Another Awesome Video.... Your looking like your almost ready for the winter weather coming soon. Are You going to have to power wash the robot room walls and the collector to try and keep them like new? the girls seem to be taking to the new barn routine well and seem very relaxed. I know your videos are behind but how is the herd doing with going on their own the robot so far?. It is truly amazing watching as they all become accustomed to their new routines and there seems to be a more relaxed tone in all of your voices as each video progresses. As Always THANK YOU for sharing your families journey to this Brand New 21st Century Robotic Dairy Operation with all of us.........
@@allendavidson6608 Yes, figuring out a schedule for all the maintenance jobs is another thing on the list. We have been working out the bugs on the manure collector and because it wasn't quite doing its job there has been more splashing then we were expecting. It is now week 6 and we are done to between 12-15 cows that we have to fetch throughout the day, regularly. It is definitely getting better. Thanks for your comments!
@@jerryrobson9309 Not yet and I cringe every time he goes to feed. No one else wants to run the TMR till that gets done so it all on my son John to not mess up. 🥴 I think the parts are finally in and we are booked for next Tuesday🤞
@@david19659 it was around the 10th-12th days and we only have to fetch 10-15 cows am and pm for an hour or so. We fetch some at lunch time too. It's getting better for sure.
@@greghollingsworth1321 it's coming up gradually we are now averaging 2 milkings per cow per day and around 27-28 litres. There is one heifer that averages 4 mailings per day and is milking 40 litres. Pretty cool!
Great videos love watching them. Been watching since you started your adventure. Awesome job.
@@jerryrobson9309 Thank you very much! I really appreciate that!
