what makes this video truly impressive is the subtle sound design used through out. It really sells the scene then when the sound design is absent we are given a moment to emotionally connect to the subject. Superb.

I’m just getting into photography and film making, and I’ve watched probably over 1,000 videos with various lens combinations and cinematic qualities in the past month alone (I may have a bit of a problem).
Let me to say that yours ranks up there among the top few. Not merely for the quality of the imagery, but you and that model just knock it out of the park. I don’t know if it was your direction, or her natural instincts and mannerisms as she looked at the camera, combined with your framing and shot selection, but this was just extraordinary in it’s simplicity but how powerful it was.
Please don’t stop, because goddamn if I don’t need this kind of inspiration as I’m starting out.

The vast majority was shot on the 85mm 1.8, with a couple shots on the 35mm 1.4 and 20mm 1.8 G
You did an amazing job making sure the model face was exposed perfectly at all times.. how did you achieve that?
The vast majority of the shots were just using available ambient light and just exposing for the models face, but some shots I used my lil aputure MC light to light the models face. The siii has great low light performance and the color grade came out 👌🏼 for the skin tones

Gimbal and active mode yes! On a couple shots there may be minor stabilization, but for the most part its just gimbal and active mode!

Nope! I did everything from scratch in DaVinci resolve for this one! Every clip was so different a lut wasn't gonna work

The iso changed from shot to shot based on lighting, but I tried to usually keep it at the base iso's of 640 and 12800

I’m so lost and overwhelmed lol. I really want the Sony AS7III mainly for content and streaming but not really sure how lenses work and their differences. I see in the description there’s two lenses but can’t tell between them in the video. I’ve only ever used the Sony A6000 as a high quality streaming camera rather than a cheap webcam
