or aftermarket/retrofitted
@@csch1510 nearly every ship does that can fit one, what’s your point?
